Good room, excellent bed. Good wifi. Good plumbing. Great staff. Ample parking. Free late cancellation option.

Not at all impressed that despite 2 confirm emails from Booking.com about my booking extension dates, the venue had not been informed!? Thank goodness there were so accommodating. Noisy guests at 2am checking in 2 nights in a row. Where are thee people brought up? Toby Cavery totally unswrstaffed but food and bar were good. Wish it hadn't closed so early each evening.Maybe add a web cam feed of the lake in the lobby given so many rowers oribably stay there?

Very comfortable rooms, although the window did not open enough to create good airflow on a warm night. Inventive use of the washroom door. Very helpful and friendly staff. Enjoyable breakfast.

The parking lot is large and had plenty of room for guests' vehicles. You must register your vehicle not only with the front desk, but on the iPad at the registration desk. We were unaware of registering the vehicle on the iPad and subsequently received a parking violation notice. The hotel was quite helpful in resolving the violation notice in our favor. Rooms get warm at night if you have the blackout curtains closed since they block airflow. Rooms stay very bright at night without the blackout curtains closed. If you visit over warm days, bring a sleep mask, or a portable fan.

Great location to meet my partner when we can tie in work schedules together everything close by if we needed for work or family. room was excellent. comfortable clean and shower room ideal facilities for my restricted movement and limited mobility. All friendly staff pleasant manner and good humoured. accommodated late checkout request as well. Missed breakfast 😭 but smell was amazing. Definitely recommend and will stay again.

Only issue was everything had to be paid by card and i’d lifted money out account before realised. Other than that no issues.

I just recently stayed here for a night with a family member, we both had a great experience. The hotel is fresh, clean and nicely decorated. The check in process was smooth and the room size and facilities were adequate. We had a lovely lady dealing with us most of our stay I’m sure was Amy and she was so helpful and friendly going above and beyond to make sure we were happy! We ate at Toby Carvery which being next door is a massive bonus. I was unaware the check out was 12pm so that was a massive bonus for me and meant we could take our time after breakfast before check out.

The TV only had 4 working channels so it would be amazing to have freeview

Breakfast was tasty. Room was clean. I liked how you could get some complimentary bits such as toothpaste if you'd forgotten it. I liked that you supplied shampoo etc. The windows opened which allowed fresh air. Good blackout curtains. Iron & hairdryer in room

There was no one on reception when we checked out. We didn't speak to any staff other than checking in. I'd have liked a fried egg. Lifts are a bit small which I think someone with a wheelchair would struggle with. I'd have preferred different pillows.

It was a good location, near to Glasgow but with lovely surroundings. It was very good value, bed was comfortable, you had some control over heating, the room was a reasonable size, friendly staff and lots of parking.

£25 is the highest price I have ever paid for a dog, especially as they didn't provide any extra facilities. Where you had to eat with your dog didn't have dining tables and chairs - there were low level chairs and coffee tables - not very appropriate to eating with a knife and fork. They are also a bit mean with the teabags on the hospitality tray - 2 per night!

Excellent breakfast. Good selection of food

We were travelling with our dog and booked a dog friendly room. Email confirmation from hotel confirmed that that the additional charge for the dog was £10 per night. Which is fine and very fair. However, on check in the Receptionist tried to charge me £25 as the rules "had changed!" When I produced email she honoured the £10. So from now on I wouldnt book a one night stay as £25 for one night is extortionate. We only paid £72 for a double room with breakfast. The £25 charge is per stay, not per night which is reasonable if its not a one night booking. I think this needs looking at and maybe changed to, for example, £15 for one night or £25 per stay.

Room is of a very high standard with all facilities needed. Access to bedrooms was by lift and corridors are clear and easily accessible. The breakfast was more than adequate with a good selection for both continental and English food. We used the restaurant and found a good selection on the menu to suit most tastes. Parking is well catered for and adjacent to the hotel entrance. Staff were helpful and friendly.

There were no negative aspects to warrant complaints.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and particularly the little sofa. As we had two dogs, it was good to be able to get outside very easily. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very nice. Breakfast was good and very easy to assemble. Even the coffee machine was user friendly. Very convenient for great dog walking in the Strathclyde Country Park. We had come for a funeral at the Daldowie crematorium and even at 9am, we were there in 10 minutes.

The only issue was that people in a nearby room talked very loudly long after we went to bed at 10.30. Kept me awake for hours. Such a shame as there is very little road noise which was excellent.

Hi I asked for a twin room with sofa bed for 1 extra adult. There was a double bed with a double sofa bed which didn’t matter as there was only 2 of us which I did phone the hotel canceling the sofa bed 3 days prior to arriving . The only problem the sofa bed when down was longer than the original bed and to get passed the bed to the bathroom there was only a 6” gap which we struggled in between a fixed mirror on angled wall which was dangerous, during the night going to the bathroom we had to leave bathroom light on for safety reasons so we didn’t get a good nights sleep.

Obviously the extra long sofa bed which was very comfortable but I did ask for a twin. They did ask if we wanted to move upstairs to a twin but it was not feasible as I had the dog. (No dogs allowed upstairs) the breakfast was ok but had to keep asking for top up on cereal extra as there had been 2 bus coaches in and totally cleared everything including fruit.
