Marlin Waterloo

The location of this property is absolutely fantastic. one minute walk away from the tube station that can get you anywhere in the city. Right downstairs is a small grocery store as well as coffee shop. 8 minute walk away from The Eye and The Queen’s Walk and from the Waterloo tube station that you can take several different lines from. Staff was friendly.

Facilities were not clean. Grout in shower tile was black and there was some blue cleaning gel stained on shower wall. Room was okay but not worth cost and were not luxurious at all. Also, for the price, you would expect daily room cleans however the property only cleans the room fully on every fourth day. Be Aware as this isn’t stated clearly on the hotel listing page.

Great location for exploring London - close to tube and Southbank. Walking distance to everywhere. Room was great size for the three of us and the little kitchenette area was very handy. Strong power shower.

Nothing. Just a note that if you are driving there isn't anywhere to park in front of the hotel to drop off bags as it's in front of a bus lane. Parking is available 2 mins away.

The hotel was centrally located to tourist spots with ta bus stop within feet of the hotel, very convenient. The beds were comfortable and nice to have a kitchen. The breakfast was convenient and nice. The hotel is on a busy street, but was pleasantly quiet in the rooms.

The room was tight, with the pullout couch being used. Couldn't really move or store things when opened. For a family of 4 with two teenagers, it was a little cramped. But it is still a nice place to stay for a short period of time.

Room was clean and quiet, good noise insulation. Housekeeping every two days at the moment, fresh towels daily on request. Location is good next to 'Pret a manger' for breakfast and near bus and tube station. Received delayed check out until 1.30pm for £30.

For unknown reasons the air conditioning switches off in the middle of the night and needs to be turned on again. - very strange! Other: Had to ask twice for fresh towels.

The hotel was very close to the subway. It was easy to get almost everywhere also by walking. The location was convenient. The room was spacious. There is tea and coffee in the room; a small but good detail. Although it is close to the railways it was not noisy as long as you don't open the windows.

The cleaning could have been better. I had to ask for cleaning services three times because the first time the cleaning staff came to the room but did not empty the bathroom trash, which I think was particularly important. And they didn't put coffee and tea although we drank them already:-( The second time they didn't come because they do the cleaning service in two day periods. Fortunately, the third time they did empty all the trash bins and put coffee and tea.

Room was clean and big enough for 4. Great location. We had all that we need in the room (microwave, fridge, plates, glasses, forks, tv, etc). Friendly and helpful staff! Restaurants, grocery and food stores in the area. WI-FI was good.

Railway is near so you might hear some trains - not disturbing. There were some noises (like from washing machine or similar) coming from nearby rooms after 10PM. Sofa bed was not so comfortable but good enough.

Location was superb 5 minute walk to London Eye and all attractions

Room was absolutely spot on but I'm afraid the bed mattress could really do with upgrading oh my they are really uncomfortable! But as for everything else Staff/ location/cleaniness/ really really helpful and polite staff spot on, my only complaint would be the discomfort of the bed. I wouldn't essitate to book here again if the beds were abit more comfortable.

Location is great, 1 minute walk from tube station. Its situated close to everything in central London. Facilities are great. You can find almost everything you need in the room, fridge, microwave, stove, wardrobe… Bed is very comfortable to sleep in. Given the price point and location, this hotel is hard to beat.

breakfast choices are limited, and is 15 pounds. it is only served between 7-9am. So you are better off not purchasing breakfast from the hotel, and buying it elsewhere. No early check-in before 3pm.

Location is very good - walking distance to the metro/train station, London eye within 7 min walk. Very VERY comfortable beds

Room could been bigger - having in mind we were 4 (2 adults, 2 kids), there was no place really to stand, when a sofa was made for a bed. No place for luggage in the room. Sink didn't work properly - water didn't go down
