Comfort Inn Edgware Road W2

Great location just 3-4 minutes walk from Edgware Road underground and a bus stop just a few metres away with buses straight to Oxford Street. I got a genius and flash sale discount for the weekend which made it excellent value. The room and en suite bathroom were very clean, the bedding and towels were fresh, good shower, TV and tea and coffee facilities. The A/C was lovely and quiet and really appreciated as we were having a September heatwave at the time.

There was some noise from outside traffic even with the window closed, but I guess that's expected when staying in the heart of a city. I've had much worse though and the hotel supplied ear plugs which was a nice touch and they worked well.

Upon arrival the staff were very polite. Check in was fast, they do check I.D. On entry to the bedroom 1 times double bed and 1 single they are comfortable they come with 1 pillow each but spare pillows on the cupboardif needed and the bed covers are good quality, it was spacious and clean. They do have a flat screen t.v (not smart but we didnt book in for a smart t.v). The lights are activated by your card but if you do remove the card from the power supply it will stop the electricity after a few minutes so leave it in if you have people in the room. Staff do clean the rooms but items were not removed from the room they were placed back to where they were left so they are honest and that itself makes you feel at home. Breakfast included a variety of breakfast items, cereal, toast, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, boiled eggs, cheese, a juice machine for fresh juice and a coffee machine what give you options on different hot drinks and also sealed tea bags so you can pick what cup of tea you want (fruit flavoured also). With the Inn on a busy street (you are provided a pair of ear plugs) but with how busy the roads were I was not disturbed by any noise at all and the ear plugs were not used. The room is warm to where the temperature was 0°c outside we needed air con to cool the room down so it is a warm Inn. There is a lift what will accommodate 1 wheelchair only or a pram with another person if needed. The staff will let you leave pram/wheelchair in the dining area if you want. Staff at on desk 24/7. For a stay for 1 adult a 15 year old and 3 year old we really enjoyed our stay, we did have family members what also had another room which we got rooms next door what was a bonus. The price including breakfast on the time of our stay was great price and it was worth it. Myself and my sister have said we would stay here again. Thank you for having us especially at a last minute book.

Rooms were tidy and clean, loved the fact there were tea/coffee facilities. After a busy day, this was just what was needed. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice to fill you up for the day ahead. The children loved the pancake machine, even more so for the fact they could operate it themselves. Convenient location too.

The neighbourhood was very lively but there wasn't much to do besides grab some food. Luckily the hotel was located just 5 minutes away from the train station. So it was easy to get around the city. The room was pleasant. Not a lot of noise from the outside, and I could prepare my own tea, which is always nice.

Not much to complain about really. It's not super luxurious, but it's got everything you need. It's a very solid option if you're looking for a short stay in London!

I have stayed at this location on a number of occasions and always find the staff friendly and helpful. Having breakfast included is a great way to start the day and again the staff in the dining area have always been friendly. The rooms are clean and I like having the tea/coffee making facility. The location is perfect being relatively close to a tube station. I always feel comfortable, safe and secure which is so important as a lone traveller.

The last time I stayed I found the bathroom was quite small and access to the shower was restricted by the toilet. It was possible to use the shower though and for the short time I stayed it wasn't too much of a problem.

The reception staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel was clean in all areas including reception, the breakfast room and the room itself. The room was spacious. The facilities in the room were just what we needed. The soap and shower gel dispensers were full and smelled nice. Even the toilet roll was folded into a little triangle! The complimentary breakfast was also nice. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. In summary, basic but brilliant!

The pillows weren’t that comfy but I’m quite fussy with pillows anyway. The price was more than I would want to pay, but I was desperate to find a hotel in the vicinity of an event I was going to and didn’t have much choice left. If I had paid that much and found it to be poor, unclean or the staff rude, I would have been very annoyed. But as I had a good stay I didn’t mind the price as much.

The room was cleaned on daily basis and had everything needed. There was a basic breakfast included, which gave us a good start of the day and some energy to explore the city. The staff was very responsive and friendly. Near the property there are a lot of Turkish restaurants and fast foods, an Aldi market store, bus station and underground,etc.

Sometimes the WiFi was very bad. In our room there was only one chair and we were two…

Once you get into the hotel,it is well furnished and the room, equipped with all necessary mod cons.It was spacious and quiet and the air conditioning works well.

Unfortunately the lift was broken but the receptionist kindly carried my case to the 4th floor.The water took a very long time to get warm.I nearly gave up and had a cold shower but finally it started to work.The entrance is rather off putting as it is very basic and needs modernization.

We requested two rooms together which was met Thank you. The bedding and towels were bright white with cleanliness. Room was very warm and clean. Tea/milk etc was replenished daily as was towels. Location was great for us and near the underground. Breakfast is basic but fresh and just what we needed. I feel some reviews were harsh as it was excellent value for the price we paid. Thank you to all staff.

Nothing as it ticked all the right boxes.

The hotel located near two tube stations: Edgware Road and Baker Street. Location is very good. Staff is friendly, neighbors were not noisy. We had double room. The Hotel is small enough not to make a lot of noise. We had good view from the window. In our room we had coffee, tea (really delicious black tea(, milk and teapot. If you forget something (toothbrush, toothpaste etc.) you can ask staff to help with it. Towels, bathroom and were clean. We had two nights in this hotel and we were very satisfied with everything. Moreover you will have breakfast. We liked the breakfast. Breakfast includes yogurt, rolls, croissants, coffee, milk, juices, cereals, jam, cheese, toast. We had a good rest and we are happy that we chose this hotel.
