Fantastic hotel with exceptional views over the firth of forth, the super king size beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and eager to please. The food at dinner was delicious and reasonably priced, breakfast was also delicious and plentiful, we certainly left with very full stomachs.
The signal for the television was poor and lots of channels were unavailable, this may have been easily resolved but we didn't report it to the hotel.

Welcome sign outside the room and personal welcome message on a postcard of the hotel inside the room Tunnocks tea cakes as well as shortbread with tea and coffee facilities. Fabulously comfortable bed. Gorgeous toiletries. Sea view room with tide coming up to the wall outside.

The rooms are literally on the edge of the sea are very well finished. There are great views across the firth of forth and the pub is very quaint. The local food is truly outstanding. We had both evening meal and breakfast. It has the best porridge I have ever tasted. If you follow that with the full breakfast you are truly set up for the day. I can't recommend highly enough.

Beautiful location, with the beach right outside and waves lapping close to the window - very romantic. Friendly personal service met all of our needs. We had a great meal in the Crusoe and the next evening we took the complimentary ride to the sister Ship Inn in Ely. Strongly recommend.

What a find. This hotel is just excellent - the room overlooked the beach, the staff were just great and the food was excellent. Difficult to get over what a fantastic place this is - just go there and experience it for yourself

Location of the hotel was first class. View from the room window was fantastic. Very large bed with good lighting. Walk in shower. Good coffee machine and music player. Great breakfast, superb evening meals.

Helpfulness of the reception staff was fabulous, I booked this room for some guests as I had very stupidly overbooked our own accommodation, the lady on the phone was very understanding and added a note to say I would take care of payment, the guests had a lovely stay and we’re well looked after Thank you

We liked the very comfortable room especially the bed. It was lovely having an uninterrupted view of the sea first thing in the morning ....and all day. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
