Rosemount Boutique B&B

This property is extremely well placed for all local amenities and beautiful surrounding area, but the bedrooms are set back from the main road so you still have a peaceful experience. The rooms are relatively compact but the finish and use of space is phenomenal - there is literally nothing lacking and everything is high quality and spotless. The breakfast experience is exceptional, lots of choice and cooked in front of you by the highly hospitable hosts.

Peaceful location, yet only 2-3 mins walk away from good restaurant ( Woodpecker) , and fantastic old traditional live music bar ( Horse and Jockey). The room was perfect , from the decor , the heated bathroom floor, to the beautiful hanging baskets outside . Plenty of choice at breakfast...we opted for full Scottish...it was cooked perfectly. The hosts are lovely, friendly people and it was a pleasure to stay here. Thank you Rosemount Boutique, thank you Lanark . Like Bukowski in his poem ' nirvana ' we felt the magic !

The location of our room/lodge was at the top end of the property away from the road, so was lovely & quiet. The accommodation was spotless, very comfortable & had everything we wanted or needed. The Breakfasts were to die for!……John cooks a mean breakfast with plenty of locally sourced scrumptious food & Lesley’s freshly baked bread was very hard to resist! Next time my John will take up the challenge of eating John’s “Breakfast Stack”!

We chose to stay in Lanark as a stopover on the way to Scotland. The Rosemount was fabulous. Our room was spacious with a very comfy bed, lovely ensuite with heated flooring and great shower. Lovely personal touches like flowers and little treats. Yummy breakfast. Very central location. If you have the opportunity to visit Lanark then we would recommend the Rosemount. ( and if you enjoy golf make sure you play the course at Lanark - the oldest inland golf course in the world!)

Lesley and John were the perfect hosts really lovely people and the property is in a fab location walking distance from everything in the centre of town but lovely and quite for sleeping. We had a great night sleep in a gorgeous room, the bed was soooo comfy and the rain shower in the bathroom was a real treat. The breakfast was so yummy! And I’m a lovely setting my partner said it’s the best cooked breakfast he’s had! We both loved our stay here and would definitely stay again if we came back to Lanark 😊

Rosemount Boutique B&B in Lanark is a jewel with a stunning garden. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom are modern, functional, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The breakfast selection is wide-ranging and fresh. You must try one [or more] of the cooked breakfast options; the best we have experienced in our many years of travelling. Lesley and John are super hosts, and thanks to them we had a wonderful three night stay. We will be back!!

Breakfast was a delicious home cooked meal. Location is excellent, perfect car park. The cottage was so clean, fresh, warm and comfy, in a pretty garden setting. Lesley & John were delightful hosts. We were leaving on the morning of the Kings Coronation, we were offered to stay in the dinning room to watch it on TV with tea & coffee provided. Many thanks for a lovely welcoming stay in Lanark.

The most beautiful place you could wish to stay, and it's so good this was a return visit for us. Something that we rarely do, as we will always try somewhere new. The rooms are at the back of the garden, quiet and secluded and so beautifully appointed, they are fabulous. And oh my word the breakfast it to die for - freshly made to order with beautiful juices, fruits and yoghurt too. And the hosts are just really nice kindly people. I have no doubt that we will be back again when in the area. <3

There is nothing in the category - this place is fabulous

Great location easy short walk to all amenities and the train station. The accommodation felt like we were the first to stop in it, it was so immaculate, spotlessly clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated. A big TV and soundbar with a comfy bed and a plentiful supply of tea, coffee and even a coffee machine with pods. My mrs even picked up on there being fresh flowers from their stunning garden in the room. Our Hosts John and Lesley couldn’t be friendlier and more accommodating serving a delicious freshly cooked breakfast to our requirements each morning.

The only thing I didn’t like was unfortunately having to end our stay a night early due to personal circumstances and enjoy our fantastic experience to the end.

The hosts were very welcoming, the room was very modern. The room was a perfect size for a romantic break. It was very quiet so had a great sleep especially on the large and very comfortable bed. The rain fall shower was great and not mention the heated flooring which was a nice surprise. There was a lot of breakfast options and breakfast was exceptionally good. Overall we had a great stay and would love to come back in summer/ nicer weather. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
