Citadines Barbican London

Really nice and cozy place, with super friendly stuff! Our room was clean and comfy. Nice area, only 1 min, from metro or bus stations surrounded with barbican and london museum. In the lobby you can get a free coffee or tea.

We stayed here overnight for a night out in london and were pleasantly surprised with the room. It was well decorated, good amenities, chromecast tv, nice little kitchen space, decent sized fridge and a nice bathroom! The bed was comfy, the curtains were blackout and there was a full length mirror. Staff were very accommodating and welcoming. I also think the check in and check out times are very gracious and it's great they can accommodate that.

You can definitely hear the noise easily through walls/doors but I always expect this in London hotel to be honest. Otherwise everything was great!

Excellent room facilities and staff were extremely helpful with prompt service when needed. Superb location which was easy to reach the main tourist destinations. All my requests were honoured without question e.g. twin beds and 4 rooms close together plus we were allowed to check in early as the rooms were ready.

The noises created by the water pipes to the room was noisy and did disturb during the night but this may have only been our room. A little pricey compared to what I usually pay but it was a special occasion and the London Marathon was the next day so just pleased I found anything at all for 8 people!

The room is cute and cosy, plenty of space, a nice spacious bathroom, everything feels modern. The complimentary tea and coffee in the entrance is nice, although the coffee is instant. Superb location, I was on a trip to the Barbican but outside of that the location felt great with plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafes, and tubes nearby. Also good value for money considering what you can get in London for the same price.

They told us we had to request cleaning except a cleaning person was still knocking on the door. A little confusing!

Excellent hotel, very clean and welcoming. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The free coffee machine in the reception was very good quality and a nice extra. The rooms were nice and bright with very comfy beds and a nice size bathroom with a very good shower. A small detail but important good quality toilet paper. All necessary items in the room including water, kettle, iron and ironing board and hair dryer. Nice bedding and choice of pillows. Good heating and air-conditioning.Plenty of sockets on both sides of bed. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff were pleasant, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. The location is great, near underground stations and bus stations so easy to get around from there. Has wine shop, small grocery shop within short walking distance. It's close to the William Wallace memorial and Smithfield where there are some of the oldest buildings in London (with the transport links easy to go where there is food for your liking)

There was not many food places nearby with my taste, no pie places. Apart from la bahn mi but it was closed.

The room was great along with the facilities. I was very pleased that the room had a Chromecast, this is something that I believe more places should adopt. Although the location was lacking in the atmosphere it was still well situated as it was close to some amazing landmarks and close to transport.

Some of the staff seemed unwilling to help and lacking interpersonal skills. When we requested to book a taxi/cab following our checkout, we were told that they needed to be booked a day in advance. When we also picked up our luggage we had to retrieve it ourselves. Small things but services we were offered at all previous hotels we stayed at during our trip.

such a clean property, well equipped with kettle and microwave and fridge in the rooms which was amazing as I had my 6 month old baby. free use of the travel cot which was in great condition. staff so friendly and the lobby coffee machine being free also was a nice touch! very accommodating and child friendly. great location close to tubes and bus and restaurants and cafes. plenty of towels. tv in room was great with plenty of Chanels, hair dryer and iron and ironing board. so well equipped and super clean.

nothing, all was great. bed slightly uncomfortable but the good out weighed this.

Charming and very helpful receptionists, welcome coffee in reception, quiet clean calm interior of building, and thoughtful well-informed architectural and interior design decisions.

Barbican Tube Station is a disgrace and should be rebuilt. Streets in the area are amazingly devoid of trees and gardens. The total Tesco supermarket is small, poorly resourced and seems unreasonably committed to mediocre 'meal deals'. Citadine Barbican will improve further when it regains its integrated cafe.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We were able to check in earlier. Even though it is an apartment and not a hotel (no cleaning services included), they still were very flexible with things like extra coffee or clean cups and offered us a breakfast the first day. The tube is was almost next door! And also some key busses stopped right in front of the hotel.

I wasn't actually aware there was no service included, but that is probably my own mistake for not reading :-). The bed was relatively small from what we are used too.
