Excellent rooms - spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. One of the best family rooms I’ve ever stayed in anywhere.

Breakfast was lacking. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal boxes, some bananas and a couple of pots of yoghurt. Because of this everyone ordered a La carte, which meant the kitchen was swamped and it took 30 minutes to get my order. And whilst there is a coffee machine - it was not operational during breakfast. Why?? Weekends can sometimes be a little noisy with live music however the manager did his best to ensure the least disturbance - thank you!

The staff are always very welcoming recognising us from previous visits. Rooms just lovely, breakfast and dinner just absolutely brilliant no complaints at all. It feels great to continue to come back to the Waverley and we are never ever disappointed by the standards from the moment you check in to the moment you leave nothing is too much trouble.

The front rooms are a bit noisier with the traffic but we understand that nothing can be done about this our preference would be to always have a room at the back of the premises but didnt put us off booking again when we got back for July this time with our grandchildren.

Great Central location for visiting Callander. We were there for Jazz and folk festival so lots going on. Everything about weekend was great, staff were fabulous, breakfast delicious and Waverley is one of the venues for the various bands in the festival so if it's bad weather outside then the music is just downstairs from your room 😁 Would definitely recommend.

Plug points in the room were limited and in awkward places. Not enough plugs to use for charging phones/kindle or using hair dryer, straighteners etc. Accessible plug points seemed to all be located around the single bed ( room 8 sleeps 3 and has double and single bed)

Wonderful stay, nothing a problem for staff who changed our room for one with a bath. Also allowed us to bring bikes thro the bar to store out the back. Bar food, ales and wine very good. Would definitely like to return

Breakfast arrangements poor. No buffet, so when asking for stuff off the "free" continental menu, we were brought too much/too little of what we fancied. Would have preferred to see what was on offer and helped ourselves. The cooked breakfast was very good however. On another note, although keen sports fans, we felt that X3 telys with footy matches too much ☹️

It had been a while since we'd been in this neck of the woods and decided to stay two nights last minute. The location is ideal for exploring the area on foot/bike. The breakfast was exceptionally good, lovely and attentive staff and a good bar and restaurant with outdoor seating too. Bar food menu had a lot of choice and everything we ordered was very tasty and really good value.

The pillows were quite firm, and expected slightly nicer toiletries in the bathroom for the price. No handsoap in the bathroom dispenser but I'm sure the staff would have remedied this if I brought it to their attention - I just used the showergel instead.

Arrived for breakfast to be greeted with frosty reception it was 9.45am breakfast stops being served at 10am asked if we were guests at hotel? And time would have to be checked. Eventually served breakfast but felt it was an inconvenience. Appears to have changed management x staff since we last stayed August 2021. Not sure they have the ambiance right yet. Housekeeping staff bright chatty x cheerful but hotel manager a bit frosty.

Being treated as an inconvenience and items on menu not available. No mixed grill No Gammon steaks No baked potatoes No gluten free beer No Sauvignon blanc wine No gluten free sausages or bread at breakfast

Comfortable, quiet room with excellent shower. Convenient town centre location. Tasty breakfast.

Evening meal (lasagne) was tasty, but came without the advertised garlic bread and with ordinary fries rather than the rosemary fries I ordered. Overall impression is that staff on the evening shift were stretched because the bar was busy and that quality of service suffered as a result It was much better at breakfast.

We had a very nice dinner followed by entertainment in the bar. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay again for sure. The mirror in the bathroom had bluetooth! Right on the mainstreet, close to everything and we got parking around the corner.

One of the beds was lopsided making it a little uncomfortable. The noise from the traffic could be heard in the room as the windows were old.

The location is great, right in the heart of Callander, parking was not an issue for us. Once booked in we dropped everything in the room and went out. The pub is lively with nice people passing in and out. The staff were great, could not do enough for you, made us feel very welcome.

Parking maybe an issue for some but we got a space round by the church and police station which was free and safe.

The hotel was lovely right in centre of main street. Staff very friendly although they were very short staffed on the Saturday night. Not their fault as with covid etc. Would definitely stay again.

Room was lovely not overly big but it suited for just one night stay. My only thing would be to get blinds as with on main road u had to close curtain when getting ready making the room dark when it was beautiful outside and maybe have couple glasses in bathroom. But I wouldn't let this stop me from staying again would definitely return again
