Very clean facilities

Wi-Fi not great in room

Found the hotel to be very comfortable, everything you need around, set in a good location, plenty of parking. the hotel itself has a really good old fashioned style/character, we enjoyed staying in it. Staff were very helpful and friendly always happy to help an ideal stop over if your travelling.

It’s an old building so don’t expect to much in the way of sound proofing, you will hear some noise early evening/ late morning, breakfast is buffet style so if you like a nice fresh breakfast get down there early for fresh pickings or you may have rubber bacon ect All in all a good hotel Iwould stay again 👀👍

Lovely bedroom. Nice bath robe supplied and toiletries. Suffice t coffee and tea in room. Nice bedding.

Breakfast was not good. I wish I had not wasted money purchasing it. I have a dislike of buffet breakfasts. Morning 1 there was insufficient supply of a cooked breakfast. Many was not replenished possibly because there was a bus tour of guests who had breakfast early and possibly ate most of what was available. Morning 2 - very little fruit available. Eggs were like rubber as they were on the hot plate for some time. Very disappointing and it spoiled an otherwise lovely stay.

Staff were lovely. The food in the restaurant was very nice. Shared areas were lovely

Our room (room 8) was really tired. Bathroom was really the worst part. Black mouldy sealant all round the bathroom. Looked grubby. Aparently it was a jet bath but I'd never have bathed in that. Also huge water stain on the ceiling where upstairs had leaked through. Bed comfy enough but the worst throw pillows that really cheapen the place. Lights in room were so poor. But... The bathroom lights were awesome. Walking through the outside hall was the noisiest experience and really needs addressed. Staff walked RIGHT past our window.... and looked in.

Good location, parking, room size and facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Great bar and restaurant. Generally very quiet especially if staying at the rear of the Priory where we stayed.

A few issues with maintenance, the windows in one of our rooms didn't seal properly when closed so the traffic noise from the road was quite loud. Soap dispenser had not been changed for a long time as it was going mouldy, both teaspoons provided for tea/coffee had not been replaced with clean ones and were coated in congealed hot chocolate. Breakfast was poor as the food was kept warm in some sort of steamer, consequently all the eggs were hard, the hash browns were soggy and falling apart so not the best sadly.

Our room was beautiful! Everything was so nice and the bed was so very comfortable. We arrived at the Avonbridge Hotel late and very tired. We were greeted by a very friendly host who took us to our room. After an excellent night sleep, we went to their breakfast room and it was beautiful! The breakfast was a buffet style, all you can eat, English Breakfast. Everything was delicious!

Can't think of anything that we did not like about the Avonbridge Hotel.

From arriving on the 20th till we left today the 22nd the staff and Jane in particular could not have been more friendly and helpful. The dining room and housekeeping staff were also very friendly. In the dining room yesterday morning the waitress found money which one of our party had dropped on the chair and she had it put in an envelope with our name on it and called to me when she saw me pass through the reception area- a very honest person!! We had a meal for 12 (including 2 children) booked for last night and it was exceptional-Waiting staff on last night were again of a very high standard.

A couple of lights in our room were not working but we forgot to mention

Room was nice and big, bed was comfortable, kettle, iron and mini fridge in the room and windows that actually open. Location is close to town centre 10 minutes walk to train station and close to motorway for cars too.

Only problem we had was not being able to connect to the WiFi but I'm sure had we been bothered enough to go to reception about it it would have been sorted for us

We had three nights stay Sunday to Wednesday, our room was in the Kirkland's annex short walk to hotel ,our room was a good size, towels and linen was snow white. Our room was very peaceful, but with being start of the week the hotel was not over full We ate in the Fico restaurant on two nights and had a good meal on both occasions. The Staff where all very helpful, i would recommended as good value for money, we also found the bar prices to be very reasonable.

Breakfast was quite good buffet style but with us not getting down till 8.45 a little over cooked, having been stood from 7.15,but plenty of choice.

Room in an annexe near hotel, spacious and clean. Plentiful parking available. Choice of eateries restaurant in the hotel and an Italian bistro/bar also in the building which does nice pizza/pasta. Bus stop outside and bus into town every 10 mins. Taxi to races was £6 Hamilton has most of what you need for a weekend pubs/restaurants etc.

Shower isn’t good for anyone over 5ft 6 but it’s manageable. Buffet breakfast on final morning was disappointing, eggs over cooked and other ingredients sausage\bacon etc all dried up. Left most of it.
