Was there for a double privet birthday celebration. The function suit was great the bar staff were great the female that was on that night (6/5/2023) was excellent. Went out her way to help and made us all very welcome. Also she was very polite and professional, and joined in with the laughter with us all when we were at bar. The main bar was excellent and so was the guy that was on, also had laugh with us after the function and made us feel at home. Professional and polite. The cost of drinks was very good to. Restaurant was great food was good and in morning the lady that delt with us was on reception. Brought us our pot of coffee/tea. Advised us were the choice of serials were. And when ordering the full breakfast, she was very understanding and got us what we all actually wanted in our fry up. Would recommend this hotel to everyone wanting to stay in the area .

Great location. Polite friendly approachable staff. Breakfast great. Building looks impressive as you drive in. Plenty of parking.

No lift to access upstairs. There were four in our group and 1 has walking difficulties so a lift would have been great. Also for getting the luggage up to the room. As we had to either ask for help or make 2/3 trips up and down the stairs Breakfast was for weekends 8am till 9.am but we were not told that on week days it was 7am till 8am so we nearly missed out one day.

This hotel was the best by far for value for an overnight stay compared to others in the area. Very friendly lady in reception and a very spacious, clean and comfortable room. It was a very hot night and the room had floor length french windows which opened all the way and was an absolute bonus to have open all night unlike other hotels with windows that only open one inch if you're lucky. We could not comment on the food as there was breakfast included in the price but we had to have an early start. Would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

staff were phenomenal, and the room was lovely and clean! we had a wonderful stay. especially thanks to the young woman and the older gentleman that ran the bar during the evenings and early morning. everything was absolutely perfect and made our anniversary very special!

the only thing i would change is maybe a little more information when checking in. about general questions. like when food stops being served, when checkout is and where you can get some more clean towels! :)

Food very good, beer very good, staff very helpful.

Understaffed, finding the hotel using the postcode, must learn to read signs, whilst looking at satnav map and listening as well as driving. Males can only do one thing at once! Lack of information about the room in the room e.g. fire escape procedures and how to get at the razor socket in bathroom, tv information too.

The location was excellent for our trip in Fife, the price was really good as I got a room upgrade. On arrival I asked if the provided evening meal, which they did without having to book a time slot. Breakfast in the morning was basic but adequate with a hot breakfast choice too.

Not the fault of the hotel but arriving back from a day out there was a group of very noisy individuals sitting at an outside area near the front entrance and directly down from my room drinking. Some of the individuals got into an argument and a fight broke out between some of the women. This went on for sometime before a member of staff stopped the incident. It has been a warm day but I had to shut the window because of the noise. I did mention the incident to staff the next morning and I got an apology.

The breakfast/dining room was really well set up & spaced out lovely, I cannot comment on the food as we left early & came back late so didn't order anything however when my son wanted an apple juice & I fancied a coffee the staff got these for us straight away with no fuss at all.

There wasn't really anything to dislike, the Hotel was in the location that I was looking for. There were shops a 10 minute walk away along with extremely large playing areas for the children, I suppose the only negative was the creaking floor boards as everywhere you walked upstairs the boards creaked & this could be an inconvenience to other guests as I tend to stay up fairly late.

Staff were lovely . Grounds were nice and rooms were clean and spacious .

Tv was small . Wall light didn’t work . Went down for dinner on Sunday there was no roast dinners left . There was some kind of High tea on the menu . Toast and jam for starters , a main meal and scones for desert . A cost of £17 with no alternative . We left and had to drive elsewhere for a meal . Our opinion of “what the hell “ was shared by others .

The superior family room was a brilliant size, two adults and two teenagers and there was plenty of room for us all. It was clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. Breakfast was lovely although not offered any toast to have whilst we waited for our food, which was top notch and freshly cooked btw, nor when our breakfast arrived.

The tv was a bit randomly on a table when there was a bracket on the wall and you can see where there was some artwork/pictures hanging over the bed at some point but is no longer there, just you can see where the wall has been patched. The light in the bedroom isn't great for using the mirror on the dressing table, the bedside lights aren't bright enough to improve this but actually the bathroom lighting is great.

The staff were an excellent group of people .who were helpful, respectful, and very obliging.. We had a very good evening meal . Once again the staff pulled all stops out to accommodate our every need.

Breakfast time was a bit early, whilst I understand it is good to have an early start for people with work commitments . Perhaps extending the time from 7- 9 am would be more acceptable. Saying that the Breakfasts were very good.
