Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch

Just wonderful staff! We were assigned a room on the top floor, where it was incredibly cold, and the air conditioner wasn't working (or more precisely, we couldn't make the temperature warmer). In the morning, feeling under the weather and disappointed with the room, the reception offered to change our room. Our new room was simply amazing! Warm, beautiful, and cozy! Thanks to the responsive staff, our vacation improved because after long walks, we happily returned to the warm and beautiful room at Nobu.

We didn't buy breakfast at the hotel because the selection was very limited. The only downside is that you have to look for a hearty breakfast in the surrounding area.

the hotel was in a lovely urban neighborhood filled with restaurants, bars, shopping, close to an underground terminal. for us it was an ideal location.

the only thing, and this is not a criticism, more an observation, is that the address and street where the hotel is located is not particuarly well known by the drivers. it seemed like half the time we ordered a car or came back in a taxi the drivers got lost navigating the streets surrounding the property. just a note so future guests don't get frustrated when their driver takes longer than expected to arrive

A well-laid-out and spacious suite. The balcony was a real bonus, even when the weather was wet. So many hotels these days have windows that do not open, which can be quite claustrophobic. The continental breakfast had an excellent choice of nuts and freshly-chopped fruits.

There was no lighting on the table where I frequently sat to read or write, and the living-room in general was too dark. I unfortunately came across a scurrying silver insect (a silverfish, I believe) in the bathroom and on the countertop of the tea/coffee area which is enclosed in a cupboard: I reported this to reception staff on leaving, as it needs investigating and dealing with.

The property was very modern , clean and cosy. The location was perfect for restaurants and bars. The room was extremely spacious with an incredible view. The hotel has an incredible smell surrounding inside and outside which smells delicious. Lots of storage within the room for draws and plenty of hanging space for coats and dresses alongside a safe and hair dryer.

The toilet door did not have a lock on and would not stay closed. The location of the toilet was right next to the bed we feel this would have been better suited where the cloak room is as soon as you walk in the room. We noticed our bedding was ripped Small details were missing such as a toilet brush in the bathroom. The snacks menu you can find on the directory are different to the snacks provided in your room. The mini bar has a wide choice however extremely expensive.

Loved the interior, it was super cosy comfortable and clean. The staff were exceptional and Christopher was extremely polite , informative and prompt. If your looking for a local vibe with good food this is for you! We had a drink in the bar , fantastic cocktails at prices you would expect but the atmosphere is truly what you pay you! Also love that you can smell the hotel before you enter! Would deffo buy some kind of home scent from the Nobu brand

The bathroom floor was very hot… and lights were hard to understand but very minor issues. Irons could improve we ended up with a third iron in the end and ironing board covers washed as it did smell of body odour. But this didn’t detract for the mood and elegance of the property

Friendly staff! Felt very welcomed being our second time visiting. Upon arrival, I was given a hot towel and cold water whilst waiting in the reception area to check in. Alfred Kamara and Ash were our favourite staff members. They made us laugh, met our needs and catered to us throughout our whole stay. Amazing!

Our room key stopped working during our stay, and when we asked to get new keys, a staff member told us we couldn’t until we topped up our card. Not too sure what this meant, never experienced this before. When we asked the staff member why, she didn’t really know what to say to us. However, the manager, (Alfred) approached us and settled the whole matter for us to our liking.

very modern and cool design, contemporary Japanese style; very good food from in room dining and hotel breakfast.

the room might be too dark for those need to work a bit the wifi is not secure hence blocking the connection to some secure setting with my work computer the Nobu restaurant accidentally charged a dinner (£200) to my room...I must say this is rather unprofessional in handling "charge to room" bill (should have verified against the guest name in the record). And the front desk could not settle this right away (as compared to other international hotel chains, which would have immediately taken out the wrong items)...I had to check with the front desk few hours later to retrieve the corrected bill

Great room - huge showers and really comfy bed. The staff are also really lovely and accommodating, they kindly upgraded us and brought a treat to our room for our anniversary.

The prices are a bit steep, it was £5 for a soft drink in the mini bar and we spent £35 on two drinks in the bar, which felt a bit of a rip off. It would be nice if there were more spa facilities or a mixed steam room as my partner and I wanted to go in together not sit on our own in the steam rooms - but equally, it's fine!

Absolutely incredible staff, super helpful and lovely, hotel is gorgeous, room was super clean and smelled amazing when I walked in. Surroundings are stunning, good location too. Staff is definitely what makes this place great, the lady at reception was so lovely and helpful (I'm so sad I didn't take her name), will be returning again (and taking her name so I can leave her another review)!

Really can't fault this stay. Nothing to complain about at all, very happy with my trip. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere beautiful and comfortable to stay in.
