Reigate Manor Hotel

This is a very comfortable and clean hotel. The staff are excellent and took trouble to attend to our needs. The hotel's location is within easy reach of Gatwick airport and the M25. It would be an ideal stopover for walkers on the Pilgrims Way and it is set in a good position above the pleasant country town of Reigate. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, and clean. Breakfasts were leisurely - the staff did not hurry us along - and we were able to enjoy a full range of items to choose from. The manager attended each guest to check on whether they were satisfied with the hotel.

Nothing! We had a very enjoyable stay.

We requested a quiet twin bedded room and this was provided. We have stayed here before and it is very centrally situated for visiting our family and friends in the area. The beds are comfortable with good sheets and towels and plenty of piping hot water. The room had just been recarpeted but the door dragged on the carpet and need adjustment.

Sadly the shower set up over the bath is not ideal and water seems to escape down the screen and onto the bathroom floor so it was essential to place the bath mat to soak up water leakage.

24h reception and access to hotel and room via buzzer if need be. Easy access to M25. Very quiet at night. Plenty of parking.

Bit of a trek to get to some of the rooms from the entrance, would have been nice to have other entry points. Parking spaces a little bit small but not too bad. Quite warm inside even with the heating turned off. A bit on the expensive side but that's Reigate quite frankly. Large bed was the old 2 single mattress placed together and the meting point where they were pressed together was quite hard. Lighting options in room were a bit hit and miss.

Location was the best for us. Very pleasant outside area to sit and relax. Breakfast had a good choice but being gluten free, the bread served was a roll and tasted as though had been toasted from frozen. It was quite hard, bread slices would be preferable.

Our room had a sash window which only opened a very small amount, as the weather was warm the room was very hot. Can understand the reason for the limited opening for safety but maybe fans should be put in rooms like this.

The hotel is easy to find, not far off the motorway with a large car park. The room was comfortable and the staff were helpful. The bar meals were fine. It's not too far to walk into Reigate centre (just under a mile), and about 1km from the train station. It's also well placed for going up to Reigate Hill and the North Downs Way.

A bit of a dangerous road crossing to get to the pavement when walking into town (and it's uphill all the way back!). No problems with the hotel itself.

Location was ideal for visiting family. Lovely hotel, yes it is a bit dated, But we loved staying here. The food is lovely. The staff are what makes this place. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely like to stay here again.

Unfortunately, there was a bit of noise from events that were being held over the Friday and Saturday evening so didn't get much sleep. However, this hotel does warn people when they book that there could be some noise.

My wife and I are in our 80s and my wife has acute mobility issues. The facilities in our room were excellent as was access to the building. The reception and restaurant staff were particularly helpful and welcoming.

I needed to push my wife in a wheelchair to my daughters house which was nearby. Crossing the road was difficult due to the traffic both passing and entering the adjacent filling station.

great welcoming, lovely building and outdoor sitting, lots of parking, comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff, you can ask for more milk and coffee if you need some, the shower is wonderful and powerful, and you can even open the window to let natural fresh air in, our room was in the lower ground area. The breakfast room was nice and big, and the breakfast was cooked just right and stayed very hot.

The wardrobe was very bulky and restricted the walkway coming into the room and going to the bathroom in the dark at night, I nearly bumped my head. Also my stay was because of a wedding being held there, apparently you get a discount of £18.00 pounds, I wasn't told this and I missed out of that discount.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Good location to town - just a 20 minute walk away. Comfy bed and nice warm room. Tea and coffee making facilities in room, along with biscuits.

As others have mentioned, the hotel is certainly looking a bit dated and the room decor in particular could do with a refresh. The bathroom, although clean just felt very tired. We still enjoyed our stay and would likely return if in the area again, but would be good to see some updated rooms!

An great hotel with exceptionally professional and friendly staff. the young lady at check in was fantastic( sorry I didn’t get her name) arranging a taxi and ensuring we were aware when it arrived. the bar prices were reasonable and a good selection of alcoholic beverages. we didn’t eat at the hotel or have breakfast so I cannot comment on the food. A very good nights sleep in a cosy room it’s very close to the M25 & M23 so excellent for traveler’s needing a break.
