Ravna Gora

The location of Ravna Gora hotel can't be beat! I enjoyed exploring Notting Hill, Holland Park, Hyde Park and Kennsington High Street by foot. Being between the Holland Park and Notting Hill Gate tube stations, I was also able to venture further afield via tube. Victor at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Not only did he help me get my bagged to my room upon arrival, he also brought it to the street and got me a taxi when it was time to depart.

The room and en suite were small and simple, but for the affordable price in a prime location, it didn't matter. It's not like you're in the room a lot when visiting the vibrant city of London! Tip: if you need a hair dryer, make sure you grab it at the front desk before your shower.

Some traffic noise - But the Hotel is on Holland Park Ave in central London! - So noise is to be expected from a hotel in a busy part of a large city, and in an area with such great access to public transport - Could largely be regulated by closing windows

Great location, 2 minutes walk to holland park tube station. Fully refurbished. The people working there were very pleasant and helpful, thank you!

Having to wear ear plugs to avoid the noise from London’s traffic. As the building is a beautiful old Victorian house unfortunately the windows are pretty thin. This isn’t as bad with a room on the opposite side to the street.

Nice hotel with good location. The Holland Park tube station was really close and easy to explore the city. Notting Hill was just around the corner. Lounge downstairs with complimentary tea and coffee was nice place to chill. Very nice hotel with good location and for reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay!

The mattresses were quite soft and you could feel the springs. The noise from the street was a bit annoying. Another key would have been good because there were four people with a bit different schedules in a same room. A shelf or a dresser would be good for your stuff. The sink in a bathroom was very small and washing your face was a bit difficult. Some hooks for wet towels or for your clothes would have been great.

I loved that the staff were very helpful even after we checked out. Our bus back to the airport was around midnight and the staff were very kind to let us leave our suitcase for the day even though we were checked out, I do highly appreciate this!

I might have missed this in the description, but the room had wood windows instead of doubled glazed plastic windows. This impacted the noise isolation coming from the busy street outside. The TV in the room was wall mounted, one night we did watch it, but did notice that there was a bit of dust collected behind the TV, not really a problem, but could use a bit of cleaning. We also used the breakfast option, one thing that I would recommend to be upgraded is the coffee machine.

Great location, only metres from Holland Park Underground Station and a bus stop pracitically right out the front of the property. We booked a room with ensuite and bathroom was small but clean and amenities were provided also. Room was nicely decorated and clean and bed was comfortable. Lift for easy access.

Facing the road did mean we could hear the traffic even thought we were on the top floor, but we still managed to sleep ok. Taps in shower were a bit difficult to work out how to use so we had very warm showers.

Location is great, very close to Notting Hill gate tube, restaurants, & shops - Tesco, Waitrose, M&S Next door to Holland Park, nice for a morning stroll, Hotel is grand old building, nicely converted in hotel. Room is comfortable, very clean and for London prices, value for money - will stay again.

Rear entrance for luggage access needs detailing as part of check in, as front steps a bit steep, if raining (English summers) Need a glass to drink water, better would be kettle, tea, coffee tray, as too far to go from L4 to L1 tea room (but no big deal)

The cleanliness. I had a tiny room with an ensuite, and whilst initally concerned the room was so small, it was quickly appeased by noting how superbly clean the room and the whole hotel was. If it's truly clean, other little things do not matter.

Being female - would have liked a shelf in the shower - or bathroom. Always a problem when showering and having to put the shampoos, soaps, washcloths etc somewhere, the shower floor doesn't feel right and often difficult to bend down and pick things up whilst the water is going.

Hotel was fantastic, great localization - near to metro stations, parks and other must-to-see spots. There is only 10 min to Notting Hill most famous places. Many restaurants and shops nearby. People from service were helpful and really nice, there was no problem to leave our luggage before we check-in. Breakfast was rather continental (fresh coffee, toasts, bacon, cheese, yogurt, fruits ect.), but it was everything that we needed. It was additionally paid 10 GBP per person (great value for money). Dining room was very clean.

The street outside is a little bit noisy, so I recommend to carry earplug with you.

Good location next to Holland park tube station and bus to city center. Perfect quadraple room with very good WiFi connection, view and heating. Nice building and very nice neighborhood with park and restaurants nearby. I would stay again in the same room in this hotel.

No problems. The fact that the elevator wasn't working is something known from before. For us to reach 3rd floor it was ok. Maybe others won't find it convenient. I would only expect information from the hotel before my arrival that the charge for the stay is done at the moment of my arrival, before getting my key.
