The rooms were tidy and quiet, we all slept very well. There were some problems with the card to one of the rooms, but otherwise everything was great. The food was fantastic - not only for meat lovers. Also the prawn cocktail was simply great. The beer was great too. And as we needed to leave earlier, the hotel was very customer friendly and refunded the second night. Great hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks, we felt very welcome! Easy parking with all the parking spaces directly at the hotel. Good feeling that you can only get to the rooms with a room card. Good to get into Glasgow if you're travelling by car. Would definitely recommend!

The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment was the location... it's very near to the motorway but otherwise sadly not much to see. But that's not the hotel's fault.

Car Parking was a pain, having to remember to enter your REG NO, to avoid a £100 fine. I have stayed in this Hotel for past 8 years (except for last year when it was closed for refurb), I didn't have to do the car park registration before, I didn't do the car park registration on the 1st night of arrival and received the fine, thankfully the Hotel have cancelled this, but this added unneeded worry on our stay. The Carvery in the past has always been good but this year it didn't live up to expectations.

For what you imagine to be fairly basic, this exceeded expectations, the room was beautifully decorated, lots of attention to detail and immaculate. Everything was designed with comfort and useability in mind. The bathroom was bright, clean and well appointed. The restaurant and bar were busy but we were accommodated the food is good, its a carvery so not heavy on the vegetarian options but there were some great offerings. Staff are efficient and friendly. Really really good stay overall.

Nothing, to be honest. It is what it says it is, a carvery on a motorway with guest rooms, but it actually is far better than that. From arrival to departure it all worked beautifully.

The location is super handy, situated close to the M74. Ideally for people traveling into Glasgow or surrounding areas. There’s a gorgeous Loch behind the hotel which is handy if you fancy a walk or a run. The room was extremely clean and decorated to a high standard. The Toby Carvery was amazing as well so you don’t really need to leave the site once you’re there if you’re only staying overnight for work like I was. Will 100% be staying again next time I’m in Scotland - really pleased I came across this place.

Can’t really fault anything other than that the shower gel was virtually empty and I asked at the bar/reception for some which they said they’d come and sort but never did. Thankfully I had a little travel one buried in my wash bag.

Very spacious and modernised room. Excellent Bathroom facilities, access to plug sockets and lots of lighting options. Breakfast wasn’t included but we paid extra for it and it was amazing!

Smoke alarm in our room was extremely sensitive and randomly went off at 6:15am. Obviously woke us up and disturbed our sleep which was annoying. Went off again when my partner used the shower. Also the noise outside could be clearly heard from our room which did disturb us a bit. Other than that, nothing particularly negative to say.

Staff excellent and really polite and helpful. Room clean and comfortable and good size. Ample tea/coffee in room. Shampoo, soap and hairdryer supplied. Free parking. Close to Glasgow by car, also train station within walking distance. Free Wi-Fi. Breakfast on Saturday was good and reasonably priced.

Breakfast on Sunday wasn’t available at advertised time of 7am. Restaurant didn’t open until 7:20am which was too late for us. Restaurant also closed by 8:30/9pm in evening so had to drive elsewhere for food.

The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you. There was a problem with the drains during my first night's stay, it was rectified whilst I was at work and never an issue again for the rest of my time there.

There was a carvery half price promotion on during my stay , great for saving money but on one night the meats ran out and customers ended up waiting for approx an hour for more to be cooked. Maybe just an oversight but heavy demand should possibly have been predicted as it was the third night of the promotion.

The rooms are absolutely spotless, they are modern, comfortable, and the housekeeping staff are doing a fantastic job. Access to the rooms is easy. it’s in a great spot for stopping over, or if going to the park beside it. nice atmosphere and the dinners looked great, didn’t have food here but I know Toby carvery dinners are usually good.

breakfast is fine, there’s a good supply of back. sausage etc. I’m just a bit snobby as I like continental meats and cheeses. But other than that it’s perfect for a good hot Breakie on a short break.

Booked very last minute (arrived within an hour) but check-in was still quick and pleasant. The room was spacious, clean and decorated well. I thought the pictures of a local landmark were a nice touch. It was also pretty quiet despite being right next to a busy roundabout. The bathroom was clean and lovely too and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were really friendly.

My one small negative was that the shower was a couple of degrees too cool for me but that's personal preference.

The staff in reception and the pub were very welcoming and helpful throughout our two night stay. The room was very cosy, clean and the bed comfortable. We slept like logs. The housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. It was situated close to the motorway about 20 mins away from Glasgow. Great parking. I would stay here again 100% as it was a good base.

No coat hook on disabled toilet door to use. Bit dark in room 7, so had to use lights in the day.
