NOX Waterloo

it couldn’t be better located. Step out to weekday lunch market. Minutes to Waterloo or Lambeth North stations. Walk to Westminster etc. Room 101 was large and comfy but like all hotels gets the lighting wrong. Delighted to have a writing surface, but couldn’t see. Again like all hotels, it’s too hot, and there’s no alternative to the doona. Why don’t they supply a top sheet and blanket? You have to close the windows against noise at night (very effective) which makes it even hotter. Having a kitchenette was very handy but despite my asking, they couldn’t supply a tea towel. Terrific walk-in shower but no towel rails except a ridiculous heated thing that was too small.

Chipped crockery. Won’t supply toilet brush. Grating chairs on floor - only needs those chair leg pads. Rubbish isn’t separated.

Modern building. comfy beds. reading lights. air con. small kitchenette. amazing rainfall shower. cupboard space is good.

our room was close to reception and staff were a little noisy, but only after 8am. rooms are very tight but functional.

Location was great, even in a lower room facing the street: very little noise, other than the carts preparing the stalls for the market in the morning. The kitchen had all necessary implements, and having a supermarket right across the street (and plenty others very close) saved us a ton in breakfast and even an early dinner or two. Smart TV is a nice touch, to play music right from our YouTube account. USB outlets on both sides of the bed, so you can skip the power adapter.

I can't think of anything we didn't like about the Nox. There was some construction noise in the lower levels, and a bit of noise in the morning, but none of it was excessive, and the hours were right as we were getting ready to leave for the day.

This hotel is nothing too fancy but it is a great base for visiting London. The room was very nice with a great shower and a comfortable bed, and our particular room had a small kitchenette which came in handy. The staff were helpful and accommodating and the place felt very secure. The real star of the show, however, is the location. The hotel is in a lovely pedestrian area with shops, cafes, and restaurants that was so pleasant to walk around. It is also only a few minutes walk from Waterloo Station which is great for getting trains or the tube. We would definitely stay again due to the lovely location.

There could be a bit of noise from the hall but that is hard to avoid in hotels. We had no major dislikes.

Great location for central London, nice and quiet despite being behind Waterloo. Convenient to have a Santander docking station on the same street. Very stylish décor, plenty of space, nice shower/bathroom, comfy bed and good AC. I particularly appreciated the coffee machine and complimentary coffee pods. All of that for a great price considering the going rate in London!

It would be nice to have a dishcloth for the kitchen (since a sponge and washing up liquid are supplied). There was a leak in the corridor ceiling, though in fairness that was promptly dealt with.

Location is ridiculously good, especially if you're travelling from the South and want easy access to transport throughout London easily - it's almost strange that more people don't think to try and stay in this area! Room was kitted out nicely - Smart TV, lovely bathroom with rain/handheld shower, Nespresso machine and a great kitchenette tucked away with fridge, hob, microwave and cutlery etc. which is such a nice touch even if you're bringing back leftovers to reheat!

The room we stayed in was advertised as being a basement apartment with no windows - we expected to be cosy (was bigger than expected) - the main downfall being that it seemed to have no soundproofing on the interior, could hear housekeeping through door and everything going in and out of the reception area. The other rooms on this level might be great but avoid G03 ;)

We loved the location. Lower Marsh was definitely a great vibe. We were even able to catch their pop up market one of the days we were there. We were close to waterloo train station and from there most of the sights we wanted to see were no more than 2-4 train stops away. We intend to return and we will most likely stay here again if rooms are available then

The elevator and hallway had a bit of a musty odor, as if someone had left a load of clothes sitting in the washer for a few days. It didn't enter the rooms though so it didn't bother us that much.

Location , space, staff particularly the lady who cleans and changes the the room.

Worst! was no bedding available after asking a staff member for it , the put me up bed only had a very thin sheet given to us ,as I was with my grandaughter!. Hair dryer sounded like a jet engine as the motor bearings were shot, asked for a spare.none available. Light on extractor fan in dark cooking area not working. The above spoiled our trip and does nothing to help your reviews. We would come again but for the above.

Prime location for a tourist trip to London. Very easy to reach from the international trainstation. Close to the underground. A small 10min walk from the Big Ben and the London Eye. Very friendly housekeeping staff. Our room had a view on the London Eye.

We asked in advance to check out an hour later we were told it was ok be we should ask the next morning. The next morning we were told it was not possible to check out an hour later. A small unfortunate miscommunication. There also wasnt enough cutlery in the room. The bed was very small for two people.

The staff where very friendly and helpful. Although we had checked out, we left our luggage at reception while we went to a show. On our way back to collect our luggage we walked 40 minutes through a torrential down pour and arrived at the hotel soaked to the skin. We were kindly handed some towels and were able to strip of and dry off and change our clothes in their toilet facilities. The hotel decor was very modern in style and very clean throughout the hotel and our room. Room facilities were good and it's location handy for what we had planned.

There was nothing not to like during our one night stay. It was clean and comfortable and in a great location for our plans in London over the two days. If I was very picky the bed was a little short in length, but this didn't detract from our stay.
