The friendliness of all the staff was exceptional! They were like old friends even though we had only just met them. The cleanliness is of the highest standard that you don't always find in 5* star accommodation! There was a wedding on when we stayed but this certainly did not affect our enjoyment. The location is fabulous and boy did we sleep well 😴 Would certainly recommend staying here and we'll be returning for a longer stay next time. Thank you everyone at The Pig Inn.

All of it, it's such a beautiful hidden gem of a place. We cannot fault it. The beds are super comfortable too.. The restaurant and food was amazing, the 2 ladies Eileen & charlotte who served us and looked after us was just a pleasure to have there, they really made us laugh and so welcome and they did so much for us, great ladies thanks for making our stay such a fantastic one.

One small thing, which was... according to the pictures on the booking.com, it showed us booking a completely different room to what we was allocated. We thought we booked the room with a bath in the bedroom (according to the pictures) but we wasn't put in that room. We ended up with a different room. So some slight confusion. But we still enjoyed our stay. The room and bathroom was still very good that we had. Just expected something else but it didn't effect us to much. We was really happy. We would definitely go back and recommend to friends

The location was perfect, easy to find, polite and helpful staff, bedrooms are beautiful, everything you need, quite and beds were so very comfortable, food was delicious - good produce. All in all good price for what we got.

Wi-Fi upstairs didn’t work - connected to router but no Wi-Fi signal - tv didn’t work brilliantly (weather) so used phone data to connect for better signal. Beds were single beds pushed together - not a problem - but did split apart at times so would recommend applying a latch to both ends of the bed to stop it splitting when using as a double bed.

I was on an adventure - to cycle, solo, across the width of Britain. This was one of the 12 accommodations that I stayed in along the journey. The lady host was very friendly and approachable from the moment I arrived to the moment that I left. I thoroughly enjoyed an evening meal of fish and chips and a very tasty dessert. I stayed in a room which had a lounge too so it was great to be able to spread out and have room to do my physio exercises. Would definitely highly recommend this place for food and overnight accommodation.

Perfect location for a lovely tranquil catch up with friends. Staff were attentive and the food was great. We were in the Old Spot room, which is really nice, bed comfy lovely and peaceful despite being right at the top of the stairs, it is a small hotel you don’t really hear any other guest passing by, so no need to worry about noise. Food excellent and good value for both meals and drinks, with good choices.

The only couple of criticisms I have is my room had two lovely big velux windows to look out into the night sky, if you open them you just get a glare from the festoon lights outside which stay on all night, a bit like a street light outside your window and when the sun comes up early in the summer you're wide awake at five in the morning. Maybe a couple of velux blinds would be a good addition then I would be scoring a 10. However this is just my personal opinion and certainly wouldn’t let it detract me from staying here again.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel very welcome. Dinner in the evening was very good and so was breakfast. There is a very pleasant bar area with comfy chairs and sofas. The bed was comfortable so we had a good night's sleep. There was even a fan in the wardrobe which was great because we sleep all year round with a fan on. Just a couple of suggestions: better signage on the road would make it easier to find you and perhaps one firm and one soft pillow would allow for individual preferences.

Nothing that we didn't like.

Staff were very friendly and attentive . The inn looked very clean and homley. The food was exceptional 👌, we had Sunday lunch and breakfast. Free large car park . A lovely traditional Yorkshire place to stay and eat with open space & fields to view.

We arrived on a Sunday bank holiday weekend . Unfortunately the restaurant served food upto 3.45pm . Bar closed at 6.30pm . I think especially on a bank holiday weekend should have stayed open all evening. Pints of lager a little expensive £5.25 a pint .

A beautiful, tastefully decorated property with lots of wood and lovely leather furniture. We had a comfortable bed and a quiet room, with a nice shower cubicle. The food was excellent with a good choice and a good choice of wine.

There were no towels in the room on arrival. The young barman messed up the drinks order. I ordered a Shiraz( red wine) but he delivered a Chardonnay (white wine). It was dark in the dining room and difficult to see your food. My food was very salty.

This was a last minute booking made in the morning of the day we were going to stay at night. The room & entire building were really cute, full of character & well kept; the bed was incredibly comfortable too. We used the attached restaurant for food & the staff in the restaurant were really friendly, polite and welcoming. The food in the evening & at breakfast was of an incredibly high standard and delicious; after the evening meal being so amazing, we couldn't wait for the breakfast in the morning. We have stayed at a lot of places, my husband especially as he travels with work and it was by far one of, if not the best places we have stayed at ever. We've already told friends & family to stay there & to use the restaurant!!! We will definitely stay again.

The only thing I can comment on was there were not plug sockets on each side of the bed, however I would not mark down for that as we took extra long phone cables as a precaution.

The staff were very accommodating when we had to change from 2 nights to 1 night due to a family emergency. They gave us the ground floor room which was a bit more expensive. This was due to the fact it has an outside hot tub and private patio with table and chairs. Unfortunately as it was last minute, we didn't have use of hot tub. Pity as that would've been special. Breakfast was very good along with the service.

The property is just off the main road, but pretty remote. There are limited services in Snaith. Sleepy little place. To access supermarkets etc, you have to go into Goole which is 7/8 miles away.
