Good location, very close to the University of Hull. Basic room, comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities, good spacious lounge area. Numerous shops and restaurants nearby, and frequent buses to the city centre. Grounds were quiet and peaceful. The place has a lot of pleasant history to it which adds to the lovely ethos.

Communal shared kitchen was unclean and woefully undersupplied with equipment, so I could not make use of it myself apart from storing a few items in the fridges. The rooms could be improved with a chair and a desk or table; in my room there was only a tiny beside table.

A very interesting old building with stained-glass windows and statues of saints in niches on the facade. Here, once upon a time there was a Catholic school. It is located in a small quiet park, I even saw a squirrel here. Surprisingly, in December it was very warm and dry here. Clean. Internet is good. The kitchen is large and comfortable too. Washing machine with dryer. The staff is very friendly.Nearby is Lidl and other shops. We preferred to do shopping on New Land street, which is a 15-minute walk from the hotel, there are many restaurants, shops and boutiques .

The room was very small. The "smart home" lighting system sometimes worked incorrectly and turned on "on its own initiative" even at night. I think that a small corridor near the closet in front of the shower in our room does not need lighting at all.But it's all small compared to everything else

The bed is very comfortable and the individual room is pleasant. The walls can be quite thin, but ear plugs can solve that problem when you want to fall asleep. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. Endsleigh provided the adequate space for our group of 10 people wanting to work together. The kitchen is spacious, with enough storage room, although the fridge can get crowded. The grounds are beautiful, with vast outdoor green spaces for breaks and picnics. The location is unbeatable, with supermarkets and great restaurants within walking distance, and only 15 min. away from the University of Hull. The bus to and from the city stops in front of the hotel. There are personnel at night to keep guard and they are very agreeable. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.

Nothing happened to dampen the good experience, but there were inconveniences. For example, the bedroom walls are quite thin, mind it and bring earplugs. The bathroom light fixture is operated by a movement sensor. Therefore, the vent noise can be annoying when you need to rest, although it stops after ten minutes. The shower water temperature changes throughout the shower, so it can be enerving. There are stairs to access the rooms, but if there are no mobility issues that shouldn't be a problem. And the dining room can get quite hot in sunny days.

We found this nicely located for the university, going into the city centre and driving out of Hull to nearby towns such as Beverley, York and Hornsea. We also really liked the fact that there was plenty of parking. Having a kitchen to cook in when we didn't want to eat out was a real bonus. Nearby supermarkets provided a good range of foodstuffs from ready made to raw ingredients for cooking from scratch. That said there are plenty of restaurants/takeaways within a 10/15-minute walk if you prefer. Rooms are basic but good and on both of the occasions that we have stayed here the beds have been comfortable.

Whilst the kitchen was cleaned daily and the overall standard of cleanliness good, the microwave and fridges could have been cleaner, especially the microwave (underneath the turntable). Some small items could do with topping up (mugs, forks and spoons especially). Having stayed here before however we were aware of this and brought our own.

Great location for Hull University visits. We only discovered this in her last year. Maybe worth advertising at the Uni? It was nice to park up and walk to the pub (old grey mare also very nice) for dinner with my Daughter. Building and grounds are lovely. If I am up that way again it would be my first choice. Fun sleeping in a nun's cell. You are isolated from the many surrounding shops & clubs which makes the experience quite calm. Some great but apparently underutilised communal areas a few murder mystery weekends or corporate events might make sense.

The no touch key pick up was a little nerve wracking, I heard tales from people of not getting the full instructions they managed to get help but there were a few tense moments I was told. Maybe make more provision for support for new guests. Could use more sound proofing on room doors I didn't appreciate a 4am wake up from some slightly noisy guests.

Peace and seclusion within a busy city setting. Rehabilitated former Catholic teaching college campus retaining many original features. Not an "hotel" in the accepted sense. More an upmarket youth hostel. Self catering with excellent kitchen facilities. Good standard of comfort and excellent cleanliness. Lovely gardens and apiary. Unintrusive staff, self check-in with keybox. Night Watchman. Friendly staff.

We travelled by bicycle. The only secure storage is to chain one's bike to the accomodation access ramp guard rails which are presumably intended for use by people with mobility issues. Many bikes are secured in this way. Needs proper covered storage with bike stands. Most if not all guests were friendly however a iniebriated Polish lady repeatedly slapped her husband (or partner) on the lawn in front of the main entrance yesterday evening. Endsleigh should not be a location where any domestic violence is tolerated and night security should be aware.

Location, gardens, available parking, quiet, clean. Loved the floors, furniture and other nods to when it was a school. Great shower

Only one really thin pillow, no soap or hand wash at all in the bathroom. I'll bring my own next time(because we will stay again) but would have liked warming. Saw not one member of staff in our two night stay so couldn't swap the pillow! Would be concerned if something had gone wrong as there was no answer on the phone to other guests trying to check-in

Spacious common area with kitchen amenities and washer/dryer. The surrounding park is serene and peaceful. Good WiFi connection throughout the building. Smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. Close to Lidls and Sainsbury for grocery shopping and a range of eateries.

Stayed in the one bedroom ensuite. The toilet is small. The sink is really narrow and with the glass shelf above, it makes it difficult to wash up without splashing all over. The location to the city centre is about 3.5 km (45 minutes walk) or a short bus ride from a nearby bus stop. Bed is abit soft for my liking and pillows are a tad too flat.

Loved the freedom you had to do practically anything you wanted. You could stay in your room if you wanted, chill out in the conservatory, or in one of the lounges. if you wanted. You could cook if you wanted, the kitchen has everything you need to do that, hob, pots and pans, plates etc. You can even do your laundry in the washing machine in the kitchen. Lots and lots of elbow room. Also I met some great people there.

Not much about the place that I didn't like. My room was a bit basic, but that was perfectly fine with me. The bed was very comfortable. I had everything I needed.

Endsleigh Park is one of best values in Hull in my opinion given the price, location, beautiful grounds, and unique history of the property. I stayed in a single bed room with a full ensuite including a shower which more than meet my needs for just over a week stay. Plenty of well-lit parking is available on the grounds and the property is surround by high walls so it is very quite. A community kitchen and washing machines are available. The caring staff even left a Christmas Card under my door on Christmas! Highly recommended.
