Location was brilliant for train station and travel to Glasgow and world cycling championships. The small apartment had everything we needed. Very quiet, had a great few nights sleep, beds and bed linen very comfortable. Shops very near by for essential food and coffee, tea and milks most appreciated. Will certainly recommend to friends and great distance by train to travel into Glasgow. Could not say anything negative at all about our experience. Beautiful house conversion and tastefully designed and decorated. Many, many thanks to staff and Sweeney Apartments.

I felt so comfortable, the room gives a feeling of being in a hotel room at the same time the feeling of a home. The room is big, with a good size kitchen and bathroom. I felt so bad at the end of my stay, wishing I could stay longer. Will I recommend it to anyone, absolutely yesssss, will I come back again, holy yes definitely. I would rather stay in this place than stay in Radisson hotel, Marldron, and the rest of them. It is great value for money.

Checking in at 4pm is a bit too far, Would be much better checking in at 2pm and to check out at 11am, very reasonable to me.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The apartment had everything needed to enjoy a short stay. i particularly found the bed super comfortable 👌

The outside area and entrance to the apartment was awful as there was significant rubbish and discarded furniture lying around. It gave a really poor impression on arrival and made us feel like we were in a very dodgy area! Inside the apartment in contrast was lovely and very welcoming. A minor issue was the toilet seat was loose and a bit dangerous as you could do yourself an injury if you weren’t careful! The kitchen was cold as it didn’t have a radiator but as we didn’t spend much time in the kitchen wasn’t a problem. A coffee table to set a cup on when sitting on the sofa would have been welcome.

The bed was soooo comfortable. I don't know what they do differently than the hotels, but the bed was 10 times better than the standard hotel beds. Seemed a bargain at the rate I paid and conveniently close to where I needed to be. Everything was done electronically and I never saw a single employee of the establishment. That can be good or bad depending on your preference.

I was in the small bedroom and it didn't have an independent thermostat. The room was very nice, but cramped. Next time I will pay for a larger room if it's available. Location is off a busy road and was a hard turn into the property, especially in a car that wasn't my own, between two narrow stone columns.

What an incredible find. We used the Sweeney Apartments and Rooms as a stopover on a long north south journey. Located very near Strathclyde Country Park & 'seconds' from the M74. It was absolutely perfect. Beautiful rooms / high ceilings / period features / incredibly comfortable / modern interiors / fantastic facilities / extremely comfortable bed / wonderful bathroom (amazing tiles!). We had the feeling that the owners really know what they are doing when it comes to the property - right down to the website. Exceptional attention to detail. We took lots of pictures - but just for a few ideas for ourselves. The pictures on their website are certainly true to life. This really surpassed all our expectations. Even the central hallways are nicely decorated. Everywhere absolutely spotlessly clean. We stayed in the large apartment - but imagine every room to be up to the same standards. Minutes from the railway station - and therefore very easy for both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Despite the road - we found it to be strangely peaceful and barely noticed the road noise. We would not hesitate to stay again - and certainly will. Thank you very much.

Honestly - nothing.

The room had everything I needed, kitchen was well equipped including microwave. Bathroom was perfectly located in the room with a powerful shower. The room was well ventilated with views over the back car park.

Late check in at 4pm with a check out time of 10am. Most places have a check in time of 2pm. The door codes were preprogrammed to allow entry at 4pm. Would stay again if the check in time was earlier. As I travelled with my dog, I would request a ground floor room as room 4 was on the first floor.

From start to finish we couldn't fault our stay. We had a couple of questions prior to the stay and Sweeney Apartments came back to us with answers very quickly. The accommodation was really lovely, modern and spotlessly clean. We had prepared dinner for our stay and the apartment had a microwave, kettle and a good selection of crockery and cutlery, along with washing up supplies. The location was ideal - only a couple of minutes walk to the town centre, restaurants and bars. Bus and rail services also only a couple of minutes walk away. I would definitely book again and would recommend without hesitation. Thank you

Our apartment was on the second floor, for travellers with mobility issues, this might be a bit of a challenge.

Lovely property in a nice area very spacious 1 bedroom flat with plenty of storage space and sleeping area not sure if it was the bed or the pillows but I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time I actually slept so did the kids will definitely look into booking again for next time

Wasn’t to keen on the entrance area to get to the flat and the area where I was told to park This area could be looked after and cleaned up a bit better than it was not sure if it’s down to local council or owners of the property’s but the whole rear area of the property’s could do with investment to make the back area look nicer even if the grass was cut would Make a large improvement

Great value for money. Clean and comfortable.

I would be happy to pay a bit more money if there was basics available. Milk in fridge, bread, butter etc. Maybe offer an option of a small basic food hamper. I'm not sure where nearest shop was to get milk but I really would of loved a few cups of tea. Towels and soap could of already been placed in bathroom. Soap dish at sink and a shower caddy would be beneficial. Minor suggestions as the apartment was very impressive.

The apartment was lovely; very nicely decorated and very very clean. The double bed was huge! (It was two singles together, I think). The location was very close to the shopping centre and Asda etc. which was handy. Loved the decor of the bathroom and the shower was powerful.

I stayed with my young nieces and my only concern was that there was only one door (the front door) between the studio and the hallway so I was a little concerned about noise travelling out into the hallway/apartment next to us. Although I’m not sure that could really be helped given the layout.
