Holiday Inn Express Park Royal

We really liked how clean the Hotel was. We got new towels, new sheets and the bed was made everyday. All the staff was super friendly and extremely helpful especially a woman called Garofita. She made sure that the breakfast was complete everyday, as soon as something was out she refilled it immediately. She also cleaned up tables as soon as people finished eating such that we always had a clean table for breakfast and really enjoy it as well.

The only disadvantage is maybe the location since it does take 25min to the city with the underground. Personally we did not find it a problem though.

The location of the hotel is perfect! It is situated just a few metres away from the from the tube. Would highly recommend to persons who are planning on using the underground as their means of transportation.

I think the biggest advantage of this hotel is in its location which is very close to the underground train station -- it's literally round the corner. Also, right next to it, there are two grocery shops, both open until 11 p.m. The hotel is walking distance away from the centre of Acton which offers cheap restaurants and bars (and supermarkets). Using the central underground line, everyone can be at the London's centre in approx. 30 minutes. I recommend this hotel especially to people which are rather tight on budget, and which travel from the Stansted Airport because the Liverpool Station (a destination for the Stansted Express) lies just on the central line.

I reserved a room with one main bed (a queen-sized bed?) with one additional smaller bed. I think it's intended for families with one kid. I travelled with my two daughters so I had to sleep with one of them in a shared bed. Unfortunatelly, the main bed was quiet small (narrow). An additional one (apparently intended for a kid) was of the same size. I wish the main bed was much bigger.

- the location. 1 minute from North Acton station which is on the Central line that will get you to the city center - very friendly and profesional staff especially Garofita who helped us in every way we need it - very clean - very comfortable bed - the room was big with sofa and table

- the breakfast was tailored for English people, no cheese or ham, nothing cold, only the same scrambled eggs, beans, bacon, sausages everyday. There were some croissants and muffins and of course cereal but it felt it s missing something. We ended up buying products ourselves to compensate for what was missing - the furniture is a bit dated, they had usb ports for charging but only normal usb not usb c and I am surprised they did not provide any adapters for European electric sockets

Location is perfect, not too far from center, not far from heathrow Airport. Tube direct next to the hotel, carpet floor (makes everything more silent), the bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, I slept incredibly good, air conditioning (although I like the noise from it, might be disturbing for other people), helpful staff (changed my room immediately when needed), quite silent although next to the train station.

Just arrived in the room and air conditioning wasn't working. They offered me another room immediately, but according to them it was the last room. Some things in the toilet were broken, not allowing to hang towels properly. Above the bed was a thing with the lamp which was partially open and really full of dust, breakfast is too simple, even for a 3 stars hotel, items take a lot of time to be replaced in the breakfast, some of them never are. The hotel was FULL of teenagers, breakfast felt like a huge pyjama party, wouldn't recommend it for adults looking for peace.

The room was spacious enough for two friends. Beds comfortable. Air conditioning worked very well, which was important due to the hot weather. The location was very good, just a few steps from the underground station, as well as from two different grocery stores. The breakfast was sufficient, and had cold and warm options to choose from. The staff was friendly.

The breakfast was quite crowded at times. The room was a family room with a door in between two rooms, and the door wasn't soundproof, which that disturbed our sleep a little.

Breakfast was alright, there were enough choices for a vegetarian as well. Hoped we could've gotten regular black coffee and not just americano (or other speciality coffees) from the coffee machine. Location was good for getting around London, the tube station is right next to the hotel. The room had an air con that you can adjust yourself which is a plus! Staff was really nice and helpful and was available 24/7.

There was some dirt from previous residents in the bathroom when we arrived to our room but otherwise the room was tidy.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and even offered a birthday cake as a surprise present for us. As for the breakfast there was not much of choose but it was sufficient enough for a descent breakfast. The hotel room was clean and offered enough comfort to relax after a long day of touristing. The hotel is well located next to a metro station that will bring you to a majority of the tourist attractions within approximately 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend the hotel considering the value for money.

The breakfast was very good - not expansive but more than adequate selection of hot food and continental items. The excellent staff ensured all food and beverage items were always topped up and they were always helpful. The room and bathroom was neat, clean and comfortable and more than adequate and was well insulated from any noise from the nearby Tube. However, the room can get a little warm at night and the A/C was ok but could have been better. We could have done with a bigger bed - double a bit too small - but it was comfortable. Great location for accessing public transport as it's 30 seconds away from the Tube. Wifi signal can be weak at times but it was generally adequate.

As I mentioned above, the only very SMALL issues were with the A/C not getting cold enough, the bed a bit too small - we would get 2 single beds next time - and the wifi signal sometimes not being very strong. But these were by no means big issues.

Perfect location for the tube and local shops for any missing/forgotten items. Breakfast is always a deal sweetener!

There seemed to be some confusion in terms of parking. I rang up 5 days before to double check parking arrangements. I was told if I don't move my car the entire stay then I would only have to pay for one night. However upon checking out I was hit with the additional nights parking charge after not moving my car at all. I will admit though that it was ideal to park there and tucked away so take the good with the bad in terms of parking.
