The Dyvels Inn

The staff were lovely, the location was quiet, The bed was comfortable, some may think the bathroom is a bit dated but the power shower was great.Good range of tea and coffee in the room, The bar does get busy during the day, there is a car park and it is near the Train station. Dog friendly too. A great value stay.

They don't currently provide breakfast, but we knew that before we arrived and there are plenty of places in Town to have breakfast.

Location, next to Tynedale rugby and cricket clubs, is excellent for dog owners. The hotel is more than dog-friendly providing bowls, water, dog biscuits etc. It has a large beer garden and patio where you can eat/drink and which leads into their own car park. The room was spacious with a large, very comfortable bed and plenty of pillows/towels. There was masses of very hot water and even a toothbrush and tube of toothpaste in the bathroom. Breakfast was a self-service arrangement with an excellent range of cereals, fruit, yogurt, milk, tea/coffee etc ready in a separate room left open for those wishing (as I did) to leave early in the morning. However it was the wonderful staff who made the stay so memorable....nothing was too much trouble even when I requested a pizza on a 'non-pizza' night and also needed to leave prematurely.

Location. Right at the train station. Quiet. Away from the village. Food, homecooked and fresh. Very welcoming and warm. Pool table. Bar & Bedroom were spotless, bed was super comfortable! Looks much better in person than online.

Only two things.... Bar choice of drinks was very poor, barmaid didnt seem to know what she was doing, in turn lead us too go for drinks elsewhere, And the TV in our room was so small, even with my glasses on couldnt see from the bed.

The location was fantastic. A short walk to the shops and pubs and right next to the train station and amazing curry restaurant. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding! Staff were lovely.

There was a mix up with our booking. We booked a double room and were given a twin. Unfortunately they were unable to change us to a double as they were fully booked. They did however compensate us with a couple of rounds of drinks.

The staff are really friendly and welcoming, even on a scorching hot day that was really busy. We had a meal in the afternoon and the food was brilliant. Nicely situated so that it's out of the centre but a short walk in if you fancy it. I will definitely come back.

Probably me but I couldn't get the microwave to work in the morning so I was unable to heat up the porridge.

Everything was great - the hosts were friendly, location was quiet but only a short walk from the village. Also close to a petrol station which is useful after a long drive. The room was bigger than I expected, a comfortable bed and coffee/tea making facilities. The food in the pub was lovely too, as were the locals. Can’t complain about anything, and certainly not at the price

Bed was hard but bearable. Harrier room could benefit from opaque glass in bathroom to offer privacy.

Ideal place for cyclists to stay. There's cover to store your bikes, lovely warm rooms and very close to Corbridge train station. The scrambled eggs were the best I have ever eaten by a long way!! Seriously - ask for the scrambled eggs. Beer was good too. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this place. Great value for money. I'll definitely be staying again.

The Dyvels is virtually next door to the train station & there is a car park behind the pub. The rooms were clean, comfortable with all the basics you may need. The staff were very friendly, helpful & welcoming. One of our party is gluten free & although this wasn’t marked on the dinner or breakfast menu the chef was most accommodating for both meals. Great atmosphere in the pub & the local beers went down a treat.

The only tiny criticism was that soap wasn’t provided in our rooms.

Sharn the young manager is so lovely, nothing was any trouble to her, as a new manager she has lots of plans to make the Dyvels Inn even better. Very old full of character place to stay, location just nice short walk into Corbridge.
