In these days where B&Bs are mainly just Bed, what a joy to be in such a lovely traditional B&B! Set in the peaceful countryside, this 18th century house has been modernised so well that from the inside it appears 20th century. (But if you are over 6ft 2in, ask for a bedroom with the en-suite readily accessible!) It has its own fields for dog walking, and beautifully kept gardens. The full Cornish breakfast was a real delight, as were the home-made compotes, jams and marmalades. Nicky was so welcoming, flexible and friendly. A real pleasure to stay in her lovely B&B!

The roads nearby are not walkable.

Our host Nicky made us feel very welcome, she was attentive without being intrusive with a wonderful sense of humour and cooked a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility with a lovely outlook from our room.

While our bathroom was just across the hallway, we would have preferred an ensuite. It was a little tricky to find at first but once you made note of the sign at the turn off on B3314 not a problem.

It was the most beautiful setting as we pulled up . The lady was lovely and so were her beautiful dogs 😍 She was very welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely with everything we needed , tea, coffees, hot chocolate water extra milk , I loved how we had tea cups . We had an en-suite to which had shower gel/shampoo/ conditioner. Breakfast was 10/10 full English, extra toast , tea in a teapot . The lady couldn’t do enough for us . Would highly recommend. I’ll definitely be going back .

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like , it was totally perfect

One of the best, if not the best B&B that we have stayed in. Everything was spotlessly clean. Greeted by friendly dogs and a beautiful garden on arrival. Nicky, the owner was super relaxed and made us feel at home immediately. Room was very comfortable with good wifi signal. Bathroom was huge with large fluffy towels. A true luxury with a shower cubicle and a bath tub. Breakfast was of the highest standard with plenty of choices to choose from. As we only stayed for 2 nights, we didn't get to try all there was on offer for cooked breakfast. Great fresh coffee too. Location wise, it was very easy to find and it was convenient to drive to the surrounding areas.

Absolutely none at all. Our only regret is perhaps not staying long enough.

The breakfast was excellent. The room was lovely, had comfortable beds and a nice modern shower just over the corridor. The windows looked out over a beautiful garden. It was very quiet at night as the B&B is situated on a not so busy sidestreet. Nicky was very friendly an extremely helpful and we could always reach her when we needed assistance. It was a perfect stay and we highly recommend it to other travellers.

This B&B is in a really beautiful setting. The room was lovely, great facilities and Nikki was simply fabulous...and her delightful Mum. The breakfast was super yummy and set us up for the day ahead. Very dog friendly too which was a bonus. If we ever have a break to Cornwall again we would definitely return. Cannot recommend enough.

Nothing, everything was fabulous

Nicky was a super host friendly easy to talk to and had in-depth knowledge of the area. The bungalow had everything we needed for our holiday. The property was very clean and comfortable throughout. The location is very peaceful and relaxing

This is such a cute B&B, lovely grounds and easy access to Wadebridge, The Rock beach and Padstow. This is a dog friendly property but it is SO clean, you’d never know any other pets had ever been there. Nicky was a great host, couldn’t do enough, breakfast was delicious and we would definitely stay again when in the area.

Everything Amazing Bed Amazing Breakfast what more could you want. Nicky is an fantastic host and nothing is too much. The property and grounds are exceptional. Breakfast is faultless fresh produce award winning if you ask us. We cannot wait to return with our little dachshund.

Everything was excellent and very tasteful. Breakfast - locally sourced eco friendly products. Bed unbelievably comfortable. Most of all Nicky, the host was so welcoming and interesting. Best b&b I have been to.

I cannot think of a thing. So much thought in all the details - even home knitted cosies for teapot and boiled eggs!
