The Marylebone Hotel

The care and attention of everyone at The Marylebone Hotel were beyond exceptional. So friendly, attentive, greeting us by name at breakfast ... the service we experienced is better than we've had at The Savoy, The Beaumont and The Corinthia. The room was lovely and guest areas are well appointed with little areas to accommodate guests in areas which afford privacy - a good sized hotel with the feel of a boutique hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Location is really good - a short stroll from Selfridges and Marylebone High Street.

The bathroom was really small, although it had a double shower.

Room was lovely, robe and slippers so soft, great TV. We stayed for a slightly niche reason in that I was having some medical tests in the vicinity, so I stayed in the room most of the time, which would probably be unusual for a hotel stay in central London. But I appreciated all the in room touches!

Lots of the touches are very nice - e.g malin and goetz toiletries, but the in room tea and coffee selections were kind of seventies! Not a massive problem of course, but not in keeping with the rest of the plush experience. Plus the mini bar was empty (fine) and turned off, which meant you couldn't keep the water bottles cold.

Everything about our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. From easy check in to staff who go above and beyond to help. The room itself was beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and my partner commented that the bed was the most comfortable he’d ever slept in Location is also superb with Oxford Street approximately a 10 minute walk.

If I had a pick something, the water temperature in the shower was not very hot and I personally prefer a separate shower than one over the bath. That said, although the bathroom was not very big, it eas immaculately clean. We also had quite an industrial view from our room However both of these are minor points and didn’t spoil our stay.

The attentive staff/ the lobby/ the decoration/ the cleanliness/ the quietness/ housekeeping (they prepared my room for sleeping I loved that)/ the room amenities / i was offered an upgrade for the room/ Jonny by the door is welcoming and enjoyed our chat, he kindly ordered a taxi within 2 minutes/ easy check in and check out.

The small lobby/the tv is slightly old , I could not connect my phone to stream/ doors are not completely sound proof/ very small bathroom.

We have stayed at The Marylebone Hotel many times. It is our home away from home. The staff recognize returning guests and could not be more helpful. The location is premium. We can pretty much walk to anywhere we want to go and the nearby restaurant choice is outstanding. Marylebone is the place to be and The Marylebone Hotel the place to stay. We have recommended to many friends in the US and they always come back.

I stayed 6 nights with my son during which I felt I was in a home-away-from-home as well as very well looked after. Staff were all extremely helpful and appropriately friendly. Room was kept up very nicely twice daily. Sheets and divers were lovely. We did eat quite a bit in our room due to covid and keeping safe and that went very well. We also had room service from the hotel restaurant and that was delicious too. The tea/coffee station worked well for us too and the shortbread much appreciated. I ordered a daily newspaper which was nice to have too. I requested a photocopy and that was looked after perfectly as well as a package I had delivered to the hotel which was placed in our room while we were out. All this combined with the location of the hotel within beautiful London and we were in heaven!

I had asked for a firm pillow and the staff looked allover the hotel and did not have one for which they were really sorry. I did ok though.

Lovely property with everything in the place it should be and the right color palette to the eyes. The staff were polite and efficient. We only found the secret in the sauce on literally our last day before leaving for the airport- their 108 Brasserie. The food was gorgeous and their fresh crab linguini simply the best we have ever tasted (sorry, Italy).

It was a little pricey but to be fair, it was the height of the season.

I liked the room, it was decorated by a modern furniture, clean, and I can open the window little for natural air ventilation and also to check the weather. The location of the hotel is great near the Oxford Street and Marylebone Street. The breakfast I didn't like that much. there were no variety options in the menu and the open buffet was ordinary.
