Location and style friendly staff. I like the amenities not far to walk for entertainment . Would have been better if the breakfast was served in the hotel not much fun going across the rd to the bold for breakfast in the morning . When it’s chucking it down with rain . The breakfast and the friendly staff made up for it .

The fact the lift wasn’t working when I arrive and had luggage. I have osteoarthritis in my body and artritis in my hands. I struggle to use the stairs and there are far to many stairs for me to climb. when I climb stairs I am in pain . That’s why I don’t do stairs as a rule some times I can’t lift my leg up to climb them . a staff member kindly carried my cases upstairs stairs . If I knew the lift was out I wouldn’t have Brooked as I have a disabilities .

Room was very nice, bed was very comfy, ideal location for Southport with lots of Cafes and Pubs. Hotel was very clean, staff were excellent. Good value for money

Lights in room (112) kept flicking on and off which was very strange, my girl thought the room was haunted. I put it down to being an issue with the card slot on the wall which used to power the room when the card was inserted but was informed these had been disconnected. I guess needs more looking into. It would have been nice to have a hair dryer in the room which i was surprised there was not one in there.

When we arrived we was informed we had received a free upgrade, the receptionist that greeted us and checked us was lovely and very helpful. The room was upgraded to was lovely and clean.

We enjoyed our experience the only thing we was disappointed in was the bed as we didn’t have a good sleep. The two mattresses that was pushed to make a king size led to a dip in the middle of the bed which just wasn’t very comfortable at all. Also the noise from the bar below was very loud until late which I think was just to the room location as last time we stayed there was never an issue.

Loved this hotel my wife and I had a 2 night break just before Christmas and found the place great. Room was lovely and clean and very modern looking over Lord Street. It's in a great position with sports bar and great whisky bar underneath. The staff were great on reception especially Claudia who was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel if your thinking of staying over in southport.

Nothing we didn't like, but you do need to go over the road for your breakfast in the morning. It is well worth the trip as the breakfast was lovely.

The staff were so helpful and so nice to talk to

My room was next to the main door to the corridor. The door was of course a fire door for safety but due to the heaviness of the door it created a vacuum on my room door so in the night when guests would use the main door on the corridor to their rooms it moved my door so sounded like people were coming into my room. As I was staying alone it was jumpy and I did have disturbed sleep in the early hours. However when I explained this to the receptionist who was so lovely she said she was grateful for the feedback and would speak to management.

My stay was wonderful. I was having some work done at home and knew I could rely on the Lord Street Hotel to provide me with a sanctuary. My room was sooo lovely and quiet and I felt safe there alone. I'd like to say a special thank you to the housekeeping team who enhanced my stay by topping up my Supplies daily. I think I'll be a regular vistor when I have work done. I'm even tempted to book again now. I loved it that much. See you again very soon

Really good location, easy to access the local bars and nightlife. I stayed the night before my wedding and the team really looked after myself and fellow guests. On the wedding day me and my husband returned to our room to find a bottle of Prosecco and a congratulations desert which was a lovely surprise. The only issue we had was with my mother’s room, but after explaining the situation they automatically moved her to another room which happened to be the deluxe suite. Kenzie, Jade, Zoe and Craig made sure we had the best stay and provided exceptional customer service. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel in general, location, bars and staff.

Key cards not working properly. Constantly unable to gain access to room. We had accessible room, but found the wardrobe rail was too high and difficult to hang clothes unless 6ft tall +. Needs clothes pegs in bathroom for towels/bathrobes also need pegs for outdoor coats. A chair would be nice instead of having t sit on the bed all the time. Didn't like the fact that we needed to go to the bold hotel across the road for breakfast, would have preferred to eat at our hotel.

Breakfast was outstanding.at the hotel across the road the lady on the desk last night was lovely couldn't do enough for us. Very pleasent room was spotless bed was very comfortable absolutely will be back here to stay again. breakfast was a lovely surprise eggs Benedict. The sister hotel was spotless and clean. staff were lovely especially the guy who was showing us to our very clean table would highly recommend to friends and family. Nothing that we didn't not like

Nice hotel, very modern with attractive decor and in good repair. Lovely, comfy Queensize bed. Overall excellent and perfect if you're in Southport for an event or evening out. Breakfast was across the road at the sister hotel, The Bold, which is also very nicely designed and maintained. Breakfast was extremely nice and generous portions.

The ONLY bad point was the shower in bedroom 116, which was an electric one, and was absolutely awful. Tried every setting on it but there was no middle ground it either scalded the skin off you, or was freezing. Tried it again in the morning and managed to coax a pathetic luke warm dribble from it to wash under. Very disappointed, otherwise I would have given full marks across the board.
