comfy beds, great food. room was lovely if it had the basics and had been cleaned. staff were attentive in the restaurant.
room was missing the basic. furniture was dusty so clearly hadn’t been cleaned. by basic I mean had to ask for toilet rolls, no shower gel, one cup which was dirty this morning for my coffee. no spoons. no glasses in bathroom. asked for the bill, told we had paid, we hadn’t then all the staff left so was just left till I asked again. ice in whiskey not told to do so could have replaced it but that is pretty basic.

Friendly staff. Quiet and comfy hotel. Lovely building and we had a delicious meal in the restaurant downstairs. It was also very convenient for the motorway, but also for a quick train into Glasgow Central.
The TV wasn't working which was a bit annoying but we did get some money off the bill as a result.

Big room for the price for 1 night stay, Fast wifi and not much noise from other guests or from the main road
Couldnt park van in carpark due to poor parking by other drivers, so ended up parking van on main road. No idea what do in in an emergency, as there was nothing in the room to say anything
