The staff at the hotel were both friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves were spacious and the beds were comfortable. A variety of breakfast cereals were provided, along with tea, coffee, and milk. Additionally, the mini fridge in the room worked exceptionally well. The hotel is also conveniently located.

I didn't have many complaints about the place overall. It was generally clean, but some areas, especially around the furniture, could have been cleaner. My only other issue was that they only provided one small water bottle, which wouldn't have been enough for two people. Additionally, connecting to the wifi can be a bit tricky, so it's helpful to have someone assist you with that. The hotel has a small kitchen which I didn't find out about until later, and I wish I had known earlier so that I could have used the washing machine. They have a bar downstairs, but they do not sell food. However, there are plenty of restaurants located around the hotel.

This cute and tidy little pub in Gordon Hill lies a stone's throw from Chase Farm Hospital and makes a perfect waystation for those with morning procedures who don't want the hassle of day-of commuting (in my case, from central London). The pub dining/drinking area is large and well lit with 2 TVs and a perfect place to recap/reread admissions papers and ensure all in order for the following day. A bus -- the W8 -- goes from the pub directly to the hospital meaning literally within the grounds, to all of the day units proper. As for the lovely hotel rooms, they ate just that: spic-and-span clean with cozy heat and piping hot water and a welcome  area with breakfast goodies and late-night snacks for the taking, and unlike many small pubs and inns the Six Bells gives you extra tea and coffee so you don't have to ring down if you want a second cuppa. The staff was helpful and friendly on my visit, so much so that I intend to visit them on my own day trip meaning for an evening drink/football game only -- they are 38 minutes from Moorgate followed by a quick and all-downhill walk from the station. So its five stars for the six bells in my mind!

There is nothing not to like (if you like warm and convivial pubs).

This was a bed only reservation. However, mini cereal boxes, a long life skimmed milk carton and plentiful tea/coffee/capri sun/water provided which was a lovely touch. The accommodation was very convenient for 'out of towners' visiting patients in the Chase Farm Hospital (as was my situation), just a short bus ride (3 stops+/-) and/or short walk away. They made excellent recommendations for evening meals and offered a communal kitchen facility with crockery and cutlery, reheating things etc (which I didn't get to use).

There were very limited toiletries and no hairdryer. I had flown in and assumed (ass, u & me) that shampoo etc would be in the bathroom. It wasn't. There was hand soap and some left her shower gel. But there were shops near by so it was not much bother to buy what I needed.

This was a Beautifully refurbished room with a gorgeous power shower and bathroom located within a cute cosy little pub. staff were super friendly and really accommodating too ! The walls in the rooms arnt thin either meaning although you were within a pub it really didn't feel like it ! We were left a variety of confectionery breakfast cereals and not drinks in our room too and the TV had access to prime and Netflix which is a bargin ! Overall very very pleased with out stay here and would highly recommend!

Friendly staff, fridge in room, added bonus having breakfast cereals in room, room a decent size, modern decor, plenty of sockets incl. USB ports

We were staying in a mezzanine-style room and there was a large bright light on the stairs that went on repeatedly during the night every time we moved a foot in bed! Basically it was going on and off all night long! Understand it's probably a safety issue so you don't fall down stairs in night but sensor needs adjusting! Walls were paper thin so could hear the people in room next to us very clearly.

This is my third time staying here, so they must be doing something right. I got the top room, with the roof terrace. When I had this room in the summer, I was able to eat out there evening and morning, and it effectively doubled the size of the room. This time round it was the coldest week of the year, so the room's actually a bit small without that space! But a fine room, with a working Smart TV with iPlayer and Netflix, so all good. There's also free parking on the street outside which is very convenient.

No complaints.

The barman was friendly and kind and accommodated me with a fan when I said it was a bit hot being in the loft room, after which the temperature fell. Really loved the facilities like the snack tray with drinks, biscuits and water, and proper milk for our tea and coffee, rather than powdered. And the best thing was the mini fridge, perfect, for left overs which saved food and the planet :)

The room size was small, and booking.com didn't show me the size or pics of it, they had generic ones, however, I found out that was there only one available at the time anyway. I think the 10 am checkout should be 12 pm, even though I left earlier it was because I didn't want to sleep through the alarm in case I missed it,

Comfortable bed. My first floor, road side, room, at the weekend, was very quiet at night, considering it was above a pub, on a main road. The area was good, I felt safe as a solo traveler, and there are good transport links. You dont have to go through the pub to get to the rooms: there is a entryway through the courtyard. Several places to eat nearby: the indian restaurant opposite was good; there are several small shops close by that open late, where you can get some basics; the Holtwhite bakery has some delicious breads and pastries. The pub itself seems like a friendly local.

The hotel feels more geared towards contractors than tourists, so its pretty basic : there isnt a proper mirror in the room or bathroom. No hairdryer. Soap was provided but no shampoo. The shower tray badly needs a shower mat - it's very slippery, and the shower hose has split and needs replacing. Cleaning in the room was ok, but in the bathroom was a bit hit & miss: eg the shower door was not cleaned. I would not want to use the shared kitchen: it was grubby and uninviting (even after the cleaner had just finished, the worktop was very greasy and smeared, and the sink was dirty)

Overall experience was positive. The room we had was a very good size. The bathroom was big and clean. Little things ned to be changed, eg, the shower head, which needs replacing. Areas that need re decorating. Having a fridge in the room and selection of cerals was very helpful.

The room was hot, and the fan provided was not Helpful The bed was small, my 7 year old and my self shared a bed. This was not ideal. I didn't say anything as I thought it would've been OK, but it wasn't. The bed was also uncomfortable. I found it hard for my liking.

Although there were room cereals tea and coffee provided we didn’t use them. The shower, in our room was very large with lots of hot water. The bed was comfortable. If there was a criticism the room and shower room were quite cold and we couldn’t get the radiators working. No car park but plenty of free on-street parking. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The room was a bit cold - could get the radiators on. Our front facing room was a bit noisy but had a good night’s sleep.
