Breakfasts were lovely. Menus were left in room to fill out each day for the following morning with what we wanted and the time we wanted to have it. Room was clean, bright and airy. It felt spacious and was easy to relax in. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel was provided which was great. Suzanne was friendly and informative yet impartial. She mentioned various things to do and suggestions for places to eat in the town were based on previous guests recommendations. She checked with us if there was anything more we needed for our room and was easy to contact if necessary. Suzanne took a genuine interest in us and our plans and asked the following morning whether we had enjoyed ourselves.The B & B was walking distance from the town and had parking facilities so we didn't have to worry about our car. An excellent base which we would highly recommend.

Immaculately clean , lovely host , great location and fabulous Breakfast .I appreciated the No dogs allowed policy . Seahouses is great jumping off point for other little villages and towns .

We are large people .It was a very small room with the en-suite tucked into corner with door opening directly into bed. It meant I was using toilet within a meter and half from my husband who was in bed . After three nites there was no mystery left in our marriage . Three nights were too long . It was a little expensive for size of room. No fault of the host but village of seahorses is overrun by dogs . Not everyone thinks your dog in the bar, restaurant,clothing shop is cute .

Keys available for room on arrival, no fussing about trying to contact host. Off street parking. Room for seven cars. Spacious, clean comfortable room and a great sized en suite bathroom, complete with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Excellent breakfast selection, all the guests on our stay had something different and it all looked and tasted great. Poached eggs were a triumph every time 😊. Host, Suzanne, was lovely and friendly. She was really helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area and where to get the best food in the many restaurants within the town. Brilliant location, 5 minutes walk to town center, beach and harbour.

Nothing not to dislike. The only slight improvement I could suggest would be to have king size beds as doubles are just that tiny bit too small. The rooms are very spacious and could take one without any loss of space.

We really enjoyed our two night stay at Dunelm House. Suzanne made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and came with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Guests sit around one big table so it's a good chance to socialise with others and compare holiday ideas. Dunelm House is just a few seconds walk from Seahouses' shops and restaurants, the harbour, and the amazing nearby beaches. It's also a great base to explore further afield in Northumberland. Bamburgh Castle, Chillingham Castle, Lindisfarne and Alnwick are just a short distance away. A wonderful place to stay which I highly recommend.

Excellent accomodation close to harbour bars and resaurants. Great base if you are looking to visit Holy Island Bamburgh or othe areas of Northumberland Contactless check in. Suzanne text to advise when rooms were ready which was just after 12.00, which is much better than the stadard hotel check in of 15.00 or 16.00. Room was immaculate with tvs in both the bedroom and separate sitting area (room 3). Cofortable bed with ensuite shower facilities. Tolietries provided with towels and hair dryer. Good choice of breakfasts which you order the evening before by 19.00. Ample parking.

Quality crisp linen on a comfortable bed. Modern shower room with good water pressure. Very good WiFi. Free parking. Fabulous, quiet location but close to harbour, restaurants etc. Amazing breakfasts on offer using local prize-winning ingredients. The biggest asset to Dunelm though, is its host Suzanne, who gives you a big welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Some reviewers have said they weren't keen on all the guests sharing a communal breakfast table. But actually, as a solo traveller I liked that.

Great communication from Suzanne, room ready before lunchtime which was a bonus. We chose to pay a little bit extra for the suite, which has a separate living room. This was great for us as we don't spend all our evenings out .Nice choice of breakfast and tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Small fridge in the room ideal for drinks. Short walk to Seahouses, easy to find. Used the bus around the corner to Bamburgh but could have gone as far as Berwick for £2. Excellent meal at Elan pizzeria, just a few doors down.

One large table in the dining room which might not be to everyone's taste.

Check in was easy and Suzanne advised when room was ready to occupy...even ahead of schedule which I found great. Room was fab and even had an additional area to relax with ample facilities without having to lounge on the bed. Breakfast options where also fantastic and hassle free as we chose the evening before, so all we had to do was rock up to the dining room and be welcomed by Suzanne, where nothing was too much trouble.

Honestly, I couldn't fault the property or host. There were no negative aspects.

Everything about the stay is spot on. From arrival a lovely text is sent to welcome and inform when the room is ready and any other instructions. There is a space for every car so no worry about parking. Lovely clean room, no noise from outside, ample plugs, mirrors, lighting. Plenty of storage and hanging space. Comfy ‘just right’ bed. Large clean bathroom with shower. Lots of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and Border Biscuits. Fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge. Anything you run out of you just ask at breakfast the next morning. You place your order for breakfast on paper before 7pm the night before. Lots of choice and all absolutely delicious. Lovely friendly hosts. There’s a Co-op two mins up there road and also a fab hot hog roast sandwich shop. It’s actually in walking distance of lots of fab pubs and restaurants. Everything! Spoke to Suzanne on morning of arrival to confirm timing, key location etc. and all very easy. On arrival found parking spot easily and went in. Room was a pleasant surprise - everything there, all working and a small fridge, always very handy. Location wise it's only a 3-5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants and maybe 10 minutes to the harbour. Breakfast was to a very high standard and great to have all the guests sat around the same table and chatting over breakfast. We'll certainly go back there - thinking on it, perhaps I should give a bad review so there's a better chance of us getting in!

Had to do a few passes up and down the road to find it - signage isn't that prominent in the dark. Yes, I know, I'm scrapping the bottom here......... Easy fix though
