The room was clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Great location, very nice and friendly staff. The hotel provided us with towels. Bathroom was well equiped with soap, shower gel, shampoo/hair conditioner and body lotion. In the room, there was coffee machine, kettel, hair dryer, fan, flat screen TV, jar of sweets and tea/coffee. As a guest, we got 10% discount at the pub (delicious pizza & beer & sport events on big screen). Across the street, there is a bus stop. Less than 10 min away, there is an underground station. Totally recommend!

Herbal scent of cosmetics

We have quite enjoyed staying at the Ship rooms. The location seemed more like a residential area. It was easy to get to the main attractions if you're visiting London for that. In walking distance, there are a few good restaurants too. The beds we comfortable, and the rooms were clean. Overall, the area was silent.

It would be great to have breakfast, but that's not a downside, as you can find it around, and the pricing is very fair for London. We didn't have the rooms cleaned for the three days we stayed, but maybe we missed some information given to us. We honestly didn't mind either, as they were pretty clean.

We were expecting a somewhat old room above a noisy pub but were pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was and will def come back! :) - room was huge (compared to usual hotel rooms in London) - greeted by suuuuper friendly staff of the pub (10% discount at the pub was nice, too) - room was very nicely decorated and super clean - coffee, milk and tap water are provided free of charge - several bus stops within 1-5 minutes from the hotel, tube (subway) station was a 10 minutes walk, so very quick connections to central London - we didn’t really hear any noise of the pub in the evening (even with the windows open)

The staff were attentive and clear. The place was really well furnished and cute. Despite being centrally located in London it's very quiet. The pub closes early on Sunday, which made sleeping very easy. They give you a discount downstairs which looks great (but unfortunately we had other plans). They have thought about many details to make your stay comfortable which were great add-ons, so I was really impressed for an inn above a pub.

The bed is a bit firm, but that's true for any place that's not my home bed. The shower did not drain well. Those were my only real complaints.

Our stay at the Ship Rooms was incredible! We were able to drop our bags off earlier than check-in time, and were allowed into the bar area to plan our day and get changed (this was before the bar was even open for customers). At the end of our stay we were also able to leave our bags in the back area while we attended a convention and didn't want to have to carry around our travellers backpacks. The staff were exceptionally helpful! They don't mind you ordering a pint at the bar and enjoying it in the privacy of your booked room :)

Our room was one of the more recent additions so the cables weren't completely set-up yet for TV, but that wasn't an issue for us as we had a laptop and the Wifi still worked perfectly well!

Rooms are charming, perfect mix between modern and old fashioned, with all the necessary amenities of 2023 civilization and antiqueish furniture. The room was actually bigger than most Hotel rooms. Staff was always helpful and friendly. We got a glass of sweets, a water heater and an espresso maker. We could grab water and milk (with a vegan option) from the fridge upstairs. There is a modern fan ( we didn't need it), shower gel and shampoo and a hair dryer. Connections are great. There's a Bus stop around the corner that will get you right to Westminster and Soho. There's also a small store where you can get basic needs stuff and a small cafe to grab coffee and a small breakfast. Great choice if Hotels are too expensive for you but you still want to have some comfort.

Shower is small and only the rainforest showerhead worked also there is a hand held one. Windows only open a little.

Gorgeous pub with rooms close to Corsica Studios, Printworks and Elephant and Castle (we loved Lenos and Carbon restaurant in Elephant Square Arches). The staff were all really welcoming, friendly and helpful and we enjoyed evening drinks downstairs in a chilled atmosphere with a great playlist unobtrusively in the background. You can order delicious Flatboys pizzas (or have these in your room). The rooms are compact and beautifully decorated with fluffy, hypoallergenic duvets and plenty of plump pillows. Our shower room in room 7 was spotlessly clean and well stocked with luxurious toiletries. Our room was at the back of the building and very peaceful. There are generous jars in each room with retro sweets, a selection of teabags and you can make fresh coffee. There's a shared fridge with plenty of chilled tap water, milk (oat and dairy).

Unfortunately there's no lift so the stairs may present a challenge

Wonderful friendly helpful staff. Made the start of stay just perfect The room and bathroom was super clean, the bed amazingly comfortable with crisp white sheets. Just wish i could have put the bed in my case. Beautiful tea and proper coffee with a fridge outside the door with bottles of chilled water and fresh milk. 10%off all bar fod and drinks but we didn't fancy pizza so the bar staff were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants.. I hate to say anything negative but i think it could be easily dealt with. The fridge outside the room was fantastic but rather noisy at night

The rooms were completely modern and well refurbished with a massive bed and great power shower Super central within about a 10-15min walk to Big Ben and close to Kennington Tube which will take you to Westminster, the City or beyond easily. Nice little touches like free water and a proper coffee machine and little candies. Pub shuts at 11 weekdays and 12 weekends so would only affect you if you were back before then, and besides it's pretty quiet towards the end of the pubs opening hours. Really surprised me and surpassed my expectations for the price of what is basically a Westminster hotel in all but name.

Toilet seat was a bit wonky and they need to get the limescale remover out on it.

They did not offer breakfast, but on the first floor there is a Pub with very friendly staff, there they prepared lunch and dinner of light dishes (pizzas, french fries, etc). The location is really excellent, public buses constantly pass by the front that take you to the main tourist places, just minutes away. Definitely very well located

For the type of accommodation there is not much to improve, any lack that we could find was solved by the staff.
