Holiday Inn Express London Greenwich, an IHG Hotel

the staff were all really friendly, helpful and lovely. We were checked in by Sue - and she couldn’t have been any nicer - great welcome and set the tone for the whole stay. Hotel is perfectly situated if you’re visiting the O2, as it’s within walking distance. Hotel was very reasonably priced with a good hearty breakfast included. Bar prices, unlike other hotels were very reasonable. all in all a great day and would highly recommend this hotel.

slight improvement could be made in terms of the temperature of the lounge whilst we were there, it was very cold…. But except that the weather outside didn’t help.

On arrival the lady we spoke to was very lovely and helpful, we was early and she looked to see if our room was ready, it wasn't but that was fine, she also showed us where to go to get the tube into London, and she smiled. The breakfast was yummy on both days, one staff member didn't look very happy but the others were happy and friendly. Room was clean and very comfortable, we was even provided a fan as was told there was issue with Aircon but ours was fine, just didn't turn off which was fine as suited us during the night.

Lady who booked us in wasn't very friendly, she didn't smile, she was very blunt and didn't show any interest at all, didn't ask how are day was as we checked in quite late in the evening.traffic was a bit noisy as was busy till very late, but that's too be expected due to position of the hotel.

Reception, Pizza at 11pm was great as we hadn't eaten all day and had to wait until after the show. Breakfast ok, croissants were a little dry, plates for breakfast a little small but on the whole it was good. Fresh orange juice lovely!

Not really anything! the lounge area could do with a bit of brightening up! Staff were committed but it seemed that more staff were needed at the late arrival time of people due to being at the O2, so 11pm, more help.

great bed very comfortable, ideal location for o2. breakfast was tasty with a good choice of food.

the price was quite high for a basic hotel. breakfast was chaotic and messy. light from the corridor visible from under the room door affected sleep a little.

Location was perfect for the O2 When i originally booked the description came across as having a limited buffet style breakfast but that wasnt the case at all. It was a very plentiful buffet style breakfast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, tea, coffee, juices etc all in plentiful supply. Staff worked very hard keeping it well stocked up and always with a smile. If anyone came away hungry then that wasnt the fault of the hotel!! Hotel staff when checking in were amazing. Polite friendly professional but not in a forced way like other places ive stayed at. They were natuand genuine. A credit to the hotel. Rooms were kept clean and tidy. Again the cleaners we met were very friendly and polite despite working hard to keep the rooms clean. The shower was very nice, not a power shower but certainly enough for us. Bed was really comfortable pillows huge. We only needed one each. Perfect room for us as a couple

Minor issues. Shower and toilet room was perfect for us but had we been bigger then it would have been an issue. Toilet especially was a bit tight for me and im about 5'6 and 12 stone. Anyone taller and broader may have issues. The step into the shower was also very high and i did catch my feet a couple of times. Again anyone with mobility issues may find it a problem. The window was a bit sticky to initially open but once worked out was fine as we like fresh air so the aircon was a bit warm These are really minor tjings which certainly didnt detract from a brilliant stay. We will certainly be coming back

I like the ideea of breakfast included, the room was clean ( cleaning every day)

The breakfast was pretty good…but the same every day … on the other hand it”s ok to have the breakfast included… but must to be more various The location is to faaaaar away from the center of London. I didn’t know that. To much many tubes to change to get in Trafalgar Squere, Picadilly etc…For a foreign tourists like us it is very hard. But I did not know that the location is so faaar away from the Zone 0 of London. Anyway, London is London, we like it very much, the hotel was very good, but we surely will find another location of your hotel nearest Zone O.

convenient, clean and tidy. friendly helpful staff who smile! on site parking which is very useful. good positioning for the O2. tea coffee etc in the rooms topped up each day of our stay breakfast service was much improved from a previous experience although this morning (4/6) there was a shortage of juice (and no orange at all) which was slightly disappointing but food was in plentiful supply while we were in there

nothing. only slight issue was that one morning we realised we only had one set of towels (one small one large) which wasn’t ideal but partly our fault for not noticing the night before!

Staff were super helpful and friendly, location is ideal, 10-15 mins walk from North Greenwich tube station on the Jubilee Line so very straightforward to get around. The room was comfortable and the bed was amazing. Around the corner in the cinema complex are multiple fast food spots/sit down restuarants which is handy. Breakfast is served in the hotel with a large choice. Definitely will look at rebooking again next year.

Housekeeping came and cleaned our room one day and moved some stuff around despite having the do not disturb sign on the door. We were travelling with kids and had left their toys etc on the second bed so there was some panic when we got back to our room until all teddy bears etc. were found. You are somewhat limited in food choices late at night as most places nearby close around 10/11 it seems so keep that in mind if going to a show and travelling back late.

The receptionists were approachable and helpful. On arrival we asked for a room upstairs for the views and we were allocated the 7th floor facing the River Thames which is the quieter side and we were impressed. (Obviously you cannot see the River Thames as there are many tall buildings in front of the hotel). We could see the Cable car. The room was comfortable and cleaned and the bed was comfortable. I noticed the housekeeping staff were deep cleaning other rooms when we arrived so I knew on their notice that rooms are deep cleaned they actually are. The breakfast area was busy and the food was topped regularly up so only a short wait for hot food. The location was good for our visit to 02 and about a 10 minute walk to the River Thames Path which was a pleasant walk to the 02 or there was parkland to walk along. There are buses which take you to Bexley Heath or to the tube station near the 02

Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite. The room was clean, the bathroom spotless, a decent quality of washing products in the bathroom. The breakfast was hot, and there was plenty to choose from. Good location for the O2 and the tube.

Although the rooms were clean, they needed a little TLC, there were cracked tiles in the bathroom, the shelving was stained a peeling. The pillows, they need to be of a better quantity, they had no substance to them whatsoever, which led to a poor night's sleep. The room was hot due to the air con not working, which we were notified about at check in, they had put a fan in the room to try and keep it cool, and the window opened, however there was still a heavyweight quilt on the bed, so sleeping was uncomfortable (including whe pillows), it maybe an idea to include lighter weight quits for the rooms during the Summer months.
