The room was great. I asked for a room on the top floor as far away from the stairs and lift which they did. Very quiet inverter driven Air conditioning !!!! Food was good but eating Italian every night could become tiresome

Parking is a rip off and would not stay again because of this which is a shame as for short stays for business it is great value. A bar separate from the hustle and bustle of the busy restraunt would be nice. It is on a very busy road which it does not state on the website Bed was comfortable but creaked very loudly when you move The hotel is used by a lot of contractors who have no consideration fro people who are still sleeping when they leave for work and when they come back from the bar

It is well located and within walking distance of most places.. it has a large retail park opposite it so if you've forgotten something....the rooms were clean, the receptionists were always polite and helpful with quick check-in and checkout.. there is Osteria, an Italian restaurant serving very good food with polite and patient young ladies waitresses who gave us time and helped us through the menu..thankyou!.. we booked a family room for 3 adults and never felt crammed for space.. Really enjoyed our stay..totally recommend a stay if you're visiting Hull.. ample parking spaces ( I think, they're paid spaces). . A roaring 10/10.. ..thankyoufor making our stay a lifetime happy memory

Easy check-in, all explained well. No tea/coffee/etc in the room, you need to pick it up from reception which is not a bad idea. The customer before me was a bit of a pain, but the receptionist dealt with him well! The room was fine - even though it was right beside the roundabout, it wasn't noisy. Facilities were fine, all I needed for a single night.

Parking is via Ringo which is annoying and just a way of adding a cost to the stay. Car park is attached to the hotel, so should be free really. Minor point, but a bit of a faff around. Customer before me was stroppy about it, but was handled well.

The hotel was quiet and the rooms were comfortable and clean. For the price I was surprised it was so good. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and genuinely wanted to help. There was a bus stop just outside the hotel which was great. Loads of out of town shops in close proximity. Ample car parking spaces and lots of availability.

It was close to the main road so some rooms could be noisy. Although my room was on top floor so the noise was none existent. Rooms were sound proofed so that helped. It was far from town so a good 20-30 walk into town or a bus ride. For the price it's a fair compromise though. My room was in the upper floor so had a slanted roof, I had to be careful not to bang my head on the low roof. It felt claustrophobic in there. You should charge less for a room especially if it causes inconvenience to the guest.

Interesting architecture and use of former industrial building. Reasonable sized rooms for a 'functional' stay. Option of a lift if you don't fancy the stairs! Nice reception and outdoor area that you wouldn't get at a travelodge. Italian restaurant on ground floor smelt lovely though we didn't use it.

Car park was an extra £7.50 a day. My room wasn't carpeted though my daughters' on the next floor up was. Location was about 25 minutes walk from city centre though this was our choice I guess (I booked last minute). My booking through booking.com was £20 per room per night more than the hotel's own website for the following weekend; maybe I chose a busy time of October!

The property was really nice and a great experience from start to finish. Tina checked us in and had a chat with us about our stay and from this she booked us a taxi to ensure we weren’t late for our evening out. Stayed in a double room on the ground floor. The hotel was reportedly full but couldn’t hear any noise at all. Slept well, although the bed was a little creaky albeit comfy (room 10). Great location for shopping also and a 20 minute walk to the town. We also ate in the on-site restaurant Osteria and that was amazing. The BEST carbonara I have ever eaten. Will def be staying again when we come back to Hull.

The only thing I can really say was anything wrong was a creaky bed.

The hotel is in a good location, close to the city centre. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We had tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning and a large tv. We liked the restaurant downstairs and ate there during our stay. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.

The hotel has a large car park but it isn’t free. An optional breakfast would have been nice as we had to go out for food during the day. There were loose floor tiles in the bathroom.

When I checked in on 17/06/22, I was met by a very professional receptionist who was very welcoming and helpful. The room had all that you would expect and the shower was good. It was clean and the large window allowed a lot of natural light to enter the room. I particularly liked some of the retaining features of the building's former mill history. Situated in a great location with just about all you will need on your doorstep. There is also a free car park for visiting guests which also has CCTV for added piece of mind. I would definitely consider staying at the Cornmill again when visiting Hull!

The bed base made some noise with body movement and the window in the bathroom didn't always stay in the open position. Having said that, these points can easily be rectified and they didn't really hinder my stay.

Very easy to get to and great for parking, is also really close for KFC, Burger King etc. The room was not very large, but sufficient space, assuming you are not going to be living in it and has air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and spare pillows available in the room. The outside area for the restaurant looks much better in real life than in the pic on the site! All the staff are really pleasant and helpful. We also appreciated that you can help yourself to the milk containers and more tea and coffee sachets at reception at any time and that the snacks and drinks available were not a stupidly expensive.

There didn't appear to be any bedside light option, only the main light with no means of turning it off once in bed. Also, 08:00 on a Sunday morning being woken up by banging room doors and quite noisy housekeeping team talking to each other from a few doors away along the corridor! No breakfast options was a little disappointing for an actual hotel - especially as there is a restaurant on site. Would stay again for what we paid, but not for anything much more.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was so useful for a compact space! I only booked a single room, so wasn't expecting much, but the folding table by the window was a really good surprise and allowed me to do my makeup in natural light. The room was clean and had everything you would need, including a coffee station. The shower was easy to use too. I would also like to point out the surprising amount of vegan options at the Italian Restaurant downstairs, probably the most I have seen at a non chain restaurant! The food was fantastic.

I really have nothing to complain about regarding my stay.
