Flexistay Aparthotel Sutton

I was quite surprised by this accommodation, it was reasonably priced, situated in such a nice quite cozy street, very nice neighbourhood, 10 min walk away from shops and Sutton train station, and from Sutton train station, it's a 40 min ride to Central London. It's worth noting that it's not actually a hotel in the usual sense , it's really more like a big converted house, so it had a hostel feeling to it, but I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were extremely nice and helpful,specially Joe! My room(16) was top floor and so cozy/ super clean, overall quite impressd!

When I booked the room it said including breakfast, but You actually have to cook your own breakfast in the communal kitchen. But not a deal breaker to be honest!

I arrived and was greeted by a very friendly man. I believe his name was Joe. It felt chilled and homely. The room smelt beautiful. The room was smallish but spotless with a kettle etc and TV.. Bed linen spotless. Lots of towels and a lovely modern clean bathroom. It also had a modern communial clean kitchen area. Which was well stocked to help yourself to breakfast in the morning. I was able to walk about 10 mins to a great shopping area that evening.. I'm a woman travelling my own and felt very safe as I arrived quite late at night. Would absolutely recommend. And would stay here again if I had to return to the same area. Thankyou for a pleasant stay😊❤️ Michelle x

Nothing I didn't like. Absolutely great value for money!

Located only a ten minute walk from the train station with good transport links. Use of kitchen and outside table was nice for eating breakfast at before the heat of the day kicked in. Twin room was a good size. The room fan was much appreciated as we were staying during a heat wave. Breakfast is available (to cook yourself) if you can eat it (bacon, eggs, white bread, jams, fruit juice). Was a really good base and met our needs.

Room on the front of the house, lots of property renovation close by so noise from early on, otherwise I think this would normally be a fairly quiet area. A dishwasher would be perhaps more hygienic in the kitchen. The room wasn't cleaned during our three night stay apparently due to staff not entering because of a risk of covid, yet we all walked around in the kitchen and dining area together? Some fresh fruit would have been appreciated. I was not able to eat any of the breakfast provided (bacon, eggs, white bread) so bought my own.

Studio rooms are good size and have kitchenette, en suite shower/toilet. Parking is limited (4/5 spaces for 10+ rooms) but we have always managed to park okay. Train station and convenience shop are a ten minute walk, and supermarket and High Street only 15 minutes away. The main kitchen has everything you would expect at home, we didn't use the dining room but it looks nice.

Sugar ran out in the communal kitchen, and that's about it for bad points! We have stayed a few times and know what to expect.

A wonderful find I stayed 2 nights It was so warm and welcoming the bed was so comfortable a great shower tea/coffee facilities in the room and a well stocked fridge I liked the idea of cooking my own choice of breakfast My room and the kitchen were spotless This Flexistay aparthotel Sutton is ideally situated a few minutes walk to Sutton High Street buses and rail connections Thanks to everyone I met there and had a chat with Highly recommended

If you're there for a few nights, it has a fully equipped kitchen. I struggle to sleep if a room is too warm(it wasnt) and they had a fan.

The message on the bell says to ring a number, but then they tell me to just ring the bell. It's not a big deal, but something to be sorted. Batteries in the TV remote needed changing. The main lights in the room are very bright, lights above the bed didn't work. There wasn't anything at all to put me off staying again. Easy fixes.

There are many Responses to many opinions from many different representatives on this Aparthotel. All the responses promises to do better next time . As they haven’t done better by now it probably won’t be happening. No need to respond that they will do better for my next stay. I won’t be back. There are girls here sadly plying the oldest trade in the world. There are men at night waiting at the door for this service they provide. It is not a suitable environment for a family or indeed any human being . The smell on the stairs and upper area of the building around our room was frightful. Any time we left the room we had to take a deep breath and make for the stairs. We avoided touching the banister as signs for no smoking and Masks’s must be worn were totally ignored. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast included on the website really means you have to do it yourself. Probably wash and dry someone else’s ware and cutlery in the process. The carpet has many stains . The walls are in need of paint as the stains look terrible around the light fittings. The noise from the heating system was most annoying as it continued through the night. The only option was to turn it off . The only mirror is in the toilet shower area. To call this a hotel of any description is a total untruth. Its more like a rough and ready hostel. It’s convenient to the town Centre If you are walking or driving. The shower and toilet was clean and worked well despite the noisy pipe work. We got a great nights sleep despite the trains running outside the window just over the garden fence. I gave this a lot of stars is because it has a good rating on the website. it had an 8 . Maybe long ago it was better but certainly not now.

The smell. The Prostitution on the premises. The dirty carpets. The dirty wall. No staff of any description. One man briefly helped me get sugar the last day we were there. He did not even greet me.The bedside lights did not work at all. The fact that it was advertised as something different with a rating of 8 when it barely deserved 1 . Under the dressing table there wwere drip lines on the wall and stains on the floor as can be seen in the pictures. The night we arrived there were men waiting outside for the ladies inside. We had to carry all our documents and valuables with us at all times.

Situated within walking distance of Sutton centre, if you are working away (which I was) this was a great place to stay. My ground floor room was basic but a good size and very clean. A very comfy double bed and a quiet neighbourhood meant that I had a very sound night's sleep. Shared kitchen facilities were good and I was able to park my van on the forecourt at the front. The price paid was very reasonable for the accommodation offered.

Room and shower room was extremely clean. Bed comfortable. Easy to find parking, if full there is permit free a couple of roads away. Location is a 10 min walk from station and town centre. Would use again as fine for a night.

People in room above came back at 4:30am and woke us up while they spent half an hour crashing around. Didn't do a breakfast as communal kitchen full of people but did get some juice, no fruit found.

The room was comfortable and had everything to enjoy our staying there. The idea of sharing spaces outside the room like the kitchen and the communal area was great and works if all guests collaborate to keep everything clean

Sharing spaces is great, but guests must contribute more to keep them clean. If they fail to do so sometimes you can find the place dirty.
