The hotel and staff were amazing. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back again. It was my partners 60th birthday and the staff went out of there way to give us the best time. A particularl thank you to Chris. He was very professional and friendly and made us most welcome as did all the staff. The room was lovely and we were upgraded to a junior suite which was such a lovely surprise. We have stayed in many hotels all over the world. L'oscar is definitely now one of our favourites. Can't wait to come again.

Nothing. It was perfect in every way

This was a magnificent venue. The staff was professional and fully attentive to every detail. The room was beautifully appointed, luxurious, and comfortable. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to feel pampered and well-served..

There was nothing to not like. Breakfast service was a bit slow and perhaps they were a bit understaffed, but the food was delicious and the servers were very gracious and as attentive as time permitted them. Dinner service was nothing less than exquisite in every way.

The place is very beautiful and the staff really make you feel like you are an honoured guest. The stay was for a birthday and they prepared a lovely surprise which we did not expect! Also upgraded the room for free, which was fabulous! Service wise I think it's the best 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in.

Baptist bar was closed but I was told that beforehand. A small fitness/gym room would've been nice but it's not a big deal. Keep in mind that its a small hotel.

The staff were incredibly professional & helpful - they made a great deal of effort to ensure our stay was special. The hotel has lovely detail & a luxurious feel, with great design features. The bed was huge & very comfortable. The bar / dining area was beautiful & the cocktails delicious.

We'd booked this hotel & a deluxe king room specifically for the feature bathroom but on arrival we discovered that deluxe king rooms vary greatly & not all have baths. The staff were very helpful & were able to find us a room with a bath but it was nowhere near as the photos had suggested (which I understand is another deluxe room). With hindsight, we should have contacted the hotel in advance to request a room with a bath as whilst our room was very nice, our expectations had been set higher.

Perfectly located for both Covent Garden and Hatton Garden, the best two gardens in London, this is an exceptional boutique hotel. It’s dark and enveloping when you enter, it’s got a slightly dark magic / reading room vibe which is lovely. The feel of this hotel is special, and the staff are brilliant.

Maybe more vegan choices, but honestly you could say that anywhere, the vegan breakfast was great.

We had a suite on the 7th floor. It was absolutely wonderful. A lovely en-suite with bath, shower and two basins. Impeccably decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed and bedding were excellent and like sleeping on a cloud. Hotel is conveniently located just outside the madness of the West End, but near enough that it isn't inconvenient. Very quiet considering the location. The staff couldn't do enough for you and we a credit to the hotel.

Hotel was a bit dark, but this was OK, as you knew they wasn't trying to hide anything when doing it. It was just a part of the ambiance. Breakfast was not super hot, but cooked fresh and quality ingredients. If you like a strong tea, make sure you let them know, as ours was like coloured water, which some may like, but we like a very strong tea. They gave us coffee as a replacement, which was lovely. So, they just dealt with it and no complaints or attitude. Price was a bit punchy, but I felt worth it.

Firstly, the public spaces of the hotel are very well-appointed and it certainly has the atmosphere and service that justify the price point. The bar is well-stocked given the current limitations presented by Brexit, and has an extremely friendly, chatty, and knowledgeable bar staff all versed in classic cocktails. As for the restaurant, the duck was really very well-cooked and immensely enjoyable, the wine list is well-rounded, the food came promptly, and the prices were reasonable. I had a basic room, where the use of space was fantastic, with plenty of storage and a very spacious bathroom that included a waterfall showerhead. The hotel itself is centrally located with plenty of landmarks, shopping, eating, and drinking to be had within a twenty minute walk. Furthermore, it's located within a few hundred meters of the Underground. Would certainly stay here again without hesitation.

Post-Brexit some goods from continental Europe are at premium price points, or simply not available. As a result, all cocktail lovers going to the UK should be prepared to make some concessions. Of note, amaros are particularly difficult to get.

Loved the atmosphere. Restaurant was terrific - unexpected bones in fish only downside there. attention to detail at its height and willing to work with customers.

location lacking and request response of hotel service lacking. the housekeeps were good, not perfect, but good.

L'Oscar London is an absolute gem and by far one of our favourite hotels. The staff is enormously friendly and helpful, they tend to your every need and really put their best foot forward to make your stay memorable. The rooms are the definition of luxurious comfort and the location is ideal: you can walk to nearby hotspots such as Covent Garden, take the tube on the corner or stop a taxi at the entrance of the hotel.

I was presented with the bill which included service charge and I paid it. On further enquiry it turns out this a voluntary! payment to the cleaning staff of 5 per cent. The breakfast was extremely expensive. Again no explanation of prices
