Very clean and friendly lovely log fire to sit around and enjoy a drink landlord's and landlady's always on hand and nothing is too much trouble Rooms are very spacious and decorated to a high standard with good quality bedding and towels. Tea and coffee making facilities and chocolates a nice touch.

Stunning little inn, bedroom immaculate, completely spotless. Cosy space, felt at home. Staff were pleasant and inviting, can tell they take a lot of pride in the place. I was worried it would be noisy being above a pub/restaurant but it was really quiet! ( I loved coming out the back to the field of cows too).

The location was perfect for a gig at the Piece Hall. The pub was lovely and the room was also really nicely decorated and clean.
We were offered a breakfast upon booking through Booking.com and then we booked the breakfast in the morning with the staff member who checked us into our room. However, we received a handwritten note saying that breakfast was not offered on weekdays which was something never mentioned on the website. There was also a loud humming noise through the whole night which did affect our sleep.

Lovely room, friendly staff, nice local pub atmosphere with a nice selection of food and outstanding, locally sourced fresh cooked food. Probably the best nights sleep i have had in months.
Breakfast unfortunately doesn't start until a little later (9am) which would be fine unless you are travelling for work. If it was anything like the evening meal, fantastic quality i am sure.

Great meet and greet and everybody could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Great choice of beers and lovely atmosphere in the place.Stayed for the quiz on Thursday night which was really good fun.Great breakfast with award winning sausage.Room was exactly what we wanted,clean with the usual coffee,tea,etc.
Could not find any faults.

Lovely comfortable accommodate, beautiful view from our window, spotlessly clean, realy good shower what more can you ask for...Great position for Halifax and Hebden Bridge. We would stay again.
Unfortunately they don't do meals on a Monday and Tuesday which were they days we stayed but that was OK
