I almost don’t want to review this place because I want to keep it a secret gem but honestly the stay was lovely, bed was big, room was spacious, had a lovely modern bathroom with shower and tub and had a patio overlooking the golf course. Breakfast was a small beautiful walk away and that was overlooking the views too. I arrived late check in guy was super friendly. So happy overall and the value for money way excellent it made it that much sweeter.

Veggie breakfast the veggie burger/ sausage could be improved by just getting some quorn/ Linda McCartney sausages and a better veggie burger. But nonetheless glad they had a proper veggie breakfast option.

Second stay at this hotel. Room was very nice with sofa, table and chairs plus very comfy bed. Shower pressure was very good and the bathroom was in good decorative order. Bedroom was very clean and very nicely decorated. Room would work well if I needed to work whilst there and was large enough for an extended stay. Tea/coffee etc in the room and shampoo/shower wash provided which are nice touches . Cooked Breakfast generous although no continental on offer - just off the breakfast menu. Room overlooked car park so although no view it was still very quiet even with the window open (I didn’t need the air con).

We arrived at 2am after a cancelled flight. Night porter very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful location. Pleasant bedrooms with comfortable beds

Couldn't reach the night porter by phone though when you ring the answer phone gives you that option. This made it very stressful to arrive at 2am in case we could not be let in. We were travelling with a small child and had had a very traumatic day and this added to the stress Perhaps a shower cap would have been good. Couldn't find a hairdryer but too exhausted to search so it might have been there somewhere

I ended up here by chance… my flight got canceled and all the hotels at Gatwick and surroundings were fully booked so I found this one on booking and arrived very late at night. The hotel was stunning, the bed extremely comfortable and Thomas at the reception made my day! When I woke up the next day I found up I had slept in the middle of a golf club lol I had breakfast on a sunny terrace and walked around the little forest. I wish I play golf so I could go back here! Simply amazing, peaceful and beautiful place!

Great view of golf course from comfy room with a quality finish. Great shower, usual extras and fridge in room. Air conditioning if hot but as a bit noisy we switched it off. Wasn't too hot the night we were there. Great full Englsh breakfast cooked to order and outdoor patio available. No cold option breakfast buffet but it probably varies with how many staying.

All good. Room was great for price but not large and obviously it is 12 years old now, but kept really well. Great for golfers too!

Everything was wonderful once my mother was eventually allocated a ground floor room as requested and agreed upon during booking. The breakfast is very tasty and the views are beautiful.

The mix up with room allocation when we arrived, my Mother needed a ground floor room due to mobility, this was all agreed during the booking process but no record of it on arrival, however things were swiftly sorted out to our satisfaction, and staff were most kind, apologetic and respectful.

Quiet and peaceful location; rooms nicely decorated and clean; breakfast in the bar was very good ; employees helpful and polite; car park secure; opening windows and also air con. Lovely view out over the green (2nd floor room).

We found the ‘perfume’ in the room a bit overpowering (not unpleasant just strong) - possibly from the fabric conditioner on the sheets, but it’s a personal preference thing and wouldn’t stop us staying again.

Staff were excellent and so helpful, the room was in lovely condition with everything you would need for a perfect night stay I would definitely recommend anyone visiting the are should book a stay here as its a fantastic place.

I like everything and have no complaints at all, but if you wanted me to be super critical, I had a full English breakfast which was well cooked and tasted great, there just wan't enough of it,..... but there again I perhaps should of asked for more.

Trying to dress for a wedding out of holdvalls and suitcases in the changing rooms when you've deliberately explained why your booking a 4 star room. Thank you for the hospitality of your beautiful hotel. I hesitate to put a public review online regarding our stay, as the night before I had called the hotel to explain that myself and my partner needed to arrive between 11.30 and 12pm in order to get dressed for a local wedding. Yet when we arrived after 1200 we were told our room wasn't ready and we were only offered separate golfers changing rooms to get ready. This throughly frustrated us and ruined our initial experience, as we were assured the night before it wouldn't be a problem.  I hope this is a one off issue and does not happen often. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff, both on arrival and departure. Great room, clean and well equipped with fantastic shower and amenities. Used clubhouse for evening meal which had reasonable choice from bar menu at fair price. We had the entire clubhouse to ourselves which was great! Breakfast next morning was very good and of high quality.

My only criticism, and it's a minor one, would be the evening bar staff. Not very proactive in offering or setting a table. The table we did use was dirty from previous use. Had to ask for condiments. Never checked if food was okay (Luckily it was). Both young lads were more pre occupied with their mobile devices, sadly a common observation in today's tech obsessed World.
