Found a gem. New hotel, super clean, super friendly & free parking.

The room was great - very comfortable - and the location near the central line is very handy.

They’d only just opened when I stayed and they didn’t quite have the kitchen up and running, so I went out for breakfast. It wasn’t a problem, though, and they said the kitchen would be ready very soon.

Fantastic stay, felt very cosy and homely. Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Will definitely return and stay here again! ☺️

Would have liked a long mirror and iron in the bedroom to get ready, otherwise very lovely room for a short stay

very modern, clean, comfortable and the location was great! The staff were very helpful and polite and even offered to take my bags to my room.

although they provided an ironing boards and iron when asked (and all you have to do is ask) they didn’t have tea/coffee making facilities in the room as they have a tea room downstairs which is fine sand all in working order and clean but when you want a hot drink in the evening or first thing in the morning, a kettle in the room would be helpful. Also larger bath towels as I think the size of the towels may be a problem for taller/larger people.

Very nice and welcoming. Lovely area. Place was clean Basic amenities but we didn't need anything there was a lovely room to make tea and coffee and to have a seat. Iron if needed, bit we didn't. Myself and my daughter were going to a concert in Stratford and arrived at the hotel very early. We were intending to drop our bags off and check in later that evening, but luckily our room was ready, so we were able to check in, drop our bags to the room and make our way out again. Thankyou for a very pleasant stay.

Friendly staff. Tea/coffee/access to a microwave/access to a fridge/comfortable seating in the communal area/patio with chairs etc. Everywhere was very clean. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends.

No charging points for my phone though staff at reception gave me a plug to use in my room. No shelf in the bathroom. No bedside light. Only one hanger in the wardrobe - but I'm sure staff would have given me more if I had asked.

Very clean hotel both inside the room and in the corridors, no traces of dirt, dust or bad smells. Small but well maintained and clean bathroom. I had the impression that the furniture was new or in any case recent. The room was well heated and comfortable. The beds in the room were also well cleaned and comfortable. The hotel is located in a suburban but quiet area, no problem returning at night and no disturbances during sleep. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from Woodford tube station, on the central line, a simple navigator on the mobile phone is enough to reach it. The staff is friendly, for any problem is always available. My friends also had a very positive impression, I will definitely come back to the Woodford Hotel on my next trips to London.

The best thing about Woodford Hotel is the staff, they are incredibly kind and helpful, anything you need, they sort it out quickly and efficiently. It's a nice place for passing by, we just stayed for a night, but it's not bad if you need to go to central London from there during a longer vacation. The room was large and comfortable for 3 people, although overall the room and facilities are quite basic.

We expected to have a private shower and toilet, but maybe we saw the description wrong or it wasn't very clear, but it's ok for just a night stop over.

The main staff member (older man) was really nice and welcoming. Provided me with an iron and ironing board non arrival as requested. The room was warm, and clean. Really cosy. Complementary tea and coffee was good on the ground floor.

Mattress wasn't great. Very uncomfortable. Bad smell coming from bathroom. Could do with a bit of bleach down the sink and bath plugholes. Why wasn't there a long mirror in the room? There was enough wall space. The mirror in the bathroom was not adequate to see how I looked before going to work.

Modern room with it's own en-suite. Was really handy having 3 beds in the room as we were travelling as a group and it was much more cost effective than having 2 rooms. Staff were friendly and free parking. Close walk to South Woodford station which was handy as we were commuting into London.

As mentioned to the staff during our visit a long mirror in the room would have been nice as the only mirror was the one in the en-suite which was a bit limited for 3 people getting ready for a night out! Was the only feedback I had though, was a brilliant stay!
