Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel

The room was a great size, it has a really nice bathroom with a bath and shower. The blue lightning in the bathroom is pretty nice too. The bed was very large and comfy. There was a big screen TV in the room and a small refrigerator. No complains regarding the room.

The spa and the pool were not operating, however that was due to the COVID circumstances, so it is understandable. I was mostly disappointed by the breakfast. There was no regular bread for breakfast - I dont know if this is normal in the UK, but I have never been in a hotel where you could not get regular bread for breakfast. Here they only had toast.

We stayed here at the beginning of our trip for 2 nights. Our experience was excellent. The walk to the hotel from the Battersea Power Station tube stop only took about 10 minutes. We were particularly happy with the room. It was spacious with a large couch next to the window from which you could see the Battersea Power Station lit up at night. The beds were very comfortable. Feeling tired one night, we opted for grabbing dinner in the lobby bar, and were impressed with the dishes we ordered and the helpfulness of the staff. As a sign of how much we liked this hotel, at the tail end of our trip when we needed a hotel for one night before we left the UK, we chose to stay here again.

Great location for visiting friends in Chelses. very nice rooms. Very comfortable bed and friendly staff. Nice to have both bath and shower in bathroom. Very clean. Bottled water provided on arrival.

The restaurant, spa and room service remain closed. Was surprised when told the buffet breakfast would be £20. Coffee was standard kettle and instant coffee - I would have liked a pod coffee machine in room. An easy thing that i think any hotel listing itself as luxury accommodation should provide. I would like to go back when all services were provided.

Room was fabulous size and great to have a bath and shower. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and room lovely and clean. Make up room service excellent. Loved being able to open the window and despite being central was quiet. Reception staff excellent.

Breakfast very sub standard. Stayed at many hotels and this breakfast was not good. Hot food cold, hot water for tea cold. Will stay again but definitely not pay for breakfast. Go to Battersea. Not worth money. Another thing. Room was super comfortable but TV basic. Basic channels but the service exceptionally bad. Channels would not connect. Could not watch a thing. Disappointing as rest of hotel great..if you skip breakfast.

Had some chicken wings which were lovely, coffee very welcome and tasteful Hotel room was for 3 and had a king size bed and double sofa bed, both very comfy and suitable for 3 adults Good night sleep, very quiet room on second floor at front of the hotel Great location and battersea power station a few minutes walk- amazing! Lots to see and good restaurants close by

Receptionist was a little confused about our booking with booking.com think she was fairly new but sorted by other staff member Service charge for a couple of coffees was a little extreme!

Managed to book for £108 somehow. Really baffled me because I’ve stayed in far more expensive hotels with far less quality. General lobby area was very nicely done, room was lovely and spacious (loved the touch of the blue light in the bathroom) and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast had lots of options so everyone could find something they liked. Bus stops are a 3 minute walk from the entrance. Just all in all a great time. If I could find it for the same price as I got it for I’d definitely stay again but I doubt I will, this place could charge far more.

The only downside was that me and my partner both thought the scrambled eggs tasted a bit funny and stopped eating them. Everything else at breakfast was great though!

Very clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful right from the moment we walked in - they were also helpful about giving us two wine glasses so we could enjoy the different bottles we procured while touring the city, for in our room and the lounge. The bed was enourmous and very comfortable - and they gave us fresh sheets every day. There was also an exercise bicycle in the room! The location was very accessible as well - we were able to access the bus right out front, and it was a short but enjoyable 10 minute trip into the Westminister area. We will definitely consider staying here again on future trips, and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone thinking of visiting London.

We didn't know this area of the "Battersea Power Station", and over time read about the power station's historical significance and how it's been redeveloped into a new shopping mall with new beautiful apartment buildings alongside it -- amongst which you'll find Pestana Hotel. It's actually very well located. We love to walk, so I'll give you some walking distances: it takes about 3min to reach Battersea Park which is huge at almost half the size of Hyde Park. It takes about the same time to get to the bus station in front of the park. It takes just 4min to reach the Battersea Power Station mall and nearby restaurants. It takes about the same time to get to the Battersea Pier where Thames boats take you to other central London locations. It takes perhaps 10min to get to the nearest tube station. In 30min you'll reach Victoria train station or the Natural History Museum and in under 1h you can walk to Westminster Palace (home of the Parliament and Big Ben). The hotel staff is friendly and with some of them, you can practise your Portuguese, if you prefer. Pestana is a major quality hotel chain in Portugal, and we were not disappointed. The rooms are roomy (pardon the pun) and very well-lit. They are warm, clean, and have all the amenities you'd expect from a quality hotel. This is definitely the place to stay, away from tourist crowds, but close enough to tourist spots to walk.

The location was very good next to the new Battersea Power station shopping center and the Battersea park. There was good transportation options with busses and a new tube station close by. The room we stayed was very nice, spacious and bright. The hotel felt fresh and clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly!

The bed and pillows were very soft and i found them unconfortable. But this might be a personal preference. I did asked the staff for a harder pillow and they did provide me with one. So i was happy with that. Also the shower water pressure was low.

Very nice service minded person at the checking in desk. We came earlier than check in time, but our room was ready in advance. Much appreciated. Nice big room with a great view overlooking two of the towers of Battersea Power Station. Perfect location close to Battersea Park and a lot of restaurants close in the area around Battersea Power Station.

The restaurant didn't live up to our expectations. Ordered a club sandwich with mushrooms according to the meny, and was served without mushrooms.
