Steeton Hall Hotel & Restaurant

Convenient location for driving to various attractions. Frequent train services to Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Skipton from Steeton station 5 minutes walk away. Buses also available. Excellent car parking. The hotel is fairly small at 10 rooms but has a spacious and relaxing feel to it. It is also very old and full of character. The staff were all excellent, welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage, large comfortable bed, kettle, drinks and biscuits provided. The bathroom was good with decent shower (ours also had a jacuzzi). The cooked breakfast was generous with vegetarian and lighter options and continental breakfast available. Excellent meals were served in the early evening. There is also a bar available until late evening. I'd certainly recommend the hotel for a relaxed stay.

This was reasonably priced. We booked a kingsize room for ourselves and a double for my dad. I think it was the owner who greeted us. It was a warm welcome and we ere shown to our rooms…nice personal touch. Our kingsize room was lovely and big, beautifully decorated, new carpet, four poster bed, comfortable mattress, crisp fresh bed linen…..good sitting area etc…the bathroom had a jacuzzi bath, nice shower..it was new and fresh……lovely view from the window. My dads room was equally as lovely. We had a superb meal in the restaurant, all freshly cooked and beautifully tasty and attractively presented..at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was also a pleasantly good experience. This place is unpretentious and unassuming a beautiful gem and we will definitely be back again.

Absolutely nothing…although everyone should always have improvement points so as not to become complacent…..🤣🤣my husband didn’t like the breakfast coffee…

Bed was extremely comfortable and shower was amazing. Extremely clean and the room was a perfect size for one person. I have a friend who lives in the area so I will be returning again and again. Breakfast was amazing too. And good choice of full English, continental, scrambled egg, toast and cereal and fruit. Coffee and teas with apple juice and orange juice. Jam, honey, yogurt. Extremely pleasant place to stay. Gardens lovely train station next door. Large carpark. Taxi calling available. Bustop on doorstep to Keighley or Skipton. Skipton 30 miss bus drive, Keighley 20 mins. Village of Steeton pretty. Local shops. Also the hotel has excellent WiFi and TV in room. Hotel has a restaurant and a bar.

Nothing except maybe the view of the rooftop out of my window. Maybe some flower trays outside the window with some nice flowers in. But hay for the price it was extremely sufficient.

Lovely large room with a jacuzzi bath. I had booked the hotel as it was my mums birthday and we wanted a quiet hotel with a nice restaurant but due to the coronation the restaurant was closed but we hadn’t been informed it would be and we couldn’t get in anywhere close by. We had to order a takeaway instead but the owner set up a table for us in the restaurant and gave us a bottle of wine and pudding on the house. Wasn’t the evening we envisaged but the staff made sure we had a nice evening. Breakfast was lovely.

The bed was very comfortable and warm, especially good as the outside temperature was about -4 degrees Celsius! The room was a good size and quiet, with a new deep pile carpet and underlay.

When we arrived there was a Funeral Wake in the function room which hosted such a large number of guests, there was no room to park! I had to park around the back of the property where there are some private houses. There was nobody on duty outside to explain, neither was there any notice to inform new arrivals like myself where else we should park.

The hotel was very quaint with some history behind it, very clean and tidy. The room itself was very spacious, clean, warm and presentable. We booked an afternoon tea which was lovely and all of the food being served looked fantastic. All of the staff were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We had an amazing cooked breakfast. We unfortunately left our phone charger behind in the room and this was posted back out to us, so thank you for that ! Can highly recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately, our room was right next to the main kitchen large extractor fan which was very loud and gave us a very early wake up call in the morning at 6.30am. It wasn't a deal breaker and didn't have an effect on our stay but maybe would to other guests.

Hotel was charming in an excellent location, with plenty of parking and near to the railway station. Staff and service was exemplary. Restaurant food was plentiful and high quality. All of this at a reasonable price. Would happily recommend and stay here again

Nothing major and no significant issues. Decor is a little tired in places and floors a bit uneven but it is an old building. Nothing to detract from the overall stay

The room was lovely and very spacious quite large. We also had room to relax without sitting on the bed. breakfast and dinner were above expectations with the large variety to choose from. We hope to return to take advantage of the local transport system which is right at the end of the drive and explore the local area without having to be in a car all the time.

It is very difficult to find anything that was wrong. The staff were very friendly & helpful, the food was good & the room was great.

Conveniently located for us visiting family, but the real bonus were that every single member of the team we came across, from the night watch man to the people working FOH at breakfast, was excellent, friendly and helpful. we checked in very early, and then came back well after midnight to collect keys, but nothing was awkward or too much trouble for the team here. We were made to feel properly welcome throughout the duration of our short stay. On a final note; the full English breakfast was superb - well cooked and top quality ingredients, which I feel is actually a hard thing to find as places either offer volume over quality, or charge a ridiculous price. 10/10 - we will be back!

The breakfast consisted of continental and cooked full English included in the price which was excellent. The room albeit small was comfortable with a very comfy bed. Bathroom was basic but OK for 1 night. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Carvery lunch smelt delicious although we didn't try it. Was a very popular venue with the locals which is a good sign.

Very noisy in the morning as we were above reception and there was a lot of noise from staff.
