Several steep flights of stairs to bedrooms would make it unsuitable for people with mobility problems as there is no lift

Convenient transportation, both subway stations are not far away. The breakfast is abundant, with self-service and optional meals. The rooms are cleaned well. I stayed for 5 days, and the room was cleaned every day. All beddings were changed daily. Very satisfied! The only thing is that the door can't be locked from the inside. At first, I was a bit concerned, but later I realized it's the same for all rooms, and it's still safe! I initially stayed on a higher floor on the first day, and when there was a vacant room on the second day, I requested a room change, which was very satisfying.

The breakfasts were delicious. Had the choice of Continental breakfast or order from the menu. Our room was quiet (Senator Room) which pleasantly surprised me because of the high noise level on the ground floor (Sunday at a sports bar)😁. Beds were very comfortable. Nice sized bathroom. Large shower with good water pressure. The gentleman who checked us in was very kind and patient, in spite of all the activities (game day, packed out with sports fans, tending bar and serving meals). I don’t know how he did it!

It was extremely hot in our room, only because it was unusually hot outside. We were provided with one oscillating fan which didn’t help much. The windows (1 in bedroom and 1 in bathroom) opened, but there was another window outside those windows & they did not open. We were finally able to get one more oscillating fan the second night which helped create a little cross breeze. The number of stairs to get to our room was challenging (probably because of our age plus dragging luggage with us).

Pub/restaurant below (1st level - rooms floors above) it’s great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Close to tube stations and a grocery store just a block away. The staff were great especially Michelle, who went above and beyond; with getting us into a room early (jet lagged). She even helped with the luggage. A patron of the Belle gave us a lift to the train station in his Rover. Locals and staff are friendly and genuinely real. They see to it, one’s stay is memorable. I’d definitely would stay there again.

Only thing was no A/C for summer and windows did not open but an oscillating fan in the room helped.

What a joy it was to stay at this hidden gem - The Griffen Bell. It is clean, tastefully decorated and staffed by the most courteous folk we have had the good fortune to meet in our travels. We especially loved the ceiling decor and the Miami beach scene. The pub and restaurant had a very wide selection of beverages and food. The Bad Boy breakfast is supremely delicious and a challenge to eat- very generous portions. My wife had the Avocado/Guac toast -sublime. The room was very clean and everything worked as it should. Had a very quiet and restful sleep. It also within 10 minutes walk from the Vauxhall tube stationary and the US Embassy. How convenient! The staff members were all very keen to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable- they did not disappoint. Kudo to all at the Griffen Bell.. heartily recommend and will return.

My stay at the Vauxhall Belle was exceptional. It was in the heart of Vauxhall, and so easy to get to. When I arrived, it was very welcoming and beautifully decorated- with its own character. The hotel receptionist welcomed me with a complementary orange juice which I thought was a great touch since I travelled from Coventry. I then was taken to my beautiful room which exceeded my expectations- it was just like a home away from home. I loved the neon lights and floral decor. The continental breakfast was a really good start to my day, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff, food, drink, bed and facilities were a 10/10.

My only worry with this hotel was the poor wifi. I was staying in Montenary- I think it was the 3rd floor and the wifi was not that good however once I raised this with the hotel manager, he immediately found a solution. So professional and attentive.

Breakfast was great! Full English breakfast for my husband and bacon on a bagel for me. Great location near the subway. Large bathroom in a double twin room. Large screen t.v. and fun bar atmosphere downstairs. We were prepared for it to be loud late into the evening and it wasn't! That was a bonus! Sean, the manager, was awesome! He was charming, entertaining, warm and kind. He really did seem like a friend by the time we left. Bego (Bingo, Begonia), the cook, was talented, funny, hard-working and friendly. Wictor (Victor) helped take our bags up, promptly met all our needs and never stopped smiling. Casia had a warm, gentle smile. She made sure we were comfortable and happy. All-in-all, these employees enhanced this cute establishment! If we go back to London, I will make sure to stay here again.

It was super hot for the two days we were in London (85 degrees). I don't blame the hotel for the weather, of course. But there was no a/c. So, we made the best of it with a fan and an open window. This did not diminish our opinion of anything.

The staff was phenomenal. The Manager was beyond accommodating, even going so far as to changing our room because it was more accessible for our baby and stroller. They also provided a travel cot, even though Booking.com said they didn't have one. We travelled for an Embassy appointment, and they allowed us to keep our extra things in the room even if the appointment ran past check out. The dinner and breakfast was great, the wait staff was great. 100% will look to book here again before looking anywhere else if we need to return to London.

On arrival, I was greeted with a half-pint and taken to my room. The service was excellent and everyone I spoke to was really lovely - the small things like the staff remembering you're a guest when you're at the bar, to the warm welcome at breakfast. Breakfast itself was really excellent - I went for the cooked breakfast of just fried eggs and hashbrowns as I don't eat meat, and the eggs were cooked really well and the hashbrowns were nice and crunchy. The venue itself is really nicely decorated (very cute!) and it's in a convenient location to Nine Elms tube (so really easy to get to from Euston) and also close to a big shop to get some bits if you were there for a few days. I have already recommended it to friends and I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing to dislike.

What a hidden gem of a place. Would definitely return. Staff very friendly and welcoming especially Sean. Complimentary drink upon arrival, easy check in and the room was spotless. Tea and coffee facilities always a bonus 😊 We chose to grab a bite to eat before we left for the evening (having seen someone eating when we arrived) and it didn’t disappoint. Breakfast which was included in the price had the option of either continental or a full English with tea/coffee or a selection of juices . I opted for the continental and my daughter had the full English. Lovely selection for me of pastries, fruit, cheeses & meats, cereal & toast with eggs on the side and the full English was spot on for my girl. Will definitely return and hats off to the The Griffin Belle for making our stay pleasant and easy
