Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was good. Excellent choice of 5 Timothy Taylor Real Ales. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced. Good sized modern bathroom with an excellent shower. Bedroom was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Lovely view of the town/village in the valley and up the hills.

I guess with it being a pub, it was very noisy on a Friday night. We were above the main entrance and the noise from both inside and outside was very loud, although it was only chatter and laughter. After a long drive and a few drinks we tried to get a reasonably early night! In hindsight we should have stayed in the bar! We didn't get too much of a lay-in as the swing-door from the kitchen squeacked every time it was opened, which was constant from 8am. A spray of WD40 wouldn't go a miss! There is no parking (which we were aware of) but it was quite an uphill treck to the public car-park on the day of departure in the rain!

I arrived earlier than the stated check-in time, but the pub was open and bar staff were happy to put my luggage away somewhere safe, so that I could go and explore. When I did check in someone showed me to my room, explained access (which key did what) and answered any questions I had. Very friendly as all the staff were. The room was very comfortable and I couldn't hear any noise from adjoining rooms or bar downstairs. Tea-making facilities and a biscuit were provided - all of which was checked and refreshed daily. Room was clean, shower worked well. Fantastic view out the window. Bed was comfortable. Basic toiletries were provided (Shampoo etc). Needed to let staff know what time you wanted breakfast the next day. Breakfast was very good - tea/coffee, fruit juice, yoghurt and a great full English breakfast. Evening meals are available in the bar but popular, so worth booking a table in the morning if you are going to eat there in the evening. Good quality meals. Good location - interesting shops nearby. Close to Bronte Parsonage Museum and a only a few minutes walk from the steam train station and close to bus stops for Keighley etc. Timothy Taylor pub with a good choice of good beers (I like the Landlord bitter)

Evening meals good with typical menu and prices for pubs in that area. After trying a couple of large excellent meals there I could have done with a lighter option on the menu for one evening (e.g. a salad or sandwich), but not a big deal.

Comfortable clean room. Location great. Staff friendly.

Noisy at night but expected and didn't go on too late so that was okay. It was hot!! A fan would have been good. Bulb had blown on one of the bedside lights. Food was disappointing. It was okay but not great like when I stayed here a couple of years a go. Evening meal was okay but dessert - apple crumble was burnt. Breakfast - toast was burnt as were sausages, tomato and mushrooms. The last morning the toast wasn't burnt but the mushrooms were. We didn't complain. But it shouldn't have come out like that- it was clearly burnt.

Extremely friendly staff in a quirky little building right on the main famous cobbled street. This feels like a proper country village pub with its narrow corridors and wonky walls, old pictures of the village and it's famous connections are on most of the walls too. I wasn't sure what to expect, travel as the wearer of a sunflower lanyard can be... interesting. But the staff were lovely from the get go, booking in at the bar was really easy, I was asked for times I'd like to eat so they could book me in for tea and breakfast to make sure I had a table. There was no prodding as to what the hidden disability was but staff were careful to check everything was okay with food and double checked dairy content for me with no bother (to be fair I have an IBS intolerance rather than a full allergy, but there are allergy menus for gluten and vegan options). The food itself was really nice - the breakfast sausages are amazing. The room itself was a lovely cosy one - as I was traveling alone on this occasion I was expecting quite a small room, but it was a good size with a TV and a bathtub - rare in a lot of hotels these days and really welcome after a day up on the moors. Lovely patchouli scented toiletries were provided (I may have gone a bit mad using the body wash as bubble bath and the unusual provision of matching body lotion was a nice touch). Really really comfy beds. Check out was easy - breakfast was included with my room and tea from the night before had been added to the tab, everything settled and paid for at key hand in at the bar. I would definitely stay here again.

Not much to be fair, but I will say that the emergency lights in the rooms give off night-light green glows, so if you like a pitch black room, take an eye mask. The other thing to note was fairly obvious it being a pub hotel - there was a patch of about 30 mins where the noise was noticeable. I'm neurodivergent so I pick up on the slightest noise but I didn't find it excessive. A little patch with a cacophony of voices (closing time downstairs I'd guess) and a few slight clangs (lock up and tidy up probably) but after that it went really peaceful.

The pub was a nice traditional pub and the meals it served were very nice. The bedroom I liked a lot. It was a nice large twin bed room. A lot of places now all look very similar. This was different with some nice homely touches.

The breakfast was nice but a bit restrictive. You had to say in advance which cereal you wanted (so no mixing together of different things) and it was just cereal, toast and cooked breakfast. No fruit or nice little pastries or yoghurts so a bit restricted. You got a big pot of tea but no boiling water with it or cozy on so it tended to go cold The cooked breakfast itself was very good though..

The property is in an excellent location if you’re a Brontë lover, right in the middle of Main Street, just a short walk up the steep hill to the museum etc. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and taken to our room, up a few flights of stairs to room 10 but the effort was worth it for the view out of the window. The room was gorgeous, immaculately clean, recently refurbished, tastefully decorated, spacious and airy, really nice. We had an evening meal in the pub which was busy with locals, we were made to feel welcome, the atmosphere was lively and the food was good. Breakfast next morning was superb, plentiful and well cooked, nothing was too much for the waitress. All in all we had a great time at the Fleece and would certainly return.

We arrived in Haworth and tried to drive up the street to the Haworth Inn. Big mistake as the street was closed further up due to roadworks, it's quite narrow, many people wandering, and I was tired! 3-point turns are interesting to say the least! But, my wife popped in the Fleece Inn whilst I waited / sweated outside, found out where we could park, how to get there and were given 2 days parking permits to display in the vehicle (at extra cost). So we drove out, parked up and skittled down the street (200m or so?) with our suitcases rumbling on the cobbled street. Apart from that when we initially arrived, the area that the Fleece Inn is in is absolutely stunning! Like the old Hovis adverts with cobbled streets. Luckily we had booked a dinner for the Saturday night at the Inn as it was very busy and people being turned away. Dinner was lovely as was the beer :o) The check-in was very friendly, and very courteous. We were shown to the room which was lovely. Room was great, shower and toilet great, bed very comfortable. Coffee and tea making facilities. Clean linen and very clean room. Breakfast was great and the service was prompt and courteous. Really nice cooked breakfast as well! We left dinner to chance on the Sunday and didn't book. Bad mistake! We had to go wandering to find a place open at 8pm on a Sunday which is more difficult that you think! SO, make sure you book in advance if you are having dinner! There is an entry and exit where you don't have to go through the pub so that was good. There is some great hiking / walking to be done from Haworth. It is BRONTE country so go prepared for good and bad weather!!

Not a dislike, but more of a suggestion that the Fleece Inn explain what you need to do before you arrive with regards to parking, permits, etc. Apologies if they already did and I missed it.

excellent place the food was fantastic and location superb the lady who showed us our room was lovely, bar staff fantastic nothing to complain about so far.

my wife and I arrived 10 minutes early for breakfast and were met with rudeness by a member of staff blind lady with curly hair, cleaner I think? this only compounded when a lovely Dutch couple did the same as us, this seemed to push the lady over the edge.she found a colleague in the kitchen who was heard to say they can F,off! disgusting behaviour by any staff, but I would say especially from here as it’s such a lovely place.

The pub serves excellent food and has a nice atmosphere, lots of tea/coffee milk in the room and spotlessly clean, would recommend but book direct!

I upgraded via booking.com to a king room £20 extra - didn’t get one and was told they had non available and to complain to booking.com as the pub knew nothing about it!! Obviously not the pubs fault!!!The room was nice, but the cleaner left the door unlocked on the Saturday after she had been in !! We were out most of the day and were obviously unaware until we came back to put some shopping in the room! I contacted booking.com on the website form but have not had any reply, luckily the pub didn’t charge me the extra £20 for the upgrade!

An excellent stay. a comfortable single room with everything I needed, plenty of tv channels, tea tray, toiletries, a comfortable bed with good quality bedding, very clean en suite. Staff were friendly and helpful especially the cheerful lady who served up the tasty breakfast. I can recommend this accommodation in Haworth. The choice of evening meals is also exceptional and a 10%discount for residents. I was also impressed with the efficiency of the waitresses.

Pine furniture in bedroom is a bit worn If you are not fond of dogs be careful to request a table in the dining area where dogs are not allowed. This pub is VERY dog friendly. It did not worry me as I am an animal lover but some may not be so keen…
