The house is a beautiful Victorian house, very cosy and inviting. The owners are lovely and friendly, very welcoming and helpful. We travelled in an electric car and Josie, the owner of the property ensured that the car park space for our vehicle was available as soon as we arrived. We had a large room with one single bed and a king sized bed that could be split if required. There was seating in the room and tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The on suite was lovely and overall the room was spacious, cosy and clean. I'm a vegetarian and there was plenty of choice for breakfast for me, the food was well cooked and presented in a lovey dining area. There is a garden with seating and lighting if you fancy a drink outside of an evening. The area is near to the marina and is peaceful and well kept. I went with my 2 daughters, one who is heavily pregnant and the other who uses a crutch, we could have done with being nearer the place we was visiting, Victoria Park, for the flower show, but we used the car to get there, its a good walk of you can do it. I would definitely stay in this property again, even if I wanted to go alone they have single rooms too, which is good as it means your not paying an extra charge for single occupancy.

I liked everything apart from being so far from the flower show, but as I said before this was only because of my daughters incapacity at the time

Easy spacious parking, friendly welcome, fabulous room, wonderfully cooked breakfasts. Lovely quiet area, yet very handy for the town centre and the sea front. Quiet guesthouse. High levels of cleanliness and lovely touches such as an honesty fridge in the hall, with complementary milk and snacks. Room 3 very spacious. Lovely high ceilings everywhere. The beds were extremely comfortable with deliciously soft bedding. Good sized TV and plenty of tea/ coffee/ biscuits. Shower was wonderful. Loved the design of the bedside lamps too! There was very very good communication prior to our visit. We needed to check in later than expected, and Josie was responsive, helpful and very flexible. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Just excellent.

The location of the guest house was very good only a short walk to all of the attractions of Southport. The host was very friendly and helpful. The guest house was very clean and comfortable with a lovely garden and outside seating. The breakfast was exceptional, and it was the best gluten free breakfast that I have had. I would definitely recommend Edendale guest house and next time I come to Southport I will definitely be booking to stay here.

There was nothing to dislike.

The room was beautiful and perfect for me and my partner, there was also an additional room for the children to sleep. The room was absolutely spotless and the finishing touches were great. We had everything we needed and the breakfast was lovely and there was a good choice on the menu. Thank-you for a lovely stay

We stayed at Edendale House for the weekend as we were on a weekend break away for the Airshow. The hosts were very friendly and professional. The room was spotless, we enjoyed the extra touches such as the biscuits and chocolate mints. The breakfasts were hot and tasty, nothing was too much trouble. The hosts were also very helpful after we had checked out when we discovered we had a flat tyre, they loaned us a tyre pump so we could get to the nearest garage for a tyre repair. We would stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

Everything perfect!

It was really lovely. I think it was the cleanest BnB I've ever stayed in and there were lots of nice touches in addition to the usual refreshments and soap / shampoo. Breakfast was delicious and owners helpful.

WiFi worked intermittently, not sure if this was just in my particular room. May also have been a temporary problem. I would have given a score of 10 if the WiFi had been better as everything else was perfect.

The reception from Josie was warm and welcoming. She took me through the house procedures efficiently and made me feel at home. The freshly cooked breakfast was stunning and it kept me going almost the whole day! I've been to Southport on business many times and I have just found this superb little gem of a B&B. I'll be using this regularly from now on.

There was nothing not to like

Friendly welcome from Josie making us feel immediately at home. Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and some home from home touches such as bedside clock, chocolates with our drinks, fresh water in a bottle and extra toiletries eg cotton buds and cotton balls. Also a fan provided for our comfort as it was a hot couple of days. Breakfast was extremely good with lots of choice.

Property was super clean well equipped and much thought had been put into little things that make a B and B great to stay in - area was quiet and so convenient for our Southport event.

A little earlier check in would have been really great .

Lovely house, lovely clean room. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, the scrambled egg was perfect! Wasn't expecting such a luxury stay for the price. You could tell the owners took a lot of pride into their business, they were very professional. Covid safety was clearly very important to them to keep their guests safe.

We were up on the top floor and it was very windy. We could here the tiles banging which was loud. Weather cannot be helped and on the plus side we had been to a Xmas party so we would have slept through anything. The shower also wasn't brilliant, low pressure and changing temperature, but we only stayed 1 night, so wasn't a bother.
