This is a big, traditional pub with all the associated atmosphere. Great vibe and good music downstairs. I was made very welcome, but felt I needed to prepare for a noisy stay. I was wrong. The rooms are well isolated from the pub. Decor is pleasant, modern and in great condition - far better than I expected, given the price and the fact first impression suggests that this is more a pub than a hotel. A big bonus is that free parking is available right outside between 18:00 and 09:00. A very comfortable and pleasant stay at exceptional value.

The room was very clean and nicely prepared for us. The coffee set was there, shower supplies and fresh towels exchanged everyday. The air conditioning worked without any issues, came in handy many times. The staff - very nice. I found myself in a situation where a relative of mine called the hotel at 11pm, worried about me. Regardless of the hour the staff still managed to come up to the room and resolve the issue. A lot of respect for that.

I think the only issue was the low water pressure in the shower and bathroom sink. Other than that the room met my standards.

The pub the rooms are above was really lovely. Had some snacks and wine before leaving for the evening and service and standards was high. The room itself was very snug. Well designed, very comfortable bed and great coffee facilities. Shower was good as were the quality of the products.

A mini bar would have been handy and it was a shame the pub was closed for renovations from 12-3pm on the day after we stayed. Was hoping to post up and work from there. Unavoidable and no criticism of the pub and accommodation.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was LOVELY. Loads of toiletries. Actual hair conditioner and a nice body lotion (rarity in hospitality). The room itself was decorated nicely.

As soon as I got there I started sneezing and my throat was itchy all night. It was quite dusty. I could see the carpet dust all over the bed from my feet. Couldn't pull down the blinds as it was layered in dust. The bed had a fabric canopy that was a dust magnet. We put the decorative pillows and throw into the drawer to try deduce dust. Couldn't open window to air out room but thankfully there was air-conditioning. Also no coffee pods were left for the Nespresso machine.

It was a good location for attending an event at the Eventim Apollo. The bed was very comfy. Nice bar downstairs. They don't do breakfast but there was a lot of places close by that were very good.

While the bed was very comfy, the pillows aren't the best, very lumpy and could do with replacing. Our bathroom had a bad smell coming from it. As we were only staying for one night and were out of the room for most of the time we just put up with but would have said something if we were staying longer.

The guest rooms are located on the 2nd floor of a lovely pub that also serves great and affordable food, they even give hotel guests a 33% discount on food. There is another floor between the pub/dining room and the guest rooms so we didn't hear any noise from the pub even when their new year's eve event happened. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was equipped with everything we needed, including tea bags and an electric kettle. We enjoyed the room and beds and everything looked nice and clean. A bus stop is right in front of the building with a frequent bus service to Shephard's Bush station (Central line and Overground) and Shephard's Bush Market (Hammersmith & City line and Circle line) so getting to central London is fairly easy - but takes a while.

Nothing that has negatively influenced our stay but note that there is no 24/7 reception (look for the pub's hours). You also need to go up a relatively narrow and steep staircase to access the guest rooms. There is no breakfast option but we liked Gail's Bakery in Askew Rd. which is a short 5 minute walk from the place. Even though the connection to central London is decent, you have to plan a 40+ minute journey to most touristy places (Buckingham Palace, Westminster, British Museum, Piccadilly Circus, etc.).

Lovely old pub with great atmosphere, the food was exceptional and you get a discount as you are staying which is a bonus, and something that the bigger one's could easily do. The locals were very friendly and had lots of family with children, which may not be to everyone's taste but goes to show if you are taking your kid's there it's a decent establishment. Great location for the o2 Shepherds Bush and Westfield, and parking was very reasonable at Westfield. If you are driving, cost us £24 for 24 hours.

Nothing really, everything was perfect.

Very nice pub and restaurant on the ground floor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Decor was lovely. Wifi worked well. I slept soundly. The windows kept the noise out well.

It was pretty cold in my room, though. And the shower is tiny. You move a little bit and you bump against the glass walls. Those were my only issues, which are small overall. I still recommend the place.

The staff were really helpful and kind. The room was perfectly acceptable - suitable facilities, and comfortable beds. There was a room in the noise (air con?) but war plugs solved this. You can't hear any noise from the pub itself, and it closes at 11pm anyway. The food was excellent. The location was very suitable. There's a bus stop on Askew Road that can get you into Hammersmith, and is quicker than walking to Shepherd's Bush station. Would definitely stay here again.
