Ideal location for city centre, quiet, very clean, fresh appeal of rooms and landings, very good value for money.

I could not work the soap dispenser in the shower - not properly fitted. Would like to know at time of booking that parking is chargeable.

Homely , comfortable. The staff are very helpful, very kind and made sure that we had everything we needed. Special dietary needs were met, an adjustment to the meals done with no fuss or complaint.it was a delicious, freshly cooked meal. Breakfast was lovely and the waitress offered to make more fruit salad without any requests from us. David, the staff member I communicated with most of all was amazing, going out of his way to make the time there a very positive experience.

The only thing that I have a problem with was the sign for the hotel. It was not big enough and made the hotel hard to find.

The hotel was lovely and I loved the fact that it had original features. The staff was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. I arrived before check-in and asked if I could leave my bag at the hotel which they let me and looked after it till I returned after 5. I also received a free drink voucher for the restaurant if I went in to have a meal which I thought was a nice touch. The room was lovely and clean.

It would have been nice if you could have bigger duvets on the single beds as it was quite cold when I stopped and I didn't feel the duvet cover was big enough for me. Also, the thermostat is pre-set and although you can change it I noticed it went off during the night and I couldn't get it back on which left me cold at times.

Friendly, helpful staff, great sized rooms (plus I'd been upgraded to a bigger room that I originally booked, free of charge) Clean rooms (plus the staff respect your privacy) but were helpful enough to give me directions /suggestions for nearby places (although it's location is overlooking both the Train/bus depot and Hull town centre) They also have a Italian restaurant/bar on site too. Truth be told, I enjoyed my stay (more than Hull itself) Highly recommended, A+

Excellent location for work. Clean rooms. had everything I needed. Staff were superb. Very handy having a bar on site.

Nothing that could be helped, but I was awoken at 0430am on the Saturday night/Sunday morning when other guests returned to their room drunk, shouting, laughing, banging doors for about an hour. The hotel does ask all guests are considerate. I did phone security but no one picked up. I did highlight this to the hotel staff the following morning to ask them to check cctv security in case there were more guests in those rooms than originally booked.

This place was fabulously clean. I am an exceptionally fussy person and can't enjoy a good night's sleep if I think somewhere isn't clean. I slept so well! Apart from being very clean the beds were sooo very comfortable! The room was lovely, bright and spacious. It was nice and quiet. I liked that each bed had usb charging sockets so we didn't need the plug adapter. Our room could have done with some coat hooks but it wasn't essential and didn't in anyway detract from the fantastic stay we had. The town centre and marina was a very short walk away which was great. I had no issues paying for parking on the app which I downloaded in the carpark on arrival. It is a bit cheaper to park across the road but not as convenient. The staff were very friendly and gave us a lovely warm welcome. We will certainly be booking here again.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The staff were kind and attentive. The food was a lot better than I was expecting (fish and chips were perfect) the secure parking opposite was handy and had a very decent sleep courtesy of the decent bed, pillows and air conditioning.

It appears boy racers like to go to the nearby Tesco until late, which I can imagine is only an issue if you stay on the front side of the property.

Not the hotels fault but there sure were some noisy guests coming in during the small hours. Would be great if hotels could find a way to put these guests somewhere all together. basement maybe.

This hotel is in a nice quite location yet still only a few minutes away from the shops and town centre, and the room had everything one would need for a short stay, such as tea and coffee making facilities, a nice size television, and a small en suite bathroom. The interior of this hotel is quite grand, and everywhere was lovely and clean. The staff were very kind, and went out of their way to make one's stay as pleasant as possible - I had booked a single room but was very kindly upgraded to a double, and I was able to store my luggage there, whilst I spent a day in Hull, after I had checked out.

The room and bathroom were very small, and the bathroom did not have a bath - only a shower.

Clean and spacious in corridors and room. Staff took time to check we were happy with where our room was and we’re always polite and helpful when we approached them with a question. Being able to leave luggage for the day after checking out was also good. Very near shopping centre, although nothing open there early Sunday morning prior to checkout. Really close to bus and rail interchange.

There was no breakfast, which was not obvious to me when I booked. Some noise through door form other guests during night which woke me up. Also, the walk from the train station to the hotel was only 10 mins but not particularly pleasant - took ages to cross by Tesco and Park St itself - which is particularly annoying because need to walk that way to get to other side of interchange where city centre, museums, waterfront etc are.
