The young man on reception duty made our stay very pleasurable - he was polite and professional and very personable even though we arrived very late at night - he also had the same demeanor first thing in the morning despite him being on duty all night - very impressive. The room was clean and extra pillows were available in the room without having to ask for them. The temperature in the room was perfect, and the bed was comfortable.

The complimentary refreshments appeared to us to be a bit 'sparce' one sugar, 1 coffee... 1 tea bag 1 milk per person.

really convenient location and close to amenities. the room was a clean place to rest and break up a long journey. the receptionist on check on was an absolute delight; so warm friendly and kind.

the doors at least to rooms on the floor/corridor I was on seem to only close if slammed shut (even when taking care to be careful and quiet) which if you’re a light sleeper is not great. this was worsened by loud inconsiderate people which is no fault of the hotel but really there is little to no sound proofing between rooms. our neighbours were so loud it was as though they were in the same room as us.

The girl at reception was just so nice friendly helpful. Gave me ground floor when I asked. The wee shop and Mc donalds was great. The room although a bit worn was immaculate the heating system was great Iam not complaining about the wear in the room the price reflected that and Iam happy with that. I will definitely stay again for sure. I really had a lovely relaxed night. With my Granddaughter

Nothing all well for what I paid I was very happy. Although I wouldn’t pay any more for a night I was hoping to book 2 nights for a bigger room to bring my other grand daughters but it was to dear

the bed was very comfortable! We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room too. The lady at the front desk was so welcoming and really nice. We have stayed twice, and will be returning (we visit friends in Glasgow once a month). The hotel is budget friendly, so naturally our expectations were realistic, but we were pleasantly surprised how comfortable and welcoming this hotel was and our stay there exceeded our expectations. highly recommend.

nothing to improve at all, our stay exceeded our expectations. some people may say the hotel may be needing a bit of refurbishment, however, we find the hotel charming and and comfortable regardless of the decor.

Rosie was on reception and was an excellent help with how to get to different food outlets. The shower, although over the bath, was adjustable, powerful, and hot. Heating was easy to use as it was the coldest night with snow and heavy frost. All you can ask for. Very handy stop on the M74 and you couldn't hear the road despite not going far off the beaton track.

It needs decoration, and a shower cubical would be preferred. However, I have had less adequate showers in beautifully decorated rooms with walk-in showers.

The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The lady at reception was incredibly helpful and very jolly. The bathroom was also excellent with a great shower.

Because of the location, I expected some noise but there seemed to be a problem with the door closers!. I initially thought that it was simply down to noisy neighbours but it was impossible to close the door quietly unless you eased it shut. As there were lots of comings and goings, it turned out to be a noisy evening. I also did not realise that McDonalds was my only hot food option (Costa seemed closed), and I am not a fan.

The welcome and assistance to get me a ground floor room. Facilities were very acceptable. Although on the motorway it was quiet.

The window wouldn't stay open (room 11). I tripped and spilled a mug of tea on the bed tried to explain what happened to reception or housekeeping but couldn't find anyone. I left a note to explain as I felt dreadful about it. My car did not register on the car parking system although check in tried to find it three times.

An effective and efficient receptionist. Came over as genuine and polite. A good welcome received. The bedding was clean. The bed I slept in was nicely firm; the other bed did not seem quite as firm. The room heater worked effectively. The hot water arrived quickly and was hot. High level of cleanliness of bathroom and room. Well done by the cleaners. Parking was available and close. There was a feeling of security.

1 wondered about the cleaning product used on the wood table and bedside table. The wood felt sticky. Warm water with a spot of ecover type detergent would do just as well, probably at less cost. When redecoration schedule allows, an off white paint or white with a hint of another tone would make the room seem less utilitarian. Yet having driven for so long, utilitarian was absolutely acceptable. The door to the room was functional; it had been repaired and was safe, but seemed slightly antiquated.

Basic room but clean and well worth £44 per night for 3 of us. Located near lorry parking so may be noisy in the morning when drivers start to drive but didn't bother us. There was a TV, hairdryer, kettle, teaand coffe, clean towels and bedding in the room. There is a Spar on the petrol station next to it, Costa coffee, McDonald and WHSmith next to the hotel. Big, free car park and plenty space for walking dogs.

Could be a problem if you do not have car as the hotel located outside of Hamilton

Clean friendly 24/7 reception. Spacious clean airy en-suite (all with baths) rooms. Seemed fresh I.e. walls recently painted perhaps; fresh modern grey/blackout curtains; sweet fresh grey wall lampshades; excellent beds, pillows, duvets; all white sheets, cases and duvets & bathroom towels also seemed fresh/new. Pet friendly. Family loved their stay so much we extended it.

En-suite was ok but I know how it could be better. (TIP: The tiles and ceiling would benefit from a thorough application of Dettol mould and mildew spray. ( I have used this brand and know it works best if left on for at least 30 mins first application)). Thanks.
