The hotel has undergone a recent refurbishment, the staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive. The hotel is well presented inside & out, the room facilities are clean and to a high standard. It is a short distance to the city centre with bus/taxis available. The hotel staff are extremely welcoming and informed us of the recent refurbishment & provided information on the area which we all respected.

We had a great time at this hotel! The employees are very nice, and the room is great. There is a new decoration and enough space for everyone.  The breakfast was good, and the stuff are very kind. The exact geographic area is awsome, near a big supermarket and a synagoge. Very recommended

Nothing to add :)

The hotel is in a orthodox Jewish neighborhood of Manchester which we didn't know beforehand but didn't mind either. But the hotel and the breakfast are tailored to that demographic. The room was much bigger than I had anticipated, the beds were big and comfortable. The parking situation was also very good and easy, checkin was easy and the breakfast was alright.

The bathroom was also pretty good even though the bathroom got completely wet when showering, it felt like the shower was maybe leaking? The breakfast was a bit weird since every single item was pre-packaged and some stuff you had to get out of the fridge like milk, yogurt etc. We were a bit surprised that there were almost exclusively sweet spreads for the bagels etc., the only non-sweet spread was some pre-packaged soft cheese.

The hotel by far exceeded our expectations. We had booked as a large group, booking 3 rooms, x2 standard rooms and x1 suite. Each room had a small hallway on entering, with a bathroom and room/rooms off this, each having its own door. Plenty of room for travel cots if needed. Everyone in our group mentioned how comfy the beds were and how well they had slept. The room had a kettle, a fridge (only big enough for a pint of milk), a fan and plenty of mirrors. The Shabbos lights were bright enough and we didn't need the use of the main lighting. The gentleman at reception was friendly and helpful with all questions that we had. If we needed any extra cups, milk etc, he happily gave us some more on request. At breakfast there was an unlimited large selection of pastries and croissants, bread options, yogurts and cereals - with butter and different flavoured jams. Lots of fruit to also choose from. There was a selection of hot drink options and boxed milkshakes, milk and orange juice. Some of the group travelled by Uber to the city centre which cost £7, so also very reasonable and was roughly 10minutes travel time.

Another keycard that activated the electrics would have been great for the suite with 2 rooms, not for the lighting but for the power to activate the fan. The reason we never asked was that we found that a supermarket points card worked just the same. If we had asked, I'm sure we would have been provided with a second card.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom had a great shower. The staff are exceptionally friendly, offering unlimited free bottled water and encouraging us to take as much breakfast food with us as we liked upon checkout. The hotel is situated in the very pleasant Jewish neighbourhood with free car parking and a bus stop right outside for easy travel into the city centre. With a 24 hour reception the hotel is perfect for a night out in Manchester without paying extortionate city centre prices.

Kosher breakfast is basic but not bad by any means and there is plenty of it. Absolutely no complaints for the price.

What a lovely hotel Hazeldean is. We're a family of five with three young children and travelled to Manchester for a show we had booked at the AO arena. Other families were in the hotel too but I have to say it was one of the quietest stays we have ever had anywhere. We had a family room on the top floor and the rooms we had were superb. Two single beds in one room and a double and single in another along with the en-suite. The rooms were clean, tidy and spacious with adequate furniture and extremely comfortable beds. The bathroom was immaculate with fluffy bathmat and towels provided, the shower was sparkling and the hot water plentiful. There were plenty of sockets including ones with USB sockets too, a kettle, tea bags and sachets of coffee etc. Disposable cups and spoons provided. There were no UHT sachets of milk, however when we enquired about milk they very kindly gave us a small carton which we were able to store in the mini fridge provided. There was no TV which in all honesty wasn't a problem and it meant the kids had to read or play games... Actual family interaction! We had our evening meal just 4 minutes up the road (via car) at a lovely family pub called the Friendship Inn. Food was tasty and we highly recommend it. Despite fireworks going off throughout the city, literally non stop from the moment it got dark until just before midnight, everyone had a good night's sleep in what have to be the comfiest hotel beds I have ever slept in. The breakfast was continental with plenty of croissants, pastries, cereal, yoghurt, toast and fruit, along with tea and coffee making facilities (plenty of milk and non dairy alternatives) and bottled water was complimentary. A thoroughly wonderful and enjoyable stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend or book again in the future.

I forgot my hairdryer and sadly all the ones the hotel had were already loaned out to other guests. Wasn't a huge problem for me with having short hair, but others may take issue.

Lovely quiet hotel with a spacious room. Beds were very comfortable and the area was good for bus links into Manchester. Room was clean and tidy.

I do think for the price a cooked breakfast should be included. There was no information at all in the room regarding breakfast, check out times, bus times or what buses you could get or local attractions. We had walked an hour to get to the hotel, arrived hot and sweaty and the receptionist did not offer to help us with our bags. These are small things that would have made our stay even more enjoyable.

Lovely little hotel, continental/buffet breakfast was ample & delicious 😋. Rooms clean, spacious, comfortable. Staff amazing, Marcus on reception was very polite, welcoming, & kind. He let us help ourselves to free bottled water, which was in reception area, lots of coffee, tea through out the reception & bedrooms, said we could help ourselves to the buffet breakfast treats anytime throughout the day. Ample products in, bedrooms, could ask for extras anytime. Lorraine Jennings Shaw & family. Thanks for lovely stay.

Location was good.easy access everywhere. Breakfast not much option but still good however I belive that was due the passover. Staff was incredibly accommodating. Whatever we ask for they went above and beyond to help us. In all honesty we travel a lot and this kind of excellent service in UK I have seen for the first time.

Breakfast could be more variety however it was passover and hotel let us know beforehand that will be the case. So can't really complain here.

Everything! The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! The suite was immaculate and the staff were really friendly! Shout out in particular to Marcus and Louise for the lovely and warm welcome we received as well as the cleaning staff behind the scenes. if clean is important to you, look no further! Location was perfect for us as it was near to where we needed to be for our stay. Not many amenities nearby but not an issue for us. Besides, I’m sure you can find a nearby Tesco or grocery store if need be. It was so quiet and peaceful I thought we were the only ones there! If I ever have to stay in Manchester I know where to go! Just want to point out a couple of things for those reading this, there was no TV in the room (but I think that’s a good thing- a break from screen time is just what we needed!). Although I think they might introduce TVs. Also the fridge is quite small but again fine for us we just used it to store milk for tea. I don’t know how important those things are to others but thought I should mention. However, that should not detract from the overall amazing stay we had. Breakfast in the morning was lovely too. Its continental and as my kids are big on cereal worked out just fine for us. The adults had tea and pastries.

Nothing! If I was being really picky I guess a hot breakfast would be nice but it’s something that can be introduced if enough ppl want it.
