I think I was erroneously charged for breakfast the 1st day. Room cleaning was non-existent until we complained - twice. Other issues included: - lack of proactivity on check-in to offer balcony key - hotel alarm going off on Monday trapping & freaking out my wife, without any prior warning - dirty hallways (dust and crumbs on floors) - key escalator going down from 1st floor (breakfast) to ground floor broken for 3/4 days; at the same time, for some absurd reason, lifts not stopping or callable on floor 1

The receptionist Halina was brilliant. Really informative. Went out of her way to help with London marathon information. Efficient, non time wasting . Everything you need with checking in. Restuarant was great. Staff were wonderful. Drinks were great. Room was comfortable. Really appreciated restaurant serving breakfast earlier for London marathon participants. Also appreciated table set up with bananas and gels for marathon. Great location for end of Race. Short distance from end.

Just there for a short time. Didn't make use of spa because of time constraints.

good value for money and lovely facilities. I liked the divide between the rooms. The location was perfect very central.

on booking.com the room we booked which was a suite with river view showed a view of Big Ben on the photos but when we got there it was the other side without a Big Ben view. When questioning this we were told the Big Ben view is only available with balcony rooms. perhaps a little misleading with the photos you advertise for the room. The main reason we booked a suite river view was purely for Big Ben so this was a disappointment to us.

I was upgraded to a suite upon check in. This is a very spacious room, fantastic bed and beautiful view of the Thames. I thought that the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly and the breakfast was much better than I expected. There was very good variety, fresh and well worth it.

My only complaints would be that the bedroom door was adjoining another room. This was not sealed well and I had very noisy, till very late guests on the other side. I had an early appointment so needed to get to sleep early in my large comfy bed and then was unable to sleep. This happened both nights of my stay. My other complaint would be some of the guests who abandoned their delivery food into the hall way spilling and staining the carpet. This was totally disrespectful to both others and staff!

the view from the room was exceptional (1479) and the location fantastic!

our room was not cleaned or serviced even when we pressed the service button and were out all day. no fresh towels, coffees, biscuits etc.. and our room service was not cleared.

I loved the view from our room, it was very astonishing. I actually paid for the view and I don't regret my money. The staff was very customer oriented, everyone was cool and friendly.

I went with my fiance to celebrate his birthday and I have paid to have the celebration package, which included the room decoration upon arrival. Unfortunately, nothing was done when we arrived and that was really disappointing, because it was supposed to be a surprise for my fiance 😒😏. But I was refunded the celebration package. Another thing, the walls are not soundproof at all, I heard the guests in the room above ours having sex from start to finish, and I could hear every details of their conversations. All that noise really stopped me from sleeping. I guess it's too late for the sound, but if there's something that can be done to make the walls and ceilings sound proof , please do. Thank you.

Large comfortable rooms and the big bed The pool and sauna was a great bonus which led us to select this hotel

The sauna and steam room were very good. Booking times for pool use was good because the area is not big enough to accommodate large number of people. We booked a king room with kitchenette and it was very nice and useful for our stay with two small children. The kitchenette included a microwave, washer/dryer and good sized refrigerator and we used all three. The size of the room and bathroom was good with plenty of space and storage areas. Our kids were happy with the room, and we were happy. We would stay again.

The mattress on the pull out sofa bed was flat and springy as though it had never been opened and used before, but I was able to sleep well enough. I also thought the pool water and area could have been warmer. The pool/sauna area could be bigger and if it was would attract more guests because not many hotels have indoor pools in London.

I needed to print some tickets which was done for me without charge and the guys in the office there couldn't have been more helpful. The doorman getting you into your taxi was also extremely helpful. Good sized room, good wifi, good T.V. Loved the size of the bath for a good soak after a long day walking around London. Perfect location for all of Westminster, the houses of parliament, big ben, the london eye, sealife aquarium , no. 10 Downing Street all within walking distance.

The black interior and neon lighting made the foyer feel more like a casino than a hotel. It did not encourage sitting down relaxing. I was very disappointed with the hot offering at breakfast, nothing fresh, all prepared well in advance and sweated and stewed in a buffet. Tea & Coffee had to be made yourself which could be slow depending on how busy it is. The water for the tea was not from a plugged in boiler so was not hot. Don't know what brand the cereals were but they tasted cheap. No Kellog's Cornflakes or anything near that quality. Customer service as in all walks of life has been replaced by self service. Get as much as possible yourself.

The staff in the bar were not very friendly. We wanted some ice to put in our ice bucket in the room as we had brought some wine with us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My husband went to ask if we could have some and after initially ignoring him they said we'd have to pay for it. I feel a hotel of this standing should be able to provide free ice for its customers. It is after all just frozen tap water
