Sky Lodge Perth

Easy to find. Friendly, helpful staff. good sized, clean room with sitting area and En suite. Quiet although at small airport. Use of kitchen with microwaves, toaster, fridge, freezer etc. Use of iron and ironing board too. Continental breakfast included. Very good value for money. Coop/Tesco express and takeaway places in Scone only a 5 min drive away. We would definitely go again, good base to go travelling for the day either over to Dundee or north wards.

All fine for us however others may find to too quiet as it is in an industrial park and breakfast served in another separate building a short distance away. Door locks didn't work properly, you need to lock it from inside and pull the door shut to lock.

The rooms were both large and spotlessly clean. There's a kitchen area with plates and cutlery available so we could bring food back as we were travelling with our dog. It's a short drive to local restaurants and takeaways. Use of the fridge and microwave were also really useful. The location is excellent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Vegan breakfast was provided which included plant based bread, a muffin and porridge along with individual milk and flora spread. The manager contacted following check out to let us know we'd forgotten a jumper and arranged to send it. We'll be back for longer next time we're visiting Perth!!

A strange set up as it is all different buildings so throws you at first. There has been a comment about a musty smell but I felt it was only in the corridor (what can you expect when people come in from outside and it has been raining) the smell was not in the bedroom. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable and there were good tea facilities. The breakfast next day (in another building) was very nice indeed and the breakfast area was very clean and was constantly being cleaned and kept tidy by a member of staff who was very pleasant

Attending wedding nearby. Staff made it so much easier by providing early access which allowed us to travel and change and get there on time. Sourced local taxis too.

Some fellow guests arrived 11pm ish. Kids ran back and forward from room to car, shouting, banging doors, having a general carry on. No attempt by the adults to calm them down. Not hotels fault, though carpets in the corridor would have reduced the noise.

This place was a lot better than some of the higher price hotels. Very quiet, helpful chap at reception.

Sat Nav took me to the right location, but once on the site I found it a bit hard to actually locate. The Sky lodges reception, it was a mixture of different buildings. But after asking someone I was directed to the reception, I was told that some signs had been blown over and not replaced, also very small sign lying on the grass was hard to notice which showed the unit number. So these really need to be sorted.

Hotel chosen for proximity to Perth Scone Airport where I had a bit of Aviation Business to attend, rooms are spacious & functional. Bathroom was perfect for a Hotel Room. Very quiet hotel.

Not really something to dislike, but bedroom doorlock didn't lock in Room 109 ( only found out following morning, but not sure it would be a security issue as outer ( external doors lock to hotel complex ). Breakfast fairly limited to a Continental Style Breakfast ( would have liked a Full Scottish Breakfast, but the room rate is cheap so I accept that it is a Budget Stop over Hotel as opposed to a Tourism Hotel with all the trimmings.)

This was the best place we stayed in Scotland, The Sky Lodge Perth was a very great surprise in our trip. We were nicely welcomed by the staff, our room was very clean, with a very good amount of space, the bathroom had a bath and a nice shower. The highest point was the breakfast, everything was delicious, there was a lot of options, croissant, waffles, breads, coffe, Milk, Juice, yorguts and cereals, all fresh and refield by the staff time by time. Excellent value for money and exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. Easy to find, lots of parking, friendly reception, large and spotless room and bathroom. Couldn’t believe breakfast was included in the price, not a traditional cooked breakfast but still plenty of choice. Cereals, breads, baked goods, cheese, spreads, yoghurts, juices, hot drinks. All in the stay was fab for 3 of a family in one room and good breakfast to set us off on the next day. We will definitely be back. We’re on the road quite a lot in Scotland and stayed in a family room the previous week which was much smaller than this, even with the extra bed. The whole place is very very clean and bins to get rid of your rubbish right outside. We ate our chips in our room and used the tea making facilities, then went to event, then 5 of us played cards and had a great laugh in our room. We booked 2 rooms for 5 people and it was great. Highly recommend.

Maybe some people will find the position of the lodge a bit far out from town but if you’re driving it’s perfect. 5 mins in car to Chinese chippy (was fab). Can’t comment on public transport.

It's an unusual location, but quite handy and quiet. The room was huge and wifi worked fine. There's no one on duty in the reception overnight, but there was a security guard present. We were pleased to find that breakfast was served quite early, even on the Sunday morning when we were there, as we needed to make an early start. Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice and the dining room was very clean and tidy. We didn't see any staff in the morning and it reminded us of house elves at Hogwarts - whoever they were they did a good job.

Slightly startled to realise there was no toilet roll in the bathroom, which meant a quick dash to the nearest village (Scone), but that's a minor thing.

Wide range in breakfast buffet, glad wasn't raining as it is in a separate building. Not a normal place to stay, old airfield buildings mixed in with other businesses. Wanted to know more about the location.

Thin walls so noise a bit of an issue, including a dog left in room several doors down barked and whined from 6am. Long way from A9 which we were travelling and using Perth as an overnight stop. Several items on the breakfast buffet were poor quality.
