The Lovat Hotel

The bed was super comfy, the room was beautiful! Super friendly staff who couldn’t have been more helpful.

The only thing was the breakfast set up was a bit confusing, the member of staff in the breakfast room didn’t explain anything to us, we had no idea if it was just cereal and pastries or if there was a cooked breakfast available, however considering the price and the fact it was included in the room, it was quite reasonable.

Let's see... The Lovat Hotel made my hall-of-fame list for many reasons. We were lucky enough to be granted the honeymoon suite. The room was enormous, tidy, beautiful, with really nice view, and the decoration was simply amazing, thanks to our favourite Sarah's touch. An exceptional personality with great taste, was really helpful and always available. The bar offers a great variety of drinks and there is also an 8-ball pool, where one may relax. All the above, combined with jazz music and our friend from Sri Lanka who had the night shift, made it quite an experience. We would also like to thank our morning Scottish-Spaniard friend. Everything was beyond our expectations and, should we find ourselves in the vicinity of Perth, we will come back for an even greater experience!!!

The parking lot was a liitle narrow for my liking but OK, we survived!

I liked the location, in walking distance to railway station. The room was clean and comfortable. I ate there, had chilli, chicken salad which was very good. The servers in the bar and restaurant were lovely. The outdoor decking was nice and spacious. The breakfast was continental but absolutely sufficient and served in a nice clean area and the girl on duty was fine.

The location is close enough to Perth centre that it is possible to walk there. The staff are exceptionally nice, polite and helpful. The price includes a cooked breakfast or cereal if preferred. The train station is not far (£5 ride away). There is a bar open late and the in house food must be good (i didn't try it) as there was always a queue of just eat and deliveroo drivers waiting on orders to take out. (Normally they are at hotels to drop off so this was a first to see for me) There is hotel parking and a covered outside area for those that want to smoke or like the fresh Scottish air. Great place and would visit this hotel again if in the area.

The breakfast could be improved by offering black pudding. But was just fine without.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Perth. I had a wonderful experience at the (TLH). Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues! oh and free Breakfast

Staff very professional and courteous , the duty manager Cristoffer was extremely helpful polite and humorous. The rooms were large and comfortable , great blackout curtains saved being woken at first light. Plenty of tea coffee etc. Probably one of the best breakfasts I have had in a hotel. A big shout out to the lady working the bar on the night of our stay, my wife was looking for some chocolate and the hotel never had any so she gave my wife her own bar.

The internal décor needs a freshen up and maybe a lighter colour scheme would work wonders. Maybe set up a vending machine with snacks , chocolate etc.

Room was less than I expected,no window but a starlight with a remote to close it, that I discovered the second day after hanging a towel over ma head haha...but can't complain,had Tea and Coffee plus hairdryer etc in ma room...Staff were VERY friendly!!!! Bar also amazing, pool table and tv plus sports etc..!! Cosy as Fuck! So yes...Please stay!!

Jimmy's weird AF and no window, so room get's claustrophobic after a while..The "George Micheal" room with island mural against the wall is not my thing....

Sara and the staff are so welcoming and can't do enough for you Very friendly people. Sara dressed up as a bunny for Easter Sunday and made amazing stories for everyone. Room was basic and clean. Buffet breakfast which included 2 types cereal, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, potato scones, hashbrowns,beans and scrambled eggs. Tea coffee apple/orange juice and toast.

Bathroom door didn't close properly or lock but was informed it was to be fixed.

We chose the hotel because it was a convenient location for us coming from a trip from Scotland and before leaving the rental car next morning at Edinburgh Airport. They gave us a bit better room with a large window without additional charges. Quite clean and you can relax in the bathtub.

The hotel is quite old. Breakfast is included but the food tastes bad and seems like it has been reheated several times. Burned potatoes and no cheese, vegetables or fruits.

This hotel is perfect for what you pay, the family run hotel is expanding and clear their is changes being made to the decor. Sarah can't do enough for you, she really made our stay with her customer service, going above and beyond. Exceptional member of staff. The bar was great, large with good variety, reasonably priced with large screens for football The menu is limited but definitely something for everyone. I had pizza and chips and it was delicious. The rooms are being updated, my room was quite dated but the bed was comfortable and it was clean enough. The breakfast included was open buffet HOT which was alovely treat on a cold morning, the staff always check your OK and are forever smiling.

The rooms are not soundproof despite it saying they are, so early rise with people walking down the corridors.
