As my husband and I had never stayed in Wadebridge, we wanted to visit and have a wander around. The Molesworth Arms is a fantastic, historical coaching inn the history of which should be made more of. Wadebridge is a thriving town with local, independent businesses selling fabulous products from the area. Huraah!! The cocktails and Proper Job beer, are top notch! The inn is very old and I think the owners have done a fabulous job of renovating it as it cannot have been easy. A special mention to Claire who was so helpful and the lady serving breakfast was smashing. Thank you!

The painfully, loud, unpleasant language from some of the other guests. This was nothing to do with the accommodation though...

The double room exceeded our expectations, the bed was very comfortable and a great powerful shower. The decor was amazing. The room was exceptional, very clean and roomy. We also had breakfast which was lovely. On the 1st night of our stay we also booked dinner in the restaurant. The fish dish, I can honestly say was the best fish dish I have ever had anyway. All the staff went over and above. A totally exceptional place to stay and I would highly recommend.

There was nothing not to like. Everything was exceptional.

Had a wonderful stay with our family at the Molesworth Arms and a very warm welcome even though we arrived late in the evening. All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We travelled for a family event in the area and the shuttle bus was a great service. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though a tad on the small side. A very comfortable couple of nights' sleep and a good breakfast too. Thank you so much for a great stay; if we are ever back in the area we will stay again.

Great central location but with a relaxed feel. Staff were all friendly, helpful and attentive. All meals were of an excellent standard and the service was faultless too! Clean and comfortable rooms.

A couple of very minor points. The shower hose/head showed signs of rusting and wear which could easily be replaced. It would be good to have some hooks to hang wet coats, either on the back of a door or there was wall space next to the wardrobe which could have been used.

The location of this property was excellent. It was centrally located right in the center of Wadebridge. The man at reception was quite friendly and attended to us promptly, showing us to our room and where to park. The room was quite clean, and had everything we needed for a one night stay. The restaurant on site was also quite good and very convenient.

The property itself is a bit quirky with lots of interesting staircases and little corridors, but it didn't take anything away from the stay - we just had to make sure we knew where we were going. Also, there was a tiny step down into the bathroom in our room, so it's something to be aware of at night :)

My cousins and I loved the bohemian, upbeat, and fresh decorating which nonetheless retained the traditional charm of an old inn. It was grand being able to have a lovely dinner in the dining room. The roast beef dinner was superb! The staff was ever so kind and accommodating.

Sometimes the bedside lamp switches were difficult to find, and there were multiple levels of stairs to climb. The rope banister was not very stable if you needed to catch your fall.

Everything! The location was excellent, the room comfy and clean, tea/coffee tray well stocked (including bottled water), the restaurant was very good with super quick service, and the staff friendly and helpful. Just put a full length mirror and some coat hooks in the room, and you'd have the perfect hotel!!

No full length mirror or hooks on the back of the bathroom door; also, a mini fridge would be nice but not essential.

Very friendly staff and happy to help with everything we needed. The food is really nice and excellent value. The hotel offers a shuttle /taxi service which was very handy transporting our friends home who came to the hotel for dinner. The upstairs rooms are chic and the huge bed was lush !! Breakfast was served till 10am so no need to get up at the crack of dawn.

The fact we had to go back to work😢

We didn't arrive until quite late and as the parking is limited and on a first come firs served basis (understandable) as a result the car park was full, I wasn't keen on parking too far away as i had valuables in my van, one of the staff members said the manager/owner would be leaving soon and went to speak to him, he came out and kindly moved his van so i could have the space, needless to say the staff couldn't have been more helpful even when being showing to the room the guy was super friendly and took the time to ask where we'd traveled from etc. The bar area itself had a lovely atmosphere and we would definitely stay there again. The room was cosy with ample amenities, TV, hair dryer, kettle etc and the bed was ridiculously comfy.
