Beautiful position right in the middle of the Yorkshire countryside. The breakfast is just fantastic as were the pub stand in landlord. We could not fault this at all.

In this day and age the wifi was very poor indeed. I know this sounds picky but if you are from overseas like we were it is important for our devices for entertainment and communication. The house keeping seems to be under a grey area where the owner/manager expected the staff to do our housekeeping but the housekeeping seemed reluctant to do a full service. It was a tad strange to have this predicament and a tad embarrassing. A great addition to the room would be a small bar fridge.

The hotel was as clean and comfortable as has always been and the pub food was as good as usual. The pool was great - although the new booking system meant that late afternoon use of it is no longer guaranteed. The new staff were very friendly and helpful.

Have stayed here many times and we like the hotel, and associated pub, very much. Unfortunately, on this visit, the showers did not work (or only with cold water) in either of our rooms. Also, the wifi provider appears to have been changed and now there was no wifi obtainable in the bedrooms whereas it has been brilliant in the past.

We had an evening meal at the dog and gun which was located just next door, we took advantage of the steak night deal which was excellent value for money we enjoyed 2 steak meals and a bottle of wine for £30. Breakfast the following morning was cooked beautifully. We didn’t use the pool facilities but it looked very good. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean ,the bed was very comfortable. We were greeted by a lady on reception when we arrived she showed us to our room and she was polite and friendly.

We did enjoy our stay and we would definitely return but if I had any criticism it would be that the bathroom could do with modernising and also if the tv was wall mounted it would have given more room for the tea and coffee making facilities.

A warm welcome on arrival and the room was lovely and clean. The lady booked us a meal at the pub next door and was very helpful explaining the booking system for the pool etc. We didn't end up using the pool. However, it was a lovely area to sit and read, overlooking the rolling hills. The meal at The Dog and Gun was amazing, but don't get a starter and a main, the meals are big! I recommend the garlic mushroom starter they were delicious and filling. The food was hot too! The breakfasts are lovely, too.

Unfortunately, we had an adjoining room (which was locked) with the noisiest neighbours. Shouting, rowing, and banging, which was no reflection on the hotel or staff.

Just out of the way of the busy town of Haworth. This gem of a guest house is in an amazing location. The views of the rolling hills are breathtaking. The weekend facilities staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. Everything we needed to know was presented on arrival. Extremely comfortable accommodation with everything you need for an extended stay.100% we will return to this place.

The pub next door is quite pricey. Not surprisingly as it's the only one for miles and I suppose you're paying for convenience of being directly linked to the apartments. However this is only my over critical opinion on an otherwise outstanding visit.

Lovely location in the midst of Bronte country, with glorious views. Having a pool and a sauna is a real bonus. The Dog & Gun provides a warm welcome (log fire), good wholesome food and drink. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The fixtures and fittings are a little dated, but perfectly serviceable. Some of the rooms have doors to adjoining rooms, presumably for family stays. We found this slightly disconcerting, as we could hear the conversations of the occupants of the adjoining room, meaning they could also hear ours…

I liked the welcome. The rooms were lovely, large and tastefully decorated. Lovely pool area and guest lounge was again tastefully decorated with plenty of space to sit and chat and play cards etc. Even had an honesty box for sweets snacks and canned soft drinks. You get your meals next door at The Dog and Gun, fabulous food and great staff there.

The water in the taps Hot was hot, so good, the cold was cold then hot and you never knew when it would happen. the shower worked when it wanted too. Caught once with soapy hair no water no power. Sometimes it worked perfectly.

the suite was spotless. check in was easy and the lady was friendly. we had everything we needed. There was plenty of parking (once the snow cleared) and the hotel is in a great location for exploring g the local area. there was a comfy bed, modern tv and a good powerful shower with plenty of hot water.

The suite is a bit dated and needs a bit of TLC. just little things like the shower holder is loose and there was a broken shelf in the fridge. it was a shame that breakfast wasn’t included. we spent quite a lot of money on the suite so couldn’t justify £10 each per day for breakfast on top of the cost of the suite. the heat was welcome given the temperatures outside however it got too hot. we would have preferred the option to turn it down rather than open a window as it felt like we were wasting the heating. the Wi-Fi went off half way through our stay but I think that this could have been weather related so we just used our mobile data.

The accommodation was lovely, rooms very clean and there was also a swimming pool you could use. Lovely views all around. The cleaner was very pleasant. The accommodation I think is run separately from the pub, I think they have an agreement with them as you have to check in at the pub and you have your breakfast there, which I can say was plentiful. As I say we had a lovely stay in the accommodation but was let down by the attitude of the manager/owner of the Dog & Gun.

Although the accommodation was lovely, the manager of the Dog & Gun pub adjacent to it was very rude, we had an issue with our evening meal, my husband had a deep fried fly in his home made chips, although the waitress apologised the manager/chef who cooked the chips said he could not see the fly and it could of come from anywhere, we have a photo to show, he was very arrogant and did not want to apologise, which we adventually got half heartedly he just didn't care, acting like it was an every day thing, we paid the bill in full I may add and the next day they had the ordasity to ask if we would be dinning there again that evening. Although the pub is in a lovely area and the staff were friendly enough, the owner/manager needs to a attend managent course on customer service.

We have stayed here before, so this was a return visit and not changed. This time, a different room but it was as clean & comfortable as the first time. This time we were prepared & used the swimming pool, which was almost like getting into a bath. Only 5 rooms, so may be best to book early. Meals are taken at the Dog & Gun next door. Breakfast is included but the D & G has an excellent menu, quality as well as quantity. Unfortunately, I would recommend which might mean it will be more difficult for us to book in the future. 😆

Just the walk from the accommodation down to the Dog & Gun has steps and outside but worth it when you get there.
