Harry's Hotel & Restaurant

We stayed here for my son's graduation in July. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, the nicest I've met in a long time, so pleasant, and thoughtful. We booked two x twin rooms. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious they were. One had a sofa, the other a small table and chairs. Both rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable next time I stay. The restaurant does really good pub food, large portions that are very reasonably priced. We had paninis for lunch that could've fed two people. I was so full I couldn't eat dinner that night and I have a large appetite. We did struggle to find the car park at the back but it wasn't a huge issue. I'll definitely be back next summer. Great value for money!

Staff were friendly and polite. The room was clean, comfortable, and a good size. The location was great for beach, food, and shopping plus close to train station. Breakfast was yummy, and there was a good range of things to choose from. The price was high for 2 nights but compared to other places it was pretty reasonable for the area. It's Wales during the summer holidays so it's not going to be cheap.

Our window couldn't be closed all the way so I could hear vehicles passing by. I'm a light sleeper, so that affected my sleep. Earplugs were provided but didn't work for me.

We had the family apartment and it was amazing!! It had 2 bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the lounge, a kitchen and a bathroom, all of which were spotlessly clean and tidy. Each of the rooms had a TV on the wall and the beds were really comfortable. We had been provided with fans as well which was so helpful. The hotel is just a short walk from the town and beach. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around, plus the hotel itself serves food too We had a great stay and there wasn't one thing we didn't like.

Nothing, we had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer.

Having stayed in this location before and enjoying the experience is the reason I returned. Ironically I had the same room as the year before. The service was excellent and that was another reason I rebooked the hotel for an annual event. Ps. I am very choosy about where I stay in regard to quality, service and staff interaction.

The rear "Car Parking" is in an enclosed ally, it is hard to find as it is accessed from a one-way street. Having been the year before I found it okay however the motorcycle parking was taken up by a car so it was difficult to initially park but the Duty Manager explained that the alleyway was in fact not an in-and-out so we could park in the alley. Better Signage would have solved this issue.

On arrival the staff were friendly and professional. Everything was explained including the car parking so no questions needed to be asked later. The room was clean and comfortable and even had a good shower and TV. The business is set up very well here, you have a bistro / bar to one side which seemed quite popular and the main bar (with a pool table) behind and a beer garden with the hotel rooms being upstairs. Everything you could want from a visit is here and I would stay here again if in Aberystwyth.

The room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is an older hotel, but they maintain it very well. The young lady at check-in is extremely sweet and nice, and a wonderful host for the hotel. She also was in charge of breakfast the next morning. Hotel is in a great location, just walking distance from the water. The breakfast was wonderful. 

It is an older hotel, but you can tell, but it is still in good shape. The bathroom has been totally remodeled, which is nice. 

My son and I stayed at Harry's Hotel the night before a uni open day. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and looked recently decorated. The shower was warm and powerful and the bathroom was very clean. Ear plugs were provided but we weren't bothered by any noise from the street. We arrived too late to eat in the evening but breakfast was excellent, all cooked to order with a good range of choices. I'd definitely stay here again.

The room was a little warm but there was a standing fan which helped cool us down.

The location was ideal, very central. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, especially David. The rooms were spacious and the clean. The bar and restaurant areas were nicely presented and kept clean by the staff. The breakfast and evening meal we had were lovely but be careful they are very generous with the portions!

Due to central location there was some noise late at night from people going home, but ear plugs were provided in the room. There's no stairs to this listed building so if you have mobility issues ask for a lower room on booking. The parking in the town is horrendous and the hotels car park is limited, but the staff tried hard to let you know when a space was available if you were about.

The hotel is in the heart of the city - very close to the seashore and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. I was locked out of my room at mid-night due to an issue with my room key, and the staff was so supportive even at that late hour. Loved the place and would like to stay there again if I travel back to Aberystwyth.

When I went there, the temperature was very hot. it is nice to have a fan

The staff were so polite and friendly .. so helpful in changing our room to a 1st floor when they realised I would have problems with so many stairs .. the room it's self was so clean and the bed really comfortable I had a really good night's sleep .. everything was there that you could possibly need and great shower 🚿 😌.. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Harry's to all my friends when they come to Aberystwyth .. Thanks all for a great stay albeit just 1night
