Kelly's passion for running a B&B is evident and her nature to please her guests is foremost in her mind. Nothing was too much for her or her husband Albert when it came to asking for advice about where to go or where to eat (they even helped fix a travel item). Their genuine friendliness made our stay so much more enjoyable and the daily, fresh breakfast was much appreciated. We also loved our daily afternoon catch-ups with them. Definitely recommend The Sapling as a place to relax and recharge. You guys won't be forgotten!

The beautiful, peaceful setting, lovely shower and Kelly was the perfect host. She recommended some great places to eat in the vicinity and even offered to drive us up and back to one of them so that we could both have a drink! It was lovely to have a little courtyard to sit out in and Kelly kindly told us we could move the furniture into the shade of their front garden if we wished.

We found the mattress rather hard and on informing Kelly she thanked us for our honesty and ordered a topper the same day.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful owners who made us feel very welcome. Kelly was lovely to chat to and has decorated the bedroom with style. She's utilised the space well to accommodate a small fridge and tea/ coffee making area. The outside patio area was wonderful to relax in the evenings as the weather was amazing. The dogs and cats are also super friendly, and the area outside the house is green and peaceful. It's away from the crowded tourist spots but within easy travelling distance. We had a fantastic time in the area.

Extremely clean and furnished with care and love. Very comfortable and homely. Kelly was very welcoming and helpful - even offered to pick us up some fish and chips. Even the pets are friendly. Generous continental.breakfast and fruit were provided fresh each day . Well located for short drives to Tintagel Castle, Port Isaac and Bocastle and not too far to visit Clovelly.

Everything was great. Delabole itself doesn't offer a great deal and you definitely need your own transport.

Perfect little place! So many cute little touches and clever use of space. Location is great and close to many beaches and tourist attractions of Cornwall. Kelly is such a lovely host. Nothing is too much trouble and shes so kind and helpful….it’s like visiting a friend! She also has the cutest furry friends which (to me) is an added bonus! 🐾🫶🏻

everything about this property was fabulous,small details that the owners felt we would like were put in place,continental breakfast each morning,the shower of was amazing,the bed was fabulous,very friendly couple felt as if we had always known. very clean, nothing was missing to much trouble Kelly and Al, thank you for your kindness you made our stay great

there was not one thing we didn’t like about the sapling.

I loved it here, the host was so warm and welcoming. The bed was comfy and the shower amazing. Breakfast was continental, but was lovely and filling. The property was spotless.

A little far out (i didn't have a car), but the host did offer to drive me to get some food. If you have a car it's not an issue.

Wonderful place to stay, Kelly has thought of everything and was a superb host. The tray of continental breakfast was enough to keep us going til lunchtime. The Sapling was comfortable and very welcoming and would go and stay again. On short drives there were places to eat in the evening, Kelly was very helpful in recommending where to go.

Fabulous accommodation in a small hamlet deep in the north Cornish countryside, but within easy reach of all the local highlights. Good pubs and cafe within a couple of miles. Kelly is a wonderful host who goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect and give advice on where to go and what to do. Highly recommended.

Room was beautiful, the decor was lovely and everything you needed for a short break away was in the room, Kelly filled your fridge each day with either apple juice or orange juice, fruit, and a continental breakfast and milk for the tea, coffee facilities that you had in the room.
