Hart Shoreditch Hotel London, Curio Collection by Hilton

In the heart of the trendiest neighborhood in London lies a particularly pampering gem. Even before arrival, the hotel found out what my wishes were and tried very hard to fulfill them. The room is spotlessly clean, a luxurious bed with soft and fragrant linens. Amazing smart TV. And of course, it's easy to leave the hotel and reach everything the city has to offer.

Like many hotels in the city, the window cannot be opened. In this case it didn't particularly bother me, the room was ventilated and air-conditioned to the exact degree. However, I usually feel suffocated without an open window.

Lovely warm welcome, written welcome message on a slate, an Anniversary bottle of Prosecco with a lovely written message on a slate. Bed and room very comfortable and shower very powerful!

Breakfast could have been better.

The Hart Shoreditch was perfectly situated for a weekend visiting my daughter who works in Shoreditch. We were welcomed by friendly staff and the check-in was quick and easy, the upgrade was an unexpected bonus. Our room looked very luxurious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bar in the evening had a great atmosphere too.

Although the bathroom was very fancy the shower was a bit of a let down. Not much water pressure and the water was luke warm even turned up to the highest, very disappointing. The lighting was very soft but not useful when getting ready. The walls are paper thin too hearing everything that our neighbours were saying fortunately they were respectful and didn't keep us up!

On checking-in we were given the warmest welcome we have ever received from Nerea Justo. Our request for joining rooms when making the booking was met to our total satisfaction. The hotel is stunning, quality superb, location perfect. We stayed for 3 nights and truly enjoyed our visit. Bed, shower, sheets were all luxurious. Given late check out, on a lazy Bank Holiday really was the cherry on top.

A few very minor points which were niggles more than anything:- * A fridge in the Room with water, but the water not replenished after the first night. * No bath robes in the room. * TV could only pick up a few TV stations. So most channels not available in both our rooms. * The cooked items on the Breakfast could have been a bit better quality.

Nice modern hotel. The rooms look like the photos. The room was cleaned every day, I would like to note the cleanliness of the room. There was space to work in the lobby, which is convenient.

There was a slight problem with the dry cleaning. One concierge said they did not provide this service. Another said that you had to hand in your clothes at a certain time. The third one said that they would soon come to our room and take our things away. In the end, nobody took our things. The service needs to be improved.

Breakfast was great with a nice selection of choices. The Barman was very good and quick with orders. The Lobby staff were very helpful with directions and assistance.

It was impossible to see a restaurant menu unless one went and asked for one. Due to this we booked another restaurant over the road insead of eating in the Hotel. There was a DJ in the bar which was a very loud since we were the only couple there and were are over 60's and the music was of an African beat (just not to our taste unfortunately). The area was too small for that volume.

The location of the property is great, near the tube (5min walking distance). The staff are really friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and neat. Towels are changed daily. The bar downstairs is very good. Breakfast is tasty but a-la-carte only.

There is only one small wardrobe in the room, so it is impossible to empty your suitcase and/or hang your suit/dress/shirts. There are 3 different lights blinking all night (I am a light sleeper). It was explained to us that those are safety lights, neverthess they are a bit annoying. Pillows were not very comfortable. A/C was humming for 20more minutes after it was turned off. Breakfast is not buffet - this was not stated anywhere at the time of the reservation, it is only a-la-carte.

The property is at a great location, Shoreditch is a very hip place and it’s just in 5 min walking distance from two tube stations. There are many bars ,pubs and restaurants in the area. The rooms were clean,comfortable and fitted with all the necessities. Though a bit small the quality of materials was good and the staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel also has a bar at the lobby and has a great vibe all together.

The location is great for exploring East London with a plethora of restaurants and shops as well as iconic Brick Lane, Spitalfields Market and Redchurch Street within walking distance. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful - the essence of the area in a building - with little design touches giving it a modern, comfortable atmosphere. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the room was great; really comfortable had everything we needed: super soft bedding, a fridge (great to have and way too rare in the UK), a few books to read and enough space to feel at home in after a day out and about. An added bonus were big bottle toiletries, which reduce packaging and waste.

There was a plastic bottle of water in the fridge and a few sachets of instant coffee bt the kettle. That's not the level of quality and sustainability I would expect at this price range. Why not have a refillable glass bottle and a coffee machine with compostable pods? I've had both at less pricey options in the same area.

Loni at reception was fantastic! We arrived earlier than check-in time and she was able to find us a room, as it was my birthday and she was so kind. The rooms were beautiful, with a spacious shower and comfortable beds. The rooms were equipped with irons, hairdryers, and coffee and tea sets. It was a fantastic choice for my birthday and all the staff were incredibly friendly. The location was perfect too, within walking distance of Liverpool Street station and Brick Lane. I will definitely be coming back again!

I could not fault this place at all.
